So I bought an MR2 for $300 dollars, needs some work. Gonna pull out the engine and put all new gaskets in it, seeing as the head is already off.

I like this body style more then the t-top, but who wouldn't agree?

I'm also gonna swap the engine, the one it has right now is a piece of crap.

I want to paint it like the 70' Nova from deathproof after I am done with the mechanical stuff. Opinions?

But in all seriousness, The paint and vinyl would be fun. I'm not sure anyone would get the reference though. I could see if you put a cutout of rose mcgowan with a machine gun leg on the hood because that was a far superior movie...

But also, isn't there supposed to be a screaming chicken vinyl on the hood?

I barely even like deathproof, I just like the paintjob. I agree, Planet Terror was better.

Heres the hood piece btw, and yes I would get one. They sell them at my local o'reilly auto store.

The only other paintjob I would consider is the smokey and the bandit trans-am, but it would cost a lot more and I mostly wanted one so I could do the flat black paint, and put my 383 in.

I used to have a mid 70s mustang which had the 383, the back end got smashed. It still ran, but the body was bent.

Also If I was gonna own a mustang it was gonna be a 65.

I hated death proof:

Because the previews before it came out looked like the driver and his car had some weird magical power where he just couldn't die or get hurt if he was in his car and the car couldn't get damaged - and used that to his advantage to be the hero.

Reality: Hillbilly uses vehicular homicide to kill drunk girls. wtf...

Planet terror was superior. I still watch it at least once a year because Rose Mcgowan. Well, Rose Mcgowan pre face surgery fuckup... Also they acknowledged that there was no plot by cleverly removing anything that would seem important or made sense. Also liked watching special features to realize that whenever someone punches their open palm, or makes a cut motion with their hand, the film cuts and stumbles. Little things like that made it interesting to watch over and over.

For the smokey and bandit paintjob, you'll still need a screaming chicken. He had a gold screaming chicken I think? Yours would be red or black on a white car.

More to come. Just purchased a gasket set, alternator (the one I have is locked up), and a timing belt, gonna pull the block and put the puppy together this weekend. Plan on having it running by then end of the month/beginning of next month.

Well, then you would know that high ISO is a huge nono.

If you're trying to take a long exposure photo, avoid high ISO as much as possible. 50 to 300 is acceptable.

Getting the stars in it was a must for what we had though, unfortunately the moon was causing the stars to not be as visible as I would've liked, and I hate the blurry look of stars over a 30 second exposure.
