btw, I think about starting a whole thread of my photos during my time at the IDF seeing as Facepunch loves discussing Israeli politics.
Would any of you be interested? I'm trying to be as objective as much as I can.

From your post I thought you wanted to do it because "FP loves discussing Israeli politics", so you wanted to discuss politics as well as show the photos.
No no, I pointed out that FP has a certain fetish for Israeli politics so an Israel-Palestinian conflict photos would interest ya'll.
i think threads in the photo forum about ur photos should be for completed projects, like the one where that dude took strangers' photos on the street or w/e, rather than ongoing/continuous projects like your one
i'd rather see it in this thread, you could tag them on your flickr or w/e if you want to organize them in one place
