Really, most things looked cooler when they were older.

The one on the left is more advanced.
I just had a massive nostalgia flashback thanks to this thread. :3:
10 more years cannot wait!

I'll have to disagree with you regarding aircraft.

This sentence only makes sense if things get newer over time.
Graphics seem to have hit a roadblock at Crysis however, it just seems every company is concerned with shoving more bloom and brown into their games instead of either pushing technology to the limit, or actually bothering to make an art style.

Hahaha, I was just about to say the same thing.
Had to think about it for a few seconds.
I don't know, newer technology looks cooler than older to me, but I think this wont last for long, I mean look at new cars, shit is getting ridiculous.

Things like cars have become too monotonous.
People build shit in their garage out of scrap parts and lawnmower engines with more character than modern cars.

That's mostly production limitations.
Oh I almost forgot:

We have a good future lined up.
I can't wait for this whole quantum computing thing to become an affordable computer. I also can't wait until we can turn anti matter into energy.
Also when we prove global warming is just another bullshit scheme to get tax money I can die happy.

I'm afraid you'll be waiting a long time for that second one, sport.

Technology needs to move even fast :smug:
Doesn't computer technology increase exponentially every 2 years or something?
It's pretty amazing when you think about how far we've advanced in ten years.

The number of transistors in a motherboard has doubled each year since 1970, and it was about 1200 even then.
edit: wait that can't be right, that would mean the average number of transistors in a modern mobo is 1,319,413,953,331,200
