It's this thought that inspires a lot of my photos (besides some of the band photos, which I take for the sake of the person in the band who's photo I'm taking, yet at the same time it plays into... ). The idea of "the feeling of this moment in particular is nice, so I want to somehow capture that"
When I was much younger, and much less creative, I used to spend all day with my Motorola Razr flip phone trying to take 'cool' photos. I would give myself challenges like 'take this lazer pointer and take a good ~lazery~ photo' which i would always ace. Yet, the challenge I always was stumped by was the 'take a photo of this feel' challenge. I think started with something stupid like skateboarding with friends and trying to take a super sk6brder photo, or playing counter strike with a monster energy drink and text from a hot girl vibrating on my phone and trying to take a 1337 gamer photo.

Also, I remember a specific tip I had: If you use an external flash (old film disposable camera from a garage sale) you could change the thumbnail of the photo on most flip camera's to hide what the photo entail'd. If you timed the flash right, there was a de-sync between the thumbnail and the actual photo for some reason. So you could either have a detailed image that opened to a blank white image, or you could have an image that didnt entail what was inside by the thumbnail. I finally bought my own lens! it's a little canon 40mm. I went into the public gardens yesterday for mother's day to test it out and took a bunch of photos. I also borrowed my friend's 70-300mm just to try, it was super fun.

I find myself drawn to these two for very different reasons. I think the first one really captures that awe of nature vibe.
i think that second one of the guy sitting could have a little more saturation in the skin tones though! a lil warmer maybe
