Now I understand Twitter.
I'm sold.
This is amazing
I love that nile picture... I now need to go search for a desktop version of something like that. I just love dark pictures of space, or planets, that have little brilliant lights in them, for my Desktops...
Makes me feel like I'm controlling something with this computer.
Surprised there isn't a post along the lines of 'Hey guys, I'm tweeting...FROM SPACE.'
Woah. That Egypt one. Amazing..
This is SO awesome.
It's not..India is MUCH bigger than that.
and India is bigger than the US
The idiot who rated me dumb, go look at a map or a globe.
India is 1,269,210 square miles.
The U.S. is 3,794,101 square miles.
Africa is around 11.7 million square miles.
Africa really is that big.
Maps have for a long time vastly underplayed the size of Africa. Certain maps make greenland and africa look the same size but in reality greenland is less than 1/3 the size of africa. Africa is the second largest continent in the world.
Thats cool

Yeah, they're bringing up a robot to help the crew on the ISS. And it apparently has a Twitter feed.

Let me guess: either Italy or Baja California. Probably the former, judging by the lights.
Also, did you ever think about how dark it must get on the ISS at night? No light from neighboring towns, no light from anything but the inside of their station, the stars, and the Earth.
I was hoping for "Just spun a bolb of space jelly, it's been spinning for around 3 hours now."
Hnng all that land in Africa, if only it wasn't so hot and full of diseases.

Holy shit. From a really long distance, our world doesn't look so crappy afterall.
Google Earth does that too.

Our world isn't crappy at all. Maybe the basement or suburb where you live is crappy, but the Earth is a little bit bigger than that.
