Get a nice lawyer. The judge won't let them have your money anyway.
The guy who slipped: and thats how I fell, and I would like to charge 1,000,000 dollars. Judge would laugh.
The man probably got downs syndrome, add, aids, hiv and other stuff from falling down on your sidewalk too.
HIV and Aids are basicly the same thing you nut.
I honestly believe the laws should be amended so shit like this can't happened. For example. If someone if trying to break in via a skylight of some sort, and they fall through, they can sue you. It has happened I believe. And they won. Who deserved to be sued in that situation?
Your Mother makes $20,000 a year in Canadian (I am Canadian too) and you both can afford house expenses and have food/internet/clothes/school money off the side? If you rent, most rent is around $1,200-$1,800 for a small house/condo, so around $1,200 a month at least multiplied by 12 is $14,400/year. So you would have a least $5,600 to spend on anything else you would need to spend it on, because I know, no house would go up for anything LESS than $1,200/month. Troll I may assume? I dont know.......... :clint:
Tell Sue to stop violating your mother.
That guy sure sounds like a major dick to me. Probably thought, "oh shit man i need minneyz i suer for stupid thing that happened 2 years ago hurrr i so smarttt" Good luck Bro
Tell Sue to stop violating your mother.
I suppose that is a bit on the "well played" side sir.
I suppose that is a bit on the "well played" side sir.
Why thank you, kind sir q-o
Why thank you, kind sir q-o
You are welcome.
Universal health care...there is no medical bills. What reason does he possibly have to sue for?
Wait so 50,000 + 50,000 = 1,000,000?
Tell them to sue mother nature.
So OP says the sidewalk he's talking about is actaully on his property, as in running between his front door and the street. He had no good reason to be there, so I don't see how he can win.
Then your screwed. Here in the US (I don't know if it is the same over there) they pretty much say it is your responsibility to maintain your sidewalk and stuff. So if they fall and get injured then your pretty much screwed.
If you own the side walk, and you didn't authorize them to be on it that's called trespassing. They are just trying to scare money out of you or get lucky. Most sidewalks are owned by the city anyways so it's not your fault.
In Australia if you try to sue someone for a ridiculous amount of money like that on such a trivial case the judge will just laugh you out of court. You should be able to grab a defence lawyer pro-bono I would have thought. If you can't afford a lawyer that is.
Disgusting how people try to leech eachother...
