For one, the media really skews what the tea party represents and they seem to only care about the outrageous few making sure those people get airtime and paint the party like that. I don't necessarily support them, but being patriotic and standing for the founding principles on which the country is based is certainly a more level headed agenda then telling people how much money they're allowed to make, and "spreading the wealth" for "fairness", as Obama is busy trying to push on the American people. If that's not textbook Socialism, then I don't know what is, and every party is nuts in that case then. If you actually believe Obama is a safer choice compared to people genuinely scared of what the powers that be are busy doing to fundamentally transform the country, then you're part of the problem.
You want textbook socialism? Go read Das Kapital, by Karl Marx. That shit is 4000(and he had another 6000 but he died) pages. Nobody reads him, so all of this "socialism" crap is just a new label. And the country is already transformed. There is no going back to the "old days." They are forever gone. Returning laissez faire capitalism is more of a fundamental change than Obama's policies, which are pretty slow, but progressive(in process). The problem with a lot of these people is that they are idealists and not realists. The needs of the citizens is more important than stupid fantasies. This "founding principles" are fucking strawmen, considering that a large portion of Teabaggers are fundamentalists. They quote Thomas Paine, even though his Agrarian Agenda correlates with Castro's. They only cherrypick their favorite parts from history, but they fail to understand the reality.
I'm just waiting for the day in evolution that leads to the destruction of humanity. It's inevitable, and nothing of value will be lost :downs:
Case and point. How the hell does evolution factor into anything?
Yeah, and a permanent change is not a good permanent solution simply because we're going through "hard times" again. It's part of a cycle, that repeats itself because of one simple element in the equation. Humanity. It's the human element that is the variable and causes this economic problems to occur. And the system cleans itself, and starts again. Seeing how you also referred to the party as "TeaBaggers", you clearly exemplified that you're pretty biased, most likely far left, and unqualified to make an assessment on what's right for the country if you're going to blindly accept what networks like MSNBC or Obama tell you is right for everyone.
Anyone who takes the teabaggers seriously is a damn moron. They make absolutely no sense whatsoever. They want small government and freedom, but they also want a police state that mandates religion.
lol so because I think freely I must watch Fox news, great analysis would read again
And here we observe the most distinguished trait of the natural Republican, the unshakable idea that they are the only ones who think freely, and that everyone must hate them for it. [editline]29th October 2010[/editline]
People individually are very smart, but in a large group it's shown that they are heartless, greedy, and incredibly stupid.
I heartily disagree. I think people are inept on every level in every way, and the sooner we replace ourselves with robots and/or cybernetics the better.
but they also want a police state that mandates religion.
By what means?

You honestly thought starting this thread was a good idea, OP?
By what means?
By means of taking seats in congress and the house of representatives?
I don't see you making an argument. He said patriotism is good, would you disagree with that? Someone trying to "fundamentally transform the United States of America" sounds a bit sketchy to me. Sure you may not agree with him, but at least make some good points.
Arguing with Itchy is like getting in a staring contest with a man with no eyes.
Welp, if this thread is any indication of the future of society, we're fucked. Have a nice life gentlemen, you're going to rot most likely.
uh oh guys watch out

im runnin 4 governor of orlando next year next stop: new world order repent be4 its 2 late
im runnin 4 governor of orlando next year
Keep talking like that and add in the word socialist now and again and you might just win.
I've never really tried to follow politics, as important as I know they are to my future life. Yet, every time I watch or read the news, there's always a story about some politician fucking up in some way that gets his/her ass removed from the seat. Or it's some bill that one party's for and one is wholly against. I just get tired of our government not being able to do jack shit without some type of shit-slinging and bad mouthing to make sure their part is included (for better or worse really). I've always wondered what could become of putting a guy/gal off the street into the President's seat and tell them "You do what you think is right for the country." Of course, you'd have to make sure that someone with that power doesn't use it for personal use, or worse, turn it into a dictatorship. Do I think problems could get solved faster had the people's input mattered more and they had a say in what should happen? Maybe. We'll never know though. Do I think Obama deserves another chance? Possibly. Right now, it's not looking likely if the GOP gets majority.
Welp, if this thread is any indication of the future of society, we're fucked. Have a nice life gentlemen, you're going to rot most likely.
Er, you'd think that rotting is kind of inevitable. Unless you get cremated, I guess.
