I don't like the ls1. They're uninspired lumps of pig iron and pushrods. Give me a Coyote any day. I mean the ls1 is okay, but it's been shoved into so many things that they've gotten a little boring. Everyone and their dog has an ls1 swap Miata or 300zx or 32 Ford. Nowadays it's rarer to see a Ford engine in a '32 ford than a Chevy one. I, for one, applaud the idea of a jap v8 going into a jap car. As bizarre as it sounds it's way more unique than an American V8 in a jap car.
Good luck finding a Coyote with a full harness in a junkyard car.
nothing wrong with the ls1, if I could get a full 240sx ls1 swap with a guarantee that it will be running for under $3000 id probably go that route, but you cant. didnt want to start an argument, I was just confused how the vh was meh it costs around 10k if anybody was wondering, numbers arent perfect but it is a decent estimate. Everyone swaps the ls1 because its so god damn compact while having huge displacement. they're also aluminum.
Ford engines shoot spark plugs.
You mean they have 8 spark plug guns of POWER! But anyways isn't the main appeal of the LS1 that it's light and has a huge displacement and acceptable power and, most importantly, it's got a really simple wiring harness? That's why nobody uses mod motors for custom swaps. Too complicated and they require too much money to make good power.
I can get an LS1 swap so easy here though. Old Camaro's for like $1-2K with an MT trans. Take the heart and junk the rest. But it's almost stupid because the Japs don't even use LS1. They just tune the turbo 4 cyl they have just a tad so it's balanced and throw their cars around corners. Same power with much less displacement.

[editline]15th October 2014[/editline] also, it looks like a honda logo!!!!
...Seriously?
...Seriously?
Yeah, I spend some time calculating the easiest route from mid USA to Denmark. You're welcome. [t]http://i.imgur.com/VduLUGO.png[/t]
Sweet, I'm about 700 km away from you, I'll be there in a couple weeks.

Cheap, readily available, light, high power, and compact. There simply isn't a much better option for an N/A, cost effective powerplant.

Everybody knows that my scoob is actually the best [t]http://puu.sh/ce84S.jpg[/t] Now with wind deflectors
That thing is awesome.
Everybody knows that my scoob is actually the best [t]http://puu.sh/ce84S.jpg[/t] Now with wind deflectors
I really, REALLY wish I could find a Kei van around here, I want to join this exclusive and adorable club!
Heh, I don't regret buying it even if it did quite empty my wallet and blow my winter car budget by quite a lot :v: I've done a service to it, changed the cam belt (since I had no idea when that was done last, if it had been done at all since it was new), welded up an exhaust leak and all that's left is figure out what's leaking in the front (sometimes it makes small puddles of some fluid when I park but when I smell it, it just smells like and feels like water, so it's not brake fluid, I'm not losing coolant and it's not washer fluid, and then I don't really have any more fluids in the front that I know of...) and a rubber seal around the rear left axle that goes directly in the gearbox that leaks a tiny bit of oil so when I drive it pretty far and stop, it'll start smelling burnt oil since the oil drips backwards onto the exhaust...
tankman and I know one another
Ohhhhhhh. OK. Well then I'll reduce my rating to artist. Carry on.

Their business is to make sure this vehicle gets to your door with the least possible effort from you legally possible. One of them even used to work for Motorex importing the skylines back when. http://www.importavehicle.com/ https://www.facebook.com/importavehicle All you gotta do is pick out something and write them a check. They import cool stuff too. Could be condesation, either a drain from...somewhere? Or...?
Does it have A/C and do you use it..?
I thought of that, but i thought it was rear engined. I could be wrong though. :v:
Yeah almost positive it was, still the heater core and evap core would need to be in the front. The only exception to that is an aircooled bug with it's silly exhaust heated heater or whatever they are.
If you can't find out what it is by touching and smelling, taste it
I actually did, just tok a drop on my finger and tapped my tongue on it. No taste whatsoever. My guess is that water builds up somewhere and runs over after a while maybe. Like a draining hole that might be clogged with shit
It is rear engined, and doesn't have AC [editline]16th October 2014[/editline] I was on the previous page, didn't remember this page |: [editline]16th October 2014[/editline] And yeah the radiator is between the front wheels
Got a new car yesterday. It was almost sad letting my 2002 Honda go. I've had it for so many years that once I test drove a few cars, I had to get a new one. Not only that but the Honda was on its final stretch, and it would cost more to repair everything than what it's worth. Here's a pic from a while back. So I traded it in for a grand and put it towards a 2015 Ford Fiesta SE. And I can say that I feel like the happiest guy in the world driving it around. It's such a big leap from what I was driving.
I'm about to do almost the same thing, sold my 2003 Vauxhall Corsa today. Then paid my deposit on a 2013 Ford Fiesta (They're hatchbacks here however), can't wait to pick her up
