Back again with another idea for business. Although, I believe the automakers will beat me to this because we're already getting close to implementing it in some luxury cars:
At the base of your side-view mirrors you place a 90 degree camera lense. Whenever you turn on your signal, a small-ish screen shows up in your windshield displaying the entire side of your vehicle.. including the blind spots, making it easier and safer to change lanes/use signals as you dont have to move your eyes off the road to check your mirrors. You could have it set up so that both mirrors show at the same time all the time, but I think that would get distracting to the driver.
Thoughts?
Tesla wanted to have cameras instead of side mirrors butapparently there's some federal auto regulations that forbid it.
Might be able to do it if you still have the mirror there like you said.

Already a thing in a bunch of cars unfortunately, I know that the 2013 Honda Accord does it.

Well. Shit. You're right. But I still think having the screen embedded in the windshield would be better than the center console though

You could do a HUD with the reflection in the windshield like Audi has. Main problem is that it a cakewalk for automakers to implement this in their own car, and many enthusiasts with older cars would much prefer performance mods.

Yea, the entire idea now has already been done by Honda so its all over in that part. Having the speedometer and mirror screens in the windshield would increase safety greatly
Just got my first office today! Moving on up!
