hey guys, so a few days ago i posted the photo of the guy with the sax but i was really hung over so i didn't really explain it much.
it was on an amazing night where we saw some really experimental bands who were pretty much all hippies who all gave off a great
vibe all night long.
on the way to the event i saw this and i knew it was going to be a good night.

so to start out the night (7pm) my cousin and i started playing pool and having a few beers while there wasn't many people there.
but after about 45 minutes of being there, people were starting to trickle in.

at about half past 8, the first act started who was a rapper and fairly enjoyable to listen to. at around the same time there were
a fair few people watching the games of pool.

enter the second act. these were the [url=http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1266844&p=45365689&viewfull=1#post45365689]sax guy[/url] and two others. i wasn't a massive fan of their music so i didn't stick around for too long
but i spoke to them later and they seemed like pretty cool guys. their act pretty much lead straight into the third act which was these guys
put simply, they were amazing. they had a perfect mix of reggae and rap with a bit of punk thrown in the middle. i really enjoyed watching
these guys play, and at one point they actually told everyone in the crowd that if they had a joint or anything they should light it up.
i also spotted a fellow photographer in amongst it, never got the chance to speak to him though.

the smell was overwhelming so i ended up going out for a bit of a nibble. right outside the front door there was this guy. the hotdog guy.
this guys hotdogs were like none i have ever tasted before. i dont know if it was the pot or they were just that good but i wolfed down
two of the bastards. i also spotted a beautiful WW1 memorial across the road.

shortly after i had something to eat, the event was winding down so my cousin and i caught up with another friend who's house we were
staying at that night, and by this point i was so wasted that the entire drive looked like this too me.

i would absolutely love any feedback you guys can give me about my photos, and i'm sorry for the large amount of photos but i didn't
think that just a one night event was really worthy of a whole thread.

I would scoot her off to the left a bit in the second one so she's looking into a bit more space, but that's me
I like the last one, it's a lot more real than the others tbh, although the other two probably fit the photos she wanted better

You're faster than me, I haven't developed my BnW roll from Berlin yet

I was in Disney World when I took this, all I had on me was my camera phone but I'm glad I at least had that. This was the coolest sunset I've ever captured and yeah sunsets are kind of an overused subject but I think this one is pretty unique.

This photo was taken back before I had an actual camera so you can see the reflection in the fork of the backside of my phone and part of my hand, my dad says this is his favorite of all time. I don't think it's all that special, opinions?

Again back before I had a professional camera so the graininess factor is a little.. bad.
The fork is easily the most interesting. Abstract, brilliant colors, and the little strings between the tines top it off. Listen to your dad.
Thank you, the strings between the tines are from peaches actually. Partly saliva too I think but yeah, I was eating some peaches when I took this.

I think all those are pretty good, especially with just your camera phone. And tbh, I kinda like the graininess in the last one. Grain can add an extra layer of feel to the picture if you have it or choose to add it. The fork one is really interesting and I'd like to see if you choose to expand on it, you have an eye for it and just see where that takes you!

He's doing fine! It looks like he enjoys his job although he stresses a lot. I'm going back to the school in a few months to use the darkroom and I'll be sure to tell him that you asked :smile:

think this might be sharpened a bit too much?
Is it meant to be focused on his arm instead of his face/the camera?
it's out of focus. no amount of sharpening will save it
