I'm in Waco, TX so I'd head over to New Mexico.
But all the family on my mother's side are zombies (in Iowa). :gonk:
Phoenix, AZ, I'm in the safety zone! Although, I doubt this would work, we can only keep a few immigrants out, let alone swarms of zombies.
I'm in California, right on the coast, about 30 miles from San Francisco. I figure I'd have to make my way out into the Central Valley, to get away from the population centers in the Bay Area, like San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, hell, the entire peninsula.
Infested zone, right next to NYC :frown:
The mega-swarm originated in NYC.
If any of you guys read the book, you'd know that the ISS is the only foolproof zombie safehouse.
Does World War Z follow specific characters, or is it a narration of the world in general, or a philosophical-type read?
Michigan yo. I'm fucked over.

Cuba was pretty safe.
Yellow Zone!1 :D yay.

It's a series of interviews with different survivors, politicians, military men, philosophers, etc, each with a different piece to the narration of how we dealt with the crisis. It's written very realistically, and is more on a take of global politics and relations and humanity's will to survive than 'omg a zombi'.

A little bit of both. It's done via interviews with characters that are rarely seen in the rest of the book, but the stories overlap into a grand scheme of things type of story.

Some of them were really touching, like the Chinese submarine dudes.

Wasn't Israel pretty secure as well?
Some of them were really touching, like the Chinese submarine dudes.
The one with the little kid in the church really got me.
Wasn't Israel pretty secure as well?
Yeah, but they got fucked by a civil war.
The one with the little kid int he church really got me.
The story of the astronauts on the ISS was really quite good. They had to stay up there and watch as the world burned.
I'm safe.
Wyoming ftw!
I guess I'm safe, here in Washington. I guess the only thing I'm gonna shoot are early/lost looters :frown: Ah well, they move faster, anyways. Better target :v:
I'm totally gonna read this. And watch Zombieland again.

Keep in mind that there were local outbreaks behind the Rocky Line.
Grey. In a city. But within 40 miles of a yellow zone (Northern Scotland) so I don't know about how things work in WWZ, but I suppose I could escape to there.
The black spots make no sense. New York would make sense, though, and why is Washington D.C. not a safe zone?

It was so close to the Giant Megaswarm migrating out of NYC, they just decided to relocate West.
I'm glad that I got a lot more positive reception than I'd hope for, let alone people who actually read the book here.
I think I'm gonna like Facepunch. For now.

So I CAN shoot some zombies? :hellyeah:
I don't get it. Is there supposed to be a map? Because I don't see one.
And YES, I read the whole post.
Damn, I gotta read those books.
I've played enough Zombie shooters to know that safe-zones aren't safe.
If it's possible, then I'll travel to the White Area and hole out there. If not, then I'll be one of those people who hole out in the gray, where my only 2 friends are hope and ammunition.

Yes, there is a map. You're apparently the only one that can't see it, for whatever reason.
Read the book ever thought about that?
:downsrim:
Damn it
yellow zone
