it looks to me like you're just taking long exposures for the sake of it tbh. the sky isn't particularly interesting and the stuff in the foreground isn't too interesting either
I can admit these were taken mostly for the sake of it. I was mostly bugging around with the ISO and other settings to try and capture it without too much noise. (had a better outcome this time as appose to last)
ah well, hopefully i'll be taken a trip to the downs with some friends soon, get a better night sky out there instead of my back garden.

13 days in Gaza Strip, a place I'd like to call the Israeli Afghanistan. A place to urbanely-prepared, fine-tuned for soldiers to step in and lose their lives. Clay-mores, wired-doors, underground tunnels under the entire city, snipers waiting days for us to step in the right alley and get a bullet between our eyes. edit: could have brought the shadows up a little more, though. lighting looks a little too hard for the photo being taken in a well-lit room.

just took a small stroll. this was the only thing i wanted to take a picture of, and it's not even that interesting, if at all.
shooting at night is fun for the challenge, but boring for the subject matter.

What lens did you shoot with?
Canon 50mm f/1.4, which has started going hazy after two years use for some mysterious reason and I'm still learning to deal with it. Edit: And both were taken at 1.4.

I saw that first one on FlickR and I have to say, what on earth is going on with the white shape with the red stripes off the end of the table?? The perspective completely boggles me. Is it horizontal, vertical, or at an angle?

The white part is the wall, just looks funky because of the super wide angle
