Small tabs of infected blood cells left behind on the tissue. They said in the book that it can sometimes take weeks to months before people reanimate. If its the heart its only a matter of seconds
This. Also, in Europe(Croatia). FFFFFFFFF- Infected zone. Oh well, at least I can take a firetruck/train ride to nost northern part of the country, laugh how the zombies can't climb the mountains, jump over Slovenia's border(serious), and get into Central Europe's safe zone. Shouldn't be too hard, right?
Wouldn't the extreme north of Canada be safe since there aren't many people up there? Not to mention the fact that there are military bases.
No, because during the Great Panic, millions of people fled to Canada.
I guess it depends on the position of the head for it to be lethal. And I'm certain there's situation in urban or swampy environments where a disembodied head can hurt you.
Just for clarification, I don't see why AP rounds would be useless if you actually hit a zombie spot on.
No, because during the Great Panic, millions of people fled to Canada.
All the way north to the islands of Canada? Bullshit. Thats retarded.
All the way north to the islands of Canada? Bullshit. Thats retarded.
People were told to go north so that: a) They wouldn't flood the western safety zone ( This was part of th Redenker plan ) b) The zombies tend to freeze at lower temperatures than average humans. In regards to an earlier comment about tanks, yes an AP tank round will kill a zombie, but only one, unless they line up, and even then only if you hit them in the head. Factor in a 5 second reload and max 30 rounds, Tanks are just not worth it. Same case with fighters, they just don't kill as many zombies per dollar as an infantryman with an SIR
I can't wait for the movie www.istartwiththeflu.com
Wouldn't .50 M2's be somewhat effective? I imagine atleast some tanks or APCs were effective, that had weapons like 40mm-20mm autokann0n main guns.
Why would Falklands be infested by millions when the population is something like 10. (not literally)
Again, it's the map. I'm not sure why it's black. I would try to make it grey, but I'm not sure how much that would screw up the map. :|
Meh Finland's infected.. but luckily we're not a densely populated country, so getting to the coast and via a boat through the Baltic sea we could get to Denmark and to safety, yay :) And actually, Finland was mentioned in the book, way to go us!
I can't wait for the movie www.itstartswiththeflu.com
I'm still a little cautious about it. I'm gonna need to see a trailer first. HOLY SHIT, HIGHLIGHT THE IT STARTS WITH THE FLU PAGE, THERE'S A CHAPTER FROM THE BIBLE IN THERE. Says "Daniel 12:1-13"...that passage is named Resurrection of the Dead. Definitely WWZ.
I have no idea if you are being sarcastic or not dumb me baby
No zombie in their right mind would go to scotland.
Daniel 12; 1-13
‘At that time Michael, the great prince, the protector of your people, shall arise. There shall be a time of anguish, such as has never occurred since nations first came into existence. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book. 2Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth* shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky,* and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4But you, Daniel, keep the words secret and the book sealed until the time of the end. Many shall be running back and forth, and evil* shall increase.’ 5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and two others appeared, one standing on this bank of the stream and one on the other. 6One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was upstream, ‘How long shall it be until the end of these wonders?’ 7The man clothed in linen, who was upstream, raised his right hand and his left hand towards heaven. And I heard him swear by the one who lives for ever that it would be for a time, two times, and half a time,* and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end, all these things would be accomplished. 8I heard but could not understand; so I said, ‘My lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?’ 9He said, ‘Go your way, Daniel, for the words are to remain secret and sealed until the time of the end. 10Many shall be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked shall continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand. 11From the time that the regular burnt-offering is taken away and the abomination that desolates is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12Happy are those who persevere and attain the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. 13But you, go your way,* and rest; you shall rise for your reward at the end of the days.’
Scotland. Wooo.
Fuck I'm infected. Sweden. But if we could make it down to Denmark then we'd be okay
We shall fight our way down to Denmark! For mother Sweden!
i must travel to chile to be safe, the whole country seems to be safe.
This is why we danes rock.
This is why we Argentina suck.
I'm in an infected zone, but if i could grab a car i could probably plow my way up to scotland.
Fucking madagascar
So is the Safe Zone in West Coast Canada running along the border of the Rockies?
Scottish Highlands :D
Yonkers.
So is the Safe Zone in West Coast Canada running along the border of the Rockies?
Basically. It seems logical to use the mountains as a defense.
Just got done reading the guide Max wrote and half of World war Z, a great an fast read. Anyways I was wondering, why does Ethiopia have multiple little safe zones?
I'm in a megaswarm infested with an overwhelming shitstorm of the undead. Fuck.
So is the Safe Zone in West Coast Canada running along the border of the Rockies?
Less roads through the mountains = easier to fortify
Alaska should be a Safe Zone, it's not as populated as most other states in the Union and the Climate helps as well. It's also has very rough in terrian and isolated. However, the flood of Refugees may have changed this fact, it could also be a wasteland with frozen corpses. This should be up for the topic of debate. Japan should have a Megaswarm. Despite not being stated in World War Z and the Evacuation of Japan it should still have an extremely large number of infected, most of Japan's population are located in Cities, this would make the spread of anything even faster, the Japanese Police are forbiden to carry weapons, civilians cannot because they're illegal (Sporting licenses may vary) and the Japanese Self Defense Force is a small, inexperienced military. Organized response would be slow and ineffective, this ultimately lead up to the decision to evacuate Japan, however the buffer days between infection and the decision are numerous. China should also have small groups of megaswarms. China is the most populated country in the world, despite China's use of Nuclear Weapons to "Actively Defend it's borders" there should still be huge numbers of infected, as they're only effected by the direct blast and none of the other secondary damages like fallout, burns and shockwaves. South Korea, once again should feature a mega swarm, as it's dense population would allow for fast spread of infection. No mention of other variables can deny the possibility (IE: No organized response, nuclear weapons etc.) Although it is arguable that South Korea would manage, as it's heavily militarized due to the constant standoff with North Korea. And most of it's citizens would have basic Military training. This again should be up to debate.
