There are countless TV shows in German TV right now that ride on the "show stupid people how cheap healthy food is " wave. It really is NOT more expensive to buy ingredients instead of frozen food and cook them.
Problem is, fat people are lazy and have no self control (that's how they got fat) at least some dont want to generalize here
Apart from the ice cream and kebabs I mostly knew all that, my I eat a lot of full English breakfasts and white-bread ham+cheese sandwiches
brb going to Ben&Jerries.
Mmmm the pasta looks sooo tasty.
Yes, of course Ice Cream doesn't make you fat. How could anything consisting of 50% sugar make you fat, right? This is so much bullshit. "Oh but in small doses it can help you lose weight" says the quote below. OF COURSE YOU FUCKING RETARD, THE POINT IS SMALL AMOUNTS It's not the THING ITSELF that makes people fat, it's the AMOUNT THEY EAT! What a smart article. It basically says "eat small amounts" which in connection with western eating habbits equals to "eat less, fatty"
I have a fast metabolism. :smug: Seriously, this is ridiculous. My brother wants to "eat healthier" because "he's fat". He isn't. He eats shit like tofu-burgers and such and it's really annoying. Just eat what the rest of the family eats, just in a bit smaller portions, Goddamnit. Sure, I eat a lot of junk but I eat a lot of healthy food too. You have never met a guy who loves his veggies like me. Substitutes, vegetarianism, and other things are a fucking joke, in my opinion.
Since when were eggs and cheese fattening?
Agreed on all except bread and pasta. [editline]3rd December 2010[/editline] oh and icecream
Food doesn't make you fat. It's lack of self control (and the rare hormonal imbalance) that does. People eat too much and don't exercise enough. They then start trying to shift the blame away from themselves and claim the only logical answer is the food they eat. Sure foods can be prepared with less of these shit ingredients, but in the long run most of these are not going to make you fat or unhealthy if you balance your diet properly and add enough exercise. Not once do people realize that with a bit of self control and portioning meals to maintain a balanced diet will go a long way. [img_thumb]http://shernyworld.com/media/1/20090107-pyramid_portion_size.jpg[/img_thumb] This is a portioned meal. This is prepared with 8 ounces of probably 90 percent lean meat making the entire meal (including vegetables) around 500 Calories. [img_thumb]http://www.toinks.info/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/mcdonalds.jpg[/img_thumb] This is not. This is made with high-fat meat and with the fries and large soda averages more than 1500 Calories. This is more than 3/4ths of a 2000 Calorie diet. This food is also fairly nutritionally void, which is why you feel hungry an hour or so after eating, which will make you eat even more food later on, thus exceeding your daily intake of Calories. In other words, if you eat the proper amount of Calories according to your age, weight, and activity level, you can very well eat McDonald's all day and not get fat. You'd just be sick and tired all the time from not getting all the other required nutrients that McDonald's is devoid of. If you eat healthy, you will be feel sated for longer and less likely to over eat.
Whoever took that mcdonalds picture is stupid. Those fries are positioned akward. They'll just fall out as soon as you try to lift them up.
People don't seem to realise that your bodies preferred source of energy is fat. That's why you store it for when times get hard, which obviously they don't these days. Carbohydrates get converted into glucose, which your body then uses for fuel and stores the fat. Fat is good for you, well natural fat anyway. Eat as much of it as you want, and provided you're not running off glucose you won't get fat. Since the 60's when the government decided to tell people that your diet should be mainly carbohydrates, people have started getting fat. Bread and pasta used to be a treat. Think about it, we've been eating wheat and processed flour for 100-200 years? That's a tiny amount of time out of the thousands of years we've been on this planet, and I'll bet you there was no fat cavemen.
Oh who cares, just eat what you want.
Those both look like shit.
That lean meal looks fucking tasty, except for the grean peas or whatever they are
BRB, going to go and grab a Strawberry Ice-Cream Sausage & Cheese buttery pasta kebab or a SICSCBPK as it's well known
Sitting around playing World of Warcraft eating junk food. Did that shit for 5 years and it didn't do a thing to me, so much for the stereotype.
FUCK YEAH STEAK /caps
The pics made me hungry.

Fast food isn't as prevalent making healthy food more common and therefore more accessible
Those both look like shit.
Both look fucking delicious [editline]3rd December 2010[/editline] This thread made me hungry
I've never seen a kebab in the U.S. :frown:

Mcdonalds just doesn't have the nutrients you need, which is why you feel hungry. If you eat healthier food, even the same amount, you will just naturally be less hungry and eat less. Also, the sense of thirst is so weak in many people that it is often confused as hunger, so if you are hungry when you come home from school/work, drink some water and wait 20 minutes to see if you are still hungry.
Real men eat rugbrød
I have yet to try a kebab Also, I eat quite terribly (Although my diet is certainly not as bad as it would appear) and I'm not fat in any form Although my innards are probably dead
I want that steak so much

Man I loooove full english breakfasts with a big mug of tea.
I eat loads of utter shite and am far from fat.
the human body needs fat anyway, so avoiding it like the plague is retarded, but as with everything else, there's a fine balance
Real men eat rugbrød [img_thumb]http://www.ireks.dk/upload/RugbrodBrotaktion_270_7229.jpg[/img_thumb]
fuck yeah

For most people, if they eat foods with plenty of water content and drink plenty of fluid they won't feel as hungry. Plenty to drink reduces craving for chocolate in particular, I find. Of course everyone's different, so I guess it's a matter of finding what works for you.
I ate a double down and nothing happened. u mad?
