Another one of these films where they filter-rape (negatives, cheap CGI) everything to keep the budget tight. Oh and have I noticed they have done this with games as well? (Driver: San Franciso). However, I'll keep my judgement clear with this one, it better have 'My Heart Will Go On' otherwise it won't have that emotional impact, it must have some romance.
Asylum movies are like parodies of recent movies without the humor. Here are some of the movies they've produced:
"The Da Vinci Treasure"
"Transmorphers"
"Paranormal Entity"
"The Day the Earth Stopped"
"Snakes on a Train"
They don't make parodies, they make what are known as nockbusters. Nockbusters are low budget knock of films made in order to cash in on recent films.
First off, what fucking boat maker in their right mind would christen their ship after arguably the most infamous shipwreck in history?
Second, a tsunami? And icebergs? I'm pretty sure 90% of the time the two are mutually exclusive. Tsunamis happen in the Southern hemisphere, and usually only in the warmer parts. It makes about as much sense as a hurricane in the Arctic.
Third, why is the boat designed after outdated turn of the century ships? Surely modern cruise liners are safer. Plus, modern ship standards FORCE ships to have a hell of a lot more safety features.
I imagine the conversation that led to the production of this movie going something like this:
"Hey, what movies haven't had a sequel yet?"
-"Uh... Pretty Woman, The Breakfast Club, Titanic-"
"THAT'S IT."
-"What's it?"
"We'll do a Titanic SEQUEL, and we'll call it 'Titanic Two' and make it look like some serious shit by writing the 'two' part in roman numerals."
-"How are we gonna make a movie about a ship that has already sunk?"
"We'll have 'em make another one, get into some other kind of sea-related natural disaster, and fuck shit up from there."
-"..."
"It'll work, guys. Trust me."

I couldn't contain my laughter :cawg:
A+ acting right there, bro.
It was on syfy recently...
first 5 minutes in the film and the captain had a bad feeling about the voyage :frog:
800+ mp/h tsunami :frog:
"Drive to where it is warm, there'll be less ice" :frog:
was a good comedy
I figured it would be a 2 hour long video showing the sunken ship and a bunch of skeletons, and just sit there as a still image the whole movie...
It's an Asylum movie. Their expertise is making b-movies of this type.
I think it's safe to say that anything with the name Titanic will always end in tragedy. Thank god my middle name isn't Liverpool.
Though I would love to know what they were thinking when they decided to make a sequel.
"The Titanic was a huge hit! Too bad it sunk so we can't make a sequel."
"That's stopped us before?"
"What do you mean?"
"We'll just build another one and call it the Titanic II!"
"Excellent idea! And we can make it like a history repeats itself plot!"
"Exactly!"
"Cheers!'
I just noticed I was ninja'd a long time ago...I'm sad now...
James Cameron would cry if he saw this. :frog:
Hollywood 2: This time you can't escape the sequels.
During the voyage, effects of possible global warming force an island of ice in the Antarctic to collapse, and creates a disasterous tsunami that sends an iceberg crashing into the Titanic II, leaving it to the same fate of her predecessor.
And i quote
I loled
Just watched this on Syfy.
It's a fucking abomination.
Titanic II: Revenge of the Iceberg.
