god ticks i caught lyme, and now i avoid the outdoors in the summer due to the bastards
Almost mid winter here and mosquitoes keeps appearing as if it were spring. It barely changed since the 2°C in the last week. You can see them crowding at noon and before the sunset. Evolve slower, please.
Those fucking neck beetles when i was a kid i often woke up covered in them
Thankfully over here mosquitos and fleas so far are the only thing we have to really worry about. The fleas are fairly controllable despite some assholes feeding entire colonies of feral cats. The mosquitos, though. Fuck them. In the ass. They are active just about 24/7 during summer regardless of rain, smoke from a grill or time. If you're outside, prepare to get fucked by them regardless of what you do.

Mosquitos are a bitch, but bed bugs are a nightmare to deal with. You can use sprays and candles and screens to keep mosquitos out of your home, but once bed bugs get inside they multiply disgustingly fast. They'll hide anywhere, they're real survivors, they will even hide out in the tiniest cracks and crevices. If you see one, just burn everything down.
Well, I'm allergic to mosquitos so their bites are like, five times worse than usual on me. They bite me like, all the time. I'm still gonna go with horseflies, though. Been bitten by one exactly once in my life, and it was the absolute most horrible experience ever.
Mosquitoes are a huge issue in Florida, so naturally those little shits are the worse. Buzz in your ears and bites your ankles to bits, those cunts.
Stuck between bedbugs and ticks. I live in Canada, just on the shore of Lake Simcoe, so I haven't ever -really- had to deal with them to the extent that you folks in the eastern US have. They still scare the shit out of me though; mosquitoes are easy to get used to IMHO. I don't like the idea of having to dig an insect out of my skin. Where bedbugs are concerned, they're horrible because they come and fuck with you where you live. Which isn't cool. Honourable mention to blackflies. Being outside in blackfly season up north here is not advised.
Dealt with all of them and bed bugs are by far the worst. They shoot you with a local anesthetic so you can't feel when they bite you, and they are insanely good at hiding. They'll attack you non-stop because they're literally in your bed among other places, so you get the privilege of washing, super heating, then bagging everything while you wait for a specialist to come and clear them out. They don't just bite once either, they'll bite you several times in multiple locations on your body and the bumps are extremely noticeable and itchy. The worst part is because they're so sneaky they can hide in places you might miss and they WILL follow you if you try to move to escape them. Actually read a story of a guy contemplating suicide because the things followed him to like 3 or 4 different places and he couldn't get rid of them.
