Also I miss your old avatar unless I'm thinking of the wrong person in which case disregard all of this.
It was Ray Davies looking particularly dashing, was that it?
Also my favourite Beatles song would be either In My Life or Norwegian Wood.
Norwegian Wood for me.
Actually that's leaves out a whole bunch of songs.

My favourite is probably Here Comes The Sun, if you're forcing me to pick just one.
Within or Without You.

My new iPod finally came!
I can listen to music during school again!
Oh fuck I forgot about this thread!
We're doing a Beatles medley for our college performance.
Drive My Car - Taxman - Ticket To Ride
Drive My Car is so fucking fun to play when you're playing the bass and piano at the same time on a keyboard, awwwww yeah!

Strawberry Fields Forever
All My Loving
A Day in the Life
Oh, and I've been listening to the Love album a lot recently. Top class stuff.

Hey I have a request, I need some kind of proof where John, Paul, George or Ringo claims that Yoko was not the cause of the Beatles break up, if I could get a clip of an interview or something that is reliable I would be very thankful, I remember seeing John and Yoko at an interview where they played Woman is the nigger of the world but I can't remember how I found it. If you're bored and have some time over looking this up for me would be really appreciated

Don't you hate it when you can't find a video that you've seen before?!

Phil Spector and Yoko Ono are probably the main reasons they broke up.

Neither are the reason they broke up, there was trouble in the band long before Yoko and Phil Spector
They were all just so tired of each other. I mean, they'd been working together for 10 years and you go from smiley face little moptops to the innovators of psychedelia and other "obscure" music, you are going to have drifting. John and Paul's egos got the better of them, really.
and I'm almost positive that if it weren't for johns death, they would have done quite a bit of reunion stuff
I agree. I think that at least in the mid 80's or possibly in the 90's (pre-Linda's death/George's cancer getting worse/him getting stabbed) there would have been a big reunion for maybe a few more albums. By the 80's they were all really chill with one another again.

Dude... The White Album was made well before that happened.
The Beatles are the main reason The Beatles broke up.

Not really, John had already met Yoko and was writing songs about her during the whole white album thing.
and phil spector was the final straw for paul.
plus the white album wasn't the "turning point" or something, and the white album didn't signify that they were going to break up eventually
all of these things were just small parts of the whole.
I basically disagree with both fpchris and akz
Was actually at the Cavern club yesterday (my friend was performing in the back), feels crazy going down them stairs.
Also looked at the wall just over the street from it with all the bands/names on it who've performed at the Cavern pub, it's to the point where there are names a couple metres above of you, I also never knew Hendrix, Fripp, and Judas Priest performed there...

Stage 1: Struggle with creative control
Stage 2: Struggle to come up ideas for a new record
Stage 3: Whine about menial things like producers and bitches
then break up because they all couldn't buckle down and realise that they were the beatles. ;)
A girl in my english class was wearing a beatles shirt and I started to talk to her about it but she said "I dont really like them, this was just a present"
aww man
That would have made me rage so damn hard. I know this chick last year who used to wear this Let It Be shirt all the time but thought I was far-out for listening to the Beatles.
Like I said before.
They're the same thing as Che shirts.
Best band of all time.
My Dad just brought this home for my collection.
