useless if you have no context which he'd have to watch the whole series to obtain

Not necessarily. A lot of the episode relies on the plight of the other characters besides the main cast.

:smith: Don't remind me of that movie.
Crash.
Toy Story 3 made me cry. And it's an amazing movie.
The Land Before Time
Fox and the Hound
Brokeback Mountain
Up
Watch Hereafter by Clint Eastwood. Only movie that ever made me fucking tear up, tried so hard not to. It was the saddest movie I have ever seen.
Titanic? personally I didn't find it sad but other people do

Very good movie. Shame the mainstream didn't bottle up and watch it for what it was.
observe and report
Closest I've ever come to crying at a film is World's Greatest Dad
seriously. give it a watch. deadpan/sad robin williams and written by bobcat.
The Thin Red Line is pretty good.
This is the only film that's made me cry.
Watched Grave of the Fireflies. Horrendously sad. It just draws the energy out of you.
observe and report
That movie is psychotic
but also good.
Enemy at the Gates was pretty sad.
The movie 50/50 almost made me cry.

The only part that I found sad is how downtrodden Robin's character gets. The kid is a jerk, not that that justifies [sp]his death[/sp], but it didn't make me feel bad at all. And then when Robin [sp] fakes all those things[/sp] I didn't feel anything.
It was an alright movie, but sad? No. At least not in my opinion.

It was sad, but I wasn't brought to tears mainly because [sp]Witt was accepting of his death[/sp].

Dude, different personalities find different things sad.
When Rob gets nude and jumps in the pool, he probably finds it so moving that he cried. Nothing wrong with that. :v:
Crash and Babel are both pretty great and moving movies. Made me choke up at least.

Babel is a modern masterpiece, to be honest. Very groundbreaking and relateable.
MOON. Dear lord it's so hopeless.

I too thought it was amazing when I first saw it, don't know why it has such a "low" score in IMD. I really should watch it again. Crash is amazing too and they're pretty similar in that they both have the intertwining stories thing.
Philadelphia.

I never heard of that movie, who is in it? It sounds intriguing, like it has a multilayered story.
