Where are your Rotas? :(
Hibernating for the winter
Just drove 600km to pick up a friend so that he can come to a con.
He lives somewhere with absolutely no light pollution other than the moon, so we took some random as pictures

It's a season, not a thing.
And this is what I spent my 10 000th post on.

Edit in Beetle pics to make up for it
I didn't wanna risk putting 2500 miles onto those darn imported tires.. and the winter tires absorb bumps better. But man does it suck having them off :(
On that note it's kinda halfass snowing here tonight in WI.. so I guess maybe it's time?
I'm leaving one in my room to keep me genki all winter long.

I actually like these, they aren't the typical fender hashes.

It's a really really long shutter time
Woooww that first picture is amazing, how do you do that? Are you into photography?
That stuff is easy, just a 30 sec exposure with a camera on a tripod. Then you can paint the air with some lights.

As said above, ~30 second shutter, high ISO.
Yes I'm fairly into photography, one of my biggest hobbies after all.

How do you avoid the shake from pressing the button? That was my biggest problem with a long exposure.
self timer
self timer
I've seen some even have seperate remote buttons
I have a remote, but I left it in the car and the self timer was the easiest option
IIRC my canon had a 2s self timer mode probably made for such things
Got the Slaab cleaned, looks pretty great now. Though of course the day after I did the city decides to come and cut down the tree in front of my house, completely covering it in sawdust. :v:

Pretty much like the other guys said; use the 2 second timer.
