Not sure if these are worthy of this particular thread... but I tried to get a bit 'creative' with the sunset using manual exposure settings (still basically brand new to manual exposure, trying to understand what works best and where);

Woo! We need more So-Cal photogs here. Check out Crystal Cove if you want to take another shot at beaches. There's a beautiful state park inland, the beaches are great, and parking is just $15 for all day.
It's right down the coast from Newport and much more photogenic.

There is a really interesting but shocking dividing line in your photostream on flickr. It goes from normal civilian photography to military in one go, no transition, just a sudden change.
