It costs $200 to shave this alpaca... FOR 12 SECONDS
that's an estimated price and me being optimistic it could be ALLOT more than that, plus you have to hire specially trained people to do it so you don't destroy the fiber.

How much land do you have? How much does it cost to feed them ect ect... What are your cost for say one month? I'd like to have my own farm at some point... What foods do they eat? do you mix it up from time to time? What is done with all that poop? you said you sell it? Do they like spending time with humans? How tall are they? Fenceing.. how tall should it be and is it electric? Even if you dont eat em...any idea what they taste like? Also tilt your phone next time... it should make it wide
How much land do you have? How much does it cost to feed them ect ect... What are your cost for say one month?
17 Acres and 7 alpacas per acre so as of now we only use up 2 1/2 acres of our 17.5 acre property and we spend... per month...hmm the only cost on a monthly basis is water usage and every few months we buy hay and feed.
What foods do they eat? do you mix it up from time to time?
we give them second cut hay and this pelleted feed that gives them all the essential vitamins and what not and the grass they graze on.
What is done with all that poop? you said you sell it?] we have it in a huge pile in the back...Ill post a picture in a few minutes yeah we sell it

Do they like spending time with humans?
sometimes...it depends on if you have feed in your hands ;) ha ha
How tall are they?
the tallest one comes just a few inches higher then me at head height
Fenceing.. how tall should it be and is it electric?
6 foot metal fencing non electrified
Even if you dont eat em...any idea what they taste like?
err...no I wouldn't have a clue ha ha also yeah I realized that today I'll record another video tomorrow [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] I thought it would make a good picture... [editline]7th April 2012[/editline]
Can I ride one?
I can not even begin to count the number of times someone has asked me that question...and I am not sure...
...I don't like alpacas. They scare me.
also as for the socks and clothes stuff, we will be shearing them in the next couple weeks and then I can start selling
how do you plan to make the socks and clothes etc.? do any of your family know how to spin and then make the items, or will you have to pay someone to make them for you?
dude that poop looks like it could be made into diamonds. is it actually valuable, by the way?
