I feel a little short changed here :(
you feel short changed because the car your parents bought you isnt good enough?
You supposed to get a stingray or something for your first car?
I got a 240z [editline]19th October 2014[/editline] but i paid for it
I feel a little short changed here :(
You shouldn't, at least they bought you a car. I was promised a 8 year old car with 80000 miles on it, I now drive a car with 176k that is 30 years old that I payed for using a whole summers worth of shoveling horse shit, and I don't even feel close to shortchanged.

My first car cost $850, which I learned my parents took out of my savings account earlier in the day. I'd love to post a pic, but all of them are on CarDomain, which doesn't work on any browser.
My first car was $300, and i had to get a locksmith to make me a key. It got me my license though
My first car was $300, and i had to get a locksmith to make me a key. It got me my license though
Damn you did good, mine cost me $2200 and a few cubic feet of driveway rocks
It was a pos, holes in the floor, no muffler, oil leaks, the po was a dumbass and tried to pour oil in the enginw while it was hot without a funnel and caught it on fire. It was sssssslllooooooow too. 2.5l chrysler 4 cyl with a 3 speed auto. I dont think I ever got it past 75mph :v:
My first attempt at using car wax, also do you guys think I should tint its windows? [t]http://i.imgur.com/YqM9f3D.jpg[/t]
My first attempt at using car wax, also do you guys think I should tint its windows? [t]http://i.imgur.com/YqM9f3D.jpg[/t]
Totally. Tint em up, but only with that sweet chrome fading to black tint. ALso you are missing the snickers advertisement on the side and jack er up on some twunyfos'. Also generic "alteza lights are only cool on altezas and ls900" comment.
you feel short changed because the car your parents bought you isnt good enough?
You what mate? I bought it myself with my own funds, my parents don't give me a dime. Hence the reference that my mother has two expensive cars (one of which she doesn't actually drive), yet rather than being allowed to drive one I had to buy my own :v:
You shouldn't, at least they bought you a car. Yeah, her cars are her cars. They're also ridiculously expensive cars, with a lot of power. Letting a 17 year old drive either one of them would be mad. And the insurance might say that no one under 23 or 24 year old may drive it too.
I paid for it
Well my apologies but you came across as a spoiled rich kid whose parents give the world. Be grateful for what you have, and if you're dissatisfied then you should have bought something else with your money. Your mom and/or the insurance company may have many reasons for not letting you drive those, hell my parents had issues with me getting a V8 anything cause of the V8, and my car doesn't even make 200 horses.
you feel short changed because the car your parents bought you isnt good enough?
lmao this subforum i swear
We try. We really do.
I still dont get how you feel short changed because you bought it yourself? my parents don't give me money and they drive new cars. feeling short changed would mean that you feel that you deserve more.
I used the wrong phrase, didn't mean that. And if anything I was being sarcastic.
Yeah, her cars are her cars. They're also ridiculously expensive cars, with a lot of power. Letting a 17 year old drive either one of them would be mad. And the insurance might say that no one under 23 or 24 year old may drive it too.
I'm 19 and I have comprehensive insurance allowing me to drive any of them.. I have done in the past for long journeys.
Well my apologies but you came across as a spoiled rich kid whose parents give the world. I was literally just saying that when my mother has two expensive cars, my brother has an Aston Martin V12 Vantage S and an Audi R8, you can't help but feel like the weakest one in the family of cars :v: I'm not complaining, it's just a point. I think it's a great car.
They're just dumb, ignore it and carry on
bahaha yeah me and the 15 others are dumb because we didnt understand his "joke"
bahaha yeah me and the 15 others are dumb because we didnt understand his "joke"
you're just being childish, get over it lol.
bahaha yeah me and the 15 others are dumb because we didnt understand his "joke"
no need to be a dick bro [editline]20th October 2014[/editline] I own a nice car, why can't he aspire to own one? My first car was my 300CE that my dad gave me, it was a steaming pile of shit.
I bought a Commonwhore for five hunned bucks [t]http://i.imgur.com/1XZBd4n.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/YlMQUqU.jpg[/t] With an interesting history! [t]http://i.imgur.com/py3ZjtZ.png[/t] I'm now yet another FP'er who owns an ex-copper  (And yes it is an ex-copper, the VIN matches up) It'd be perfect if it had the supercharged l67
That's a terrible name. Is it legal to sign as a job title?
That's a terrible name. Is it legal to sign as a job title?
Doesnt belong to the person belongs to the job title, new comissioner owns it when old one retires
Makes sense. Here the vehicles belong to the police department, but I think they're rarely sold.
