So, how do you make money out of them? Sell the wool and poop?
I love threads like this [editline]6th April 2012[/editline] Anyway, what's the difference between a llama and an alpaca? This has always been a mystery to me.
sure, if your being serious I'll sell you some.
How much would a pair cost? And would it smell like alpaca?

In history, Llamas were used as herd guards. Alpacas are more afraid and docile.
How much would a pair cost? And would it smell like alpaca?
25$ a pair and no it is cleaned and what not. the socks are good for the winter. if you are seriously interested PM me. 25$ plus shipping. (I get 20% finders fee from my parents)
I've heard alpaca wool keeps you warmer than sheep's wool.

How much $ would 5 pairs of Alpaca Socks, shipped to The Hague, cost?
125$ plus shipping
125$ plus shipping
Holy hell, how much would the shipping cost?
no clue... [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] the reason it is 25 a pair is because it cost about 200$ an alpaca to shear so we have to turn a profit somehow. most of the money goes back into the farm anyways.

Alpaca's are awesome, they look all funny and stuff. Perhaps in a month or two I will be able to afford it.

now introducing FacePunch member discount, 5$ off each pair of socks!
it cost about 200$ an alpaca to shear so we have to turn a profit somehow.
I'm guessing you send the fur away to be made into clothing,or do you make it yourself?
