I had the motherfucker for about 5 seconds before he blasted his horn and scared the shit out of me. :v: quite tired of taking pictures of things, but I don't have the slightest clue about how to take pictures of people.

I particularily like this photo I took of the german Reichstag (the Parliament building): [t]http://i.imgur.com/8uY0lYz.jpg[/t] I like it because the building is so massive that it fills out the entire image easily while still having a lot of details in it. Here is another one from really far away. I wanted to get the entire cupole on it aswell, but I would have to walk even further away. Since I was travelling with a group, I didn't want to make them wait too long for me, so I was content with this one: [t]http://i.imgur.com/LZrZmX2.jpg[/t] I did some basic color temperature adjustment and rotated and cropped the image a little bit. Any criticism?

Any criticism?
In my opinion, they both have issues regarding subject. Obviously you intended the subject to be the building itself, but the nature of buildings like the Reichstag (countless details) is that there is nothing to focus on. This is an issue with classical architecture, many public art installations, well-known monuments, etc., and is present in multiple orders in your second photo: not only are there busy building details, there are also distracting elements in the foreground that detract from what you wanted the subject to be. The truth is, it's just difficult to make interesting photos out of things like this. But again, that's just my opinion. And I just posted a photo of a transmission shop and dollar store so who knows. :v:
What do you guys think of the subtle red/blue split toning in the pic with the guy on the bench and the one of the old man? I like it but I've never had any feedback
I don't know what a split toning is but I'm assuming you're talking about the only color one. Since everything in that photo looks so vibrant and well-exposed, it sort of has the auto HDR effect to me. But I do like the portraits, I wish I had even one photo like that! Not too keen on the guy laying on the bench, though.

The second one would have looked better as a vert I reckon, there's a whole lot of geometry in the picture that would lend itself to it, plus you could have fit the whole cupole in
I don't know what a split toning is but I'm assuming you're talking about the only color one. He was just an incredibly vibrant man haha Split toning is where you colour the shadows and highlights of a picture. I did it to a couple of the black and white ones, so the shadows are a little bit red and the highlights a little bit blue. Its most obvious in the one of the guy on the bench. What is it that puts you off that one?

Ok, here it goes. Fuji Superia 200 and Rollei RPX-100. [t]http://i.imgur.com/QGGXZDA.jpg[/t] Had to fix the colors a tiny-tiny bit in Photoshop here, but I really like how it came out. Shame about the quality of the scan though. [t]http://i.imgur.com/90OAMWQ.jpg[/t] I really love this one, even though I'm a bit bummed that I was using B/W film. The guy with the hammer would've stood out and now he's a bit lost in the scenery. (Funnily enough, he only started working after he saw me) [t]http://i.imgur.com/ar38cpd.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/q1iefs2.jpg[/t] As far as minimalism goes, this building is the best shot I've produced. Really proud of it. I'd love to hear what you think of these.
shooting Stig of the dump (UK hiphop artist) while recording his video, Never really done anything like this so any cc would be appreciated, I can't remember what else you wanted to give context etc for cc
Personally I'd try to stick with colour photography when shooting a hip hop artist since hip hop is know for it's colourful clothing and art work, unless Stig insists on BnW images.
I had a dream tonight. I dreamt that my town was extremely foggy, and I was taking pictures around in it. I still remember those photographs, and I remember doing stuff like composing the pictures and switching to specific lenses. Eventually, the fog slowly started to clear, and a rainbow started forming. The sun started showing up, and it started emitting rainbow colored rays (just like rainbows except they didn't work the way they should) with this peculiar and heavy optical lensing effect around it, eventually it cleared. Now, my camera of course had "jammed" during this quite spectacular show of light. Maybe the shutter had finally bit the dust. Then Cuthulhu appeared. From the sun. I fiddled with my camera. Yes, the shutter is working again. I switch to my Sigma 150-500. I shoot portraits of Cuthulhu. He hasn't noticed me. I remember the very strange texture of his skin, and the odd hairs that surrounded him. Then I wake up in this sweaty piece of shit leather sofa with no pictures of Cuthulhu on my camera.
