how are you watching it?
wow that was really good when tom petty described what george said about roy orbisons death and ringo starr crying and how scorcese made it pitch black for like 20 seconds at the end so you'd look around the room
Thanks for spoiling it, dickwad. :> [editline]7th October 2011[/editline] also why the heck would they release it in the US first and not here? The country where the man originated from...
Paul on Steve Jobs: "Steve was a great creative artist. He was also a loving husband and father and I feel privileged to have known him. I enjoyed his quick sense of humour and his love of music. He came to quite a few of our concerts and it was always a pleasure to see him bopping on the sidelines. I once said to him that he must be extremely proud of what he had done. He agreed but said he was even prouder of what he had not done. A great man who will be missed by me and many others." and Rehearsals/Opening Gala for Paul's Ocean's Kingdom
oh I didn't realize none of you had seen it yet they probably released it in the US first because scorsese is american and so are the production companies. they could have had a deal with HBO or something [editline]8th October 2011[/editline] well just know that it's really good and really long, but it doesn't ever feel like it's not moving fast enough. it never dwells on anything too long, but it doesn't feel like it's too brief either. its very well made and you should be excited to see it!

It's also 3 hours+ and it was glorious.

so I'm going to a costume party in a couple of weeks and I've decided to dress up John Lennon, only thing is, I barely knew what clothes he used to wear. I know he had a war vest that he wore on stage but I don't know about what pants he used to wear. I will also have to get some nice glasses.
Depends on what era of John Lennon you want. Mop tops, MMT, beards-galore, or post-Beatles John. I'm sure there's more lol.
So I watched a video on youtube when he has his green military shirt and white pants, so I think I'll go with that. Automerge Yeah, I'm going with the most known one with long curly hair and round glasses
I like this version of him next to the moptop John: His 1972 concert at Madison Square Garden.
Yeah, something like that, sturdy green shirt with some white chinos and a soft shirt under the green one. With some glasses and possibly wig.
For one day at school during spirit week we had to dress up as a famous person so naturally I styled my hair all wavy and shit, wore a denim jacket and wore a New York City t-shirt and went as John from the NYC photoshoot. But I agree, I really liked John's look at Madison Square. I want that shirt.
9th in Sweden Happy Birthday John, may your music and thoughts be remembered forever.
Just watched Nowhere Boy It's sad
Happy birthday John!!
Happy Birthday John Lennon!
watching making of Imagine, then Plastic Ono Band. what a man...
watching making of Imagine, then Plastic Ono Band. what a man...
Going to watch Imagine: John Lennon after dinner :3 Really love how a man was living on Johns estate. And John confronted him, had a conversation with him and set him straight and invited him in for some lunch.
Happy birthday John Lennon!
I find it sad that it didn't click that its John's birthday today.
Plastic Ono Band has a real crisp sound to its production. Timeless imo.
paul got married on today of all days...
Typical of him to try and steal Lennon's light.
paul got married on today of all days...
Probably a coincidence...
Paul is marrying yet another woman in order to attempt to replace what he lost with Linda. It's one of those "here we go again" moments.
How many times has he been married anyway?
3 I believe? Linda, that one bitch with a missing limb, and now this girl
Just read on FB that Paul is coming to Sweden the 10th December, how I would love to go and this time I can actually afford it
Just read on FB that Paul is coming to Sweden the 5th September, how I would love to go and this time I can actually afford it
Oh, cool. Where in Sweden?
Ringo better tour America this summer or I'll be sad.
