Also it's been a dream of mine to take pictures of someone amish or dressed amish-esque doing some sick kickflips.

I can see them now, I assume everyone else can as well. I would say to keep doing exactly what you are doing now, it's really an incredible set with a bunch of strong images. Excellent work!

I wanna see more of this setting, reminds me of home, though I think it relies too much on the vanishing point thing you've got going on.

On the other hand, I'm glad I was able to evoke a feeling! I'll try to shoot more on this setting. The CineLook setting is really great, you can play with the white balance and make really unique colors.

tbh, I'm kinda empty of ideas atm and looking forward to a vacation. Although, I am pretty happy how these pictures turned out, both composition and processing-wise. I guess I'll have to start taking pictures of my friends painting walls or random documenting shots of my night out instead.

Because I want real feedback, not "I don't like your shots" and such. Tell me what I can do better composition wise and processing-wise.
we're well past the point quality-wise where that is something someone else can easily tell

To give an example of your shots that I like and would love to see more of is [url=https://secure.flickr.com/photos/75295193@N05/14387511931][b]this[/b][/url] and [url=https://secure.flickr.com/photos/75295193@N05/13490162563][b]this[/b][/url]
the HCB geometry + subject style photography is nice now and then but it gets boring really fast, main reason why I've started to use wider angle lenses and get closer to my subject
plus, his critique was valid as any other, it was about your choice of subject. you're well past the point where you know how to compose a subject and hit with the right exposure and pp (for subjects like the ones you've recently been shooting), so the only real thing left to critique is the direction you're taking photography in, where you're stagnating and where you're progressing - whether what you produce fits in with what we see as a good photo, and where it doesn't

I see. Well, I'll try something else then. I only have a 35mm on my x-t1 atm so I'm a bit limited angle and wideness wise.. Probs gonna get a 14 or something later.
