Grammar Nazis seem to think they're higher above people that don't care about grammar/spelling.
Read books. Anything. I started off reading The Chronicles of Narnia and my vocabulary has increased tenfold :D Just read, immerse yourself in the books and enjoy it. Over time, you'll slowly start to pick up grammar, and you'll sound smarter too in interviews when you use the words ;D

op is complaining because of random people's poor grammar.
he (nor anybody in this thread, probably) doesn't need to know how to improve it, obviously.
interviews? wat.
Thread of the millennium. I can't stand people that butcher the English language because it "looks cool".

Damn.. because it "looks cool". I'm not from England, or anything. But I like this language. I prefer it over my own mother language. (Which is finnish)
I think it's cool language really. But I'm not butchering it am I?

hahahahaha this is the funniest post ive read in like 10 years
My typing has really slipped recently, I don't proof read anymore. I blame that on the fact that we no longer have smartness here.
But yeah I agree, my spelling in IRCs, messengers and in games is awful because I'm trying to get it done quickly to prevent me dieing or just to get the point across, but in forum I try to keep it to a presentable level.

I actually found when I was younger all the words I picked up that no-one used was because of video games like Pokemon and Advance wars.
who posts to look cool?
I hate it when people have the correct contraction in their first sentence, and then a wrong one in the next. It doesn't make any sense.
bloody riff raff scones and tea

I hate when you're typing fast and you make a typo like accidentally putting an apostrophe between a word's singular root and the "s".
Like when you're trying to say, "I just killed seven aliens", it comes out as "I just killed seven alien's".
That saddens me.

Then who was phone?
In my opinion, it's not the misspelling itself that causes so much annoyance, but what it says about the person typing it. What I mean is, if someone repeatedly uses "your" instead of "you're" on a message board like this, I get the message that they're either just grammatically challenged or just too lazy to go over and look at what they just typed. And laziness is generally not a good thing so we just have a negative image of the person who typed it.
Or I just completely overthought this and typing errors alone just simply make people irritated.
I hate it when people say 'I could care less'
IT'S 'I COULDN'T CARE LESS' FOOLS.
Also, when people say 'Me either' instead of 'Me neither'
As well as the things already mentioned, I have one tiny thing which bothers me greatly.
That thing is the words 'sadly' and 'luckily', words used by those with tiny vocabularies in the place on 'Unfortunately' and 'fortunately'.
This might help such people: http://thesaurus.reference.com/
However, I've stopped pointing out people's mistakes quite as often because I've been banned from 3 Steam groups for it (Bloody hammer-happy admins).
In addition, text speak is for use in texts, if at all. If you don't have limited space, you shouldn't have to have a limited brain usage. If you DO have limited space, just condense your ramblings into something shorter.
While writing a report on some task or another last year, the person beside me had honestly written 'I think I done good because..."
