Long time no post. Like I said (long time) before, I like lights.
So my bmw is ready for the winter with more lights.

Spotlights make everything cooler
I get the general idea about spot lights... That you drive in really rural places and stuff and don't wanna hit a moose.
But I find it easier to use low-beams only in the middle of the night. And I have to use Hi-beams at (twilight?) were the sun still is emitting light to your location but its clearly past the horizon.
So.... Why more light's = good even tho they will fucking murder your eyes they get reflected back at you from lets say.... a street sign.
Using only your low-beams at night is really dangerous, especially if you're still going highway speeds. The point of the extra lights is that they reach much further, giving you more precious time to react should something happen in front of you. As for the 4+ lights, the outer ones can be pointed outwards, lighting up the side of the road as well as the road itself (practical if your area doesn't have mandatory traffic courses for deer/reindeer/etc)
Why is it on ebay?
Not actually on Ebay, its on Kijiji and because I just bought it, but I have to pick it up.

In Malaysia we had to restrict spotlights to only two per car and mouted on the roof. Even with that its only permitted with a valid reason "offroad, rally etc, etc."
Because there are too many goddamn dumbfucks who think its a good idea to turn on all their fucking spotlights in a lit up road at night blinding like half the city.

LOOK GUYS I HAVE A PORTIBLE SUN
Everyone here has HID foglights and they turn them on with their HID headlights. I don't have a problem with HIDs, but no one seems to know how to properly aim their god damn headlights.
That seems to be a growing problem here too, everyone thinks it's ok to put HIDs in standard housings and all it does is blind other drivers.
Projectors + HIDs = ok
Projectors + normal bulbs = ok
Standard housings + HIDs = NOT FUCKING OK
Plus the "blue cuz it's cool" thing gets on my nerves, I love blue, but holy shit people please try to keep the things that let you see at night at a decent color temperature. Blue just filters out part of the color spectrum that you kinda just NEED ya know?
I have projector fog lights too.
But they are so badly rock chipped they will reflect light worse that a standard housing if you put hids in them....
Or melt entirely. Dunno alwase wanted to put a 15w kit in them for giggles.

Blue fucking sucks, its the one of the shortest spectral wavelengths of light that we can see, violet is even shorter and even more irritating. This makes blue light more irritating to the eyes than white or yellow light, also blue light can ruin your night vision more readily.

If it's just an oncoming HID car and me, I flash my highbeams at them.
Maybe someday they'll get the message and ditch the fucking deathray headlights.
HIDs/Xenon are fucking awesome. Especially if they turn with the wheel. I really want them on the Saab.

My poor little A3... This is what happends when someone drives out infront of you.
Jesus that sucks, they didn't fault you for it too did they?
Good thing the damage isn't too bad. The frame doesn't look to be hit, just the fender and front grill bits.
Anything else under could probably be pulled out.
How's the tire and control arms? Do they look bend or askew?
Jesus that sucks, they didn't fault you for it too did they?
He tried to at first, asked if i was looking at my iphone while i was driving, but he changed to ''i thought you were further away''. Now i hope he doesnt make up anything to the insurance company that makes me at fault, because in that case i wont get a penny, I will fight him in that case, luckily i have a witness.

Unfortunetly the car is non driveable, and it will go to the scrapyard, I need to look for a new car entirely.
The insurance company told you that didn't they? 99 times out of 100, they will just mark it as a total loss just so they don't have to pay out. I work with a guy who drives a tow truck for a living and fix computers for a lady who sells insurance, I've seen it all to many times.
But if you say it won't move, I'll assume that the wheel is pushed back and the frame is bent so it very well could be a total loss/not worth the cost to fix.
Yeah the cost for repair would exceed the value of the car so its not worth it unfortunetly.
Gotta find me a new Audi!

Trust me. She ded.
Bent the "frame" bar going to the bumper = unibody damage.
SHE DED JIM
Yes she can be repaired if it did not come close to any of the suspension shit. If it did... well she super ded.

It's not blue. It's White.
I find it now easier to see with someone with OEM HID's, because they are aimed properly and the cut off's are sooo much better on the eyes. Granted you have to look away when they hit a rough spot in the road but w.e
OEM HID's are awesome end of story.
Aftermarket HID's are awesome only when put in projector housings and aimed correctly.
OEM Auto Turning + Auto Leveling HID's will make you cum buckets.

Game over man. Now I see that, that's way beyond cost and car value.

Indeed but then again theirs nothing you can do to regular 6"rounds. You can either go full rice, projector inside, or stock.
Theirs not a very good selection for aftermarket rounds.
He'll most headlights and tails are generally in the rice area, only good ones are were they take the oem look and put leds in it.

No no no no no no no
You change that avatar back to that bicycle riding oriental woman.
You can have no other avatar. If you don't comply, I may have to learn scripting and replace it myself!
