Oh, cool. Where in Sweden?
Ericson Globe, Stockholm And I just decided with a friend that we would go, all I need to do know is ask one of my fathers friends if I can stay there over the weekend and I'll have a memory for life!

I only live like a hour away :v:
My friend's dad was in a band back in the 80's and he has some serious recording equipment, like a 16 track tape recorder, and many synths, etc anyway today we recorded a few songs, and we're going to do some more later. A few of the songs really drew inspiration from the beatles, especially the ones I wrote I'll post them here once we mix a master version
I just found a Venus and Mars lp in a red cross store for less than one dollar and the quality of the vinyl is actually quite decent.
Oh my God I just found this store called Cool and Eclectic and there all these pieces of different music related shit. They had roughly 3 foot tall statues of Jake and Elwood Blue, they had all these drawings of artists (including a portrait of solo John & then another of all the Beatles) among others like Hendrix and Clapton. Then the vinyls :h: They had a copy of Rubber Soul in very good condition for roughly 30 dollars, a couple other Beatles vinyls, some Clapton and his related works (Cream, Blind Faith, etc.), Pink Floyd ones, (THEY HAD ONE OF MEDDLE AND I WANTED IT SO BAD WHY DID I NOT HAVE ANY DOSH ON ME?!) But all in all the store was fucking cool, and I'm looking forward to going back. I want that copy of Rubber Soul and Meddle.

What do you guys think is the Beatles worst song (from their studio releases?) I'd have to say Paperback writer
What do you guys think is the Beatles worst song (from their studio releases?) I'd have to say Paperback writer
That's one of my favorite Beatles songs. :c
What do you guys think is the Beatles worst song (from their studio releases?) I'd have to say Paperback writer
Everyone really dislikes Revolution 9, but I like it. Maybe cause its just a clusterfuck of a song.
Revolution 9 is a really good example of Musique Concrete. It's a great experience, and those who can't find themselves to enjoy that kind of stuff aren't digging deep enough.
What do you guys think is the Beatles worst song (from their studio releases?) I'd have to say Paperback writer
Wild Honey Pie
I thought Wild Honey Pie was some really nice "Freak Experimental Rock". I'd have to say this: Sorry for it being a George song, but I blame the production. They had no choice but to CRAM everything in the middle and have his voice+handclaps on the sides.
God damn it! My copy of Living in the Material world has still not arrived, they said it would be here Monday/Tuesday.. It is almost Friday and I hope it arrives, I have been waiting months for this. [editline]14th of October[/editline] I was quite unclear. I was meaning the Martin Scorsese documentary and not the Harrison album.

I really want Cloud 9 and or 33 and 1/3...

So the guy I was going to go to the Paul McCartney concert said it was full booked. I can not express the rage I am feeling right now.
I like this version of him next to the moptop John: His 1972 concert at Madison Square Garden.
I know I'm a couple of pages late... But that 'We'll get it right next time' got to me. Probably because this would have been one of John's last concerts, if not his last.
Probably because this would have been one of John's last concerts, if not his last.
His last performance was with Elton John. But there's no damn footage of it.

It would've been amazing. Elton looked like he was having soooo much fun.
watched the Living In The Material World doc yesterday. So good. Some parts were tear-jerkers but mostly happy stuff. Well made too.
My copy was surposed to be here a week ago. :smith: Still not arrived.
My copy was surposed to be here a week ago. :smith: Still not arrived.
It is an awesome documentary. It's not as good as the Bob Dylan one he did, but still a damn good 3 and a half hours.
I picked up a remastered copy of "1" from Starbucks yesterday. It sounds great.
