Took this shot for the college newspaper. Really happy with it. :) Teamwork by JulianM. Blarg I would up the exposure a bit, it's a little dark. More whites would be better [editline]11th September 2014[/editline] Look at frag's on the last page, they are spot on in terms of B&W tonal balance.

First time using this laptop to edit photos. They look okay on my laptop screen I think, but a bit over-saturated on my phones screen.
^ they look fine IMO, just don't end up with a Delhi belly plz
if you have a galaxy s3 they fuck with ur colours
most samsung displays on their phones oversaturate stuff. if they have a 'cinema' mode in the display settings, absolutely use it. that's the most colour accurate one most of the time
I think those India photos look perfect, honestly. That being said, most people have their monitors calibrated (intentionally or otherwise) different to everyone else, so it's hard to say from one to the next. From me tonight, I spent a couple of hours walking along the Esplanade down from my work, taking some long exposure shots of the sunset and such in the bay and the river behind it. I'm mostly happy with how these turned out, but I didn't have a tripod so my abilities were limited. The shot of the boats docked in the river mouth were done with me laying across a park bench gripping the camera hard as hell so it wouldn't move during the 15 seconds it was exposing haha. The shots of the boardwalk are from this trail that runs along the beach, from the furthest shot you can see right back to the city. And before you say anything, I very much intended for things to be heavily saturated and colourful, it's what I was going for! It really is something special at night; [t]http://i.minus.com/iW0dmzZAMtIeM.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.minus.com/ibiTOyCtJPoEmK.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.minus.com/iJ4MPz3NAjXF4.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.minus.com/iAoULtUnfGvkz.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.minus.com/ibmTUvZOpo6GuJ.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.minus.com/i7SyKw9AkLiez.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.minus.com/ivVwpycXh6ih6.jpg[/t] :)

Would this sort of stuff be accepted here? why wouldn't it be accepted here? [editline]12th September 2014[/editline] you raise your black levels too much btw. i like the chair photo though but still. don't be afraid to have some more contrast
I don't know, it seems like low quality stuff compared to what everyone has going on here. I understand everyone has to start somewhere, but I know I'll probably never have a deep understanding of photography as per what some others here would. I'll take note on that, though.

These are awesome! My only suggestion would be to use something other than minus, because it's probably the slowest image host that exists right now. Other than that, I really love the mood they set - keep it up!
I know I'll probably never have a deep understanding of photography as per what some others here would.
You get back what you put in. You've got a great start.
??
most of time i've got no idea what the fuck i am doing and just press buttons and pretty stuff comes out. seriously though, my first photographs that i posted here were really really bad, but as long as you put in some time and effort you'll evolve.

Can't wait to play with something full frame and explore with this. I always loved the photos that came out of this camera (especially when bopie had his hands on it :v: ). Thanks again for shipping it to the other side of the US so quickly, dude. Hopefully you'll see more from me in the future in here!
Bought Bopie's camera
No problem man, thank you. It's always trippy seeing a photo from a previous camera in new hands. That thing has witnessed quite a bit.
