60 dollars? Jesus Christ these markets make like ten thousands in a day.
It's pounds. So that makes it $92.67 dollars for you USA people.
If only there was some kind of "board" that you can take disputes over "labour" to...
I'm enjoying the updates on this thread

The person responsible for taking the money would never get caught, which is almost as bad as the wrong guy getting punished. Besides, that would look pretty suspicious.
I'd say C, A will cost you a lot of money (which you'll get back mot likely, but still have to pay yourself upfront) and time, not worth it for this kind of job. [editline]27th November 2011[/editline]
That's it though they all had there own till no one else had used them and they are not even thinking about investigating the cashier. Bit of an update as well: Talked to the personnel manager and he says i am well within my own right to stay as an assistant manager at my current store as there is no hard evidence. Afterwards i phoned the Area manager and told her i am not being transferred and told her what the personnel manager told me and she said "you are transferring store whether you like it or not" i told her i am going to take it higher and i will resign before i get transferred if i have to. Then i phoned the divisional manager who is her boss and told him exactly everything and he says he is going to investigate it further and get in touch with the area manager and then get in touch with me on Monday.
Do not resign, that's the worst thing you could do. If you resign you lose anything you had against them as you left yourself.
Go to the citizens advice bureau, if you're in the workers union go to them with your case and get their asses sued.
Glad to see things working out for you. I know what it's like to work for a boss who's got it in for you, usually because they know you can do their job better than them. Sounds like you've followed all procedures correctly and stuck to company policy with regards to the problems between you and your colleagues. You'll be fine mate, she won't have a leg to stand on.
