i agree with this 11x dumbs because you have bad taste
Oh yeah well you have a wrong opinion.
I expected so much more than what this game delivered, which was absolutely nothing but mostly dark alleyways and annoying enemies. It's a real shame, because it had a ton of potential. The graphics aren't bad, it's just the gameplay and level design, it's so awful it's just ridiculous.
Every time one of these threads pops up, I am instantly reminded of the horror and boredom that is Fire Warrior for the PS2. This is possibly one of the hardest, and most boring games I've ever played. Unfortunately, what dragged me into renting this from Blockbuster way back when was the Warhammer 40k and the cover art. On the PS2, the controls were average/okay, but the thumb stick sensitivity was clunky as all hell. This did not bode well with the game play (which was the standard FPS type junk), as the movement and aiming were so clunky and stuffy. It was just as bad, playing it on the PC. Moving on, playing through this game for weeks (yes, weeks, possibly even months) until I eventually beat it spawned an awful habit in me. That habit being: continuing to play through the awful sections of a game in the hopes that it gets good/better. Here's a hint, Fire Warrior did not get better, it continued to grind along the lines of mediocrity in gameplay and difficulty. When it comes to how difficult this game is, it's understandable to consider that you're playing as a Tau (A race of 4-foot-tall, noseless, space communists that can't melee worth shit) by the name of Kais (think "case"). You're put up against imperial guardsmen, imperial stormtroopers, space marines of multiple chapters, chaos marines, and daemon ilk. So of course it's gonna be hard! But I was not expecting it to be so difficult, even on normal. The game is shit, the story is a generic "we're fighting each other because X but half-way through an evil enemy gets between us so now we must join forces to defeat the common enemy". The graphics are standard for its time and the platforms it was on, the gameplay is ass, and the difficulty is mind-numbingly stressing (try it out for yourself if you can manage to find a copy for the PS2). Overall, it's a very boring and annoying game. The Darkness is a runner-up for the worst game I've ever played, all because of both the gameplay and the plot. I couldn't stand the plot at all, especially the whole deal with the protagonist's girlfriend, him traveling to a warped version of WWI to find his grandfather (who had the same superhuman abilities/demonic gifts that he does). Also, the gameplay is wonky, annoying, and the gunplay is absolutely horrid. Just trying to get into a shootout feels wrong, I can't even properly explain it. It's possibly just the wonky, clunkyness of the controls combined with the very loose and unfitting feel to the gunplay.
Takedown: Red Sabre This is one of the only games that I would spend more money just to have someone take it off my hands.
Oh fuck. I sent that to one of my friends just yesterday for his birthday. It was just sitting in my gift inventory, and now I feel bad.
fighting force 64, Quest 64, destruction derby 64, superman 64, Lugaru HD, gish, Atom zombie smasher
Bought this game on xbox and expected a decent rpg. This game is pure trash out of the box. The graphics are a mess, it has a ridiculously low framerate for no reason. The gameplay is dull, the story is dull. The dialogue is awful. Even for a low price I would not recommend this.
I know a lot of people are saying Duke Nukem Forever, but oddly I don't think it's as bad as everyone says. It's not a good game by any stretch, but I've played a hell of a lot worse. DNF is at least playable, and IMO somewhat enjoyable.
I love this horrible piece of shit so fucking much. You make a gladiator and rise through the ranks to eventually buy your freedom or fight your way out of the Colosseum in a 100 man battle to the death. Why the FUCK are there no gladiator games? Why does this complete and total waste of disk space have to be the only good gladiator action game? I say "good" as in SOMETHING is better than NOTHING. Gladius is OK but it's not an action game. This fucking game has the perfect concept but the absolute worst execution I've ever seen. The AI is actually retarded. It's controls are whack as shit. The animations were done by an intern I bet. And the graphics are so fucking blurry I feel like I'm playing in 120x240 stretched across the whole screen. The voice acting was done by about three people in the worst studio with the worst mics possible. And even the fucking little things are wrong, like bronze armour being green. Hey guys wanna know why all the specimens of bronze armour we have today are green? BECAUSE THAT'S THE COLOUR OF BRONZE WHEN IT DECAYS OVER THE COURSE OF TWO AND A HALF THOUSAND YEARS! When bronze is new, its FUCKING BRONZE! The combat is heinously unfair and your only hope is to plan so that you level up during every fight. The duels range from "I don't even need the other half of the controller" to: "I didn't even push a button because this cocksucker with infinite stamina and a stunlock move just pinned me to the wall and shook all the life out of me." And the game breaks a lot, it freezes, it crashes, the audio will break and loop for hours, the AI will bug out and stop what it's doing, and you can walk through solid walls into areas you can then never leave. FUCK THIS GAME! I LOVE IT!
I couldn't bear myself to finish Sir Hammerlock and Tiny Tina's DLCs because at that point where I'm near the second level cap, enemies take a couple mags to kill. It's boring to try to kill a single enemy for more than a minute.
It took me like 20 hours to get from lvl 60 to lvl 72 because the enemies give like no XP so of course you go farm the bosses, but that takes forever, gives like maybe 5 times as much XP as a couple enemies, and even then you'll never get any good loot. The game was fun, but to get "100%" you have to play through the same campaign 18 times (not even kidding), and then spend another 100 hours just getting your characters to level 72, then you have to do the same mission to get to the OP levels 48 times. The game just becomes a grind. Also, the Sir Hammerlock DLC just sucks. It features enemies that are way too annoying to kill and kill you in one shot, a raid boss in a tiny area that constantly shit outs huge AoE abilities, and has a shield with a billion capacity, and then a hidden raid boss that literally has a trillion health at OP8 (AKA it is literally unkillable due to the damage reduction). The Tiny Tina DLC was better, and I loved the music, but the Hammerlock DLC just sucks.
I've never played a really really bad game, but if I had to name one bad one, it'd be Splinter Cell: Double Agent. That thing is just absolutely filled with bugs, more than any game I have played. The story is great, don't get me wrong, but the bugs kind of ruin it.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/7neQNlB.jpg[/t] GOD it was awful. The textures looked like someone took a shit and called it a wall, there was like ZERO detail, it was riddled with bugs, full of poor design choices, bland and generic gunplay, and the story was just utterly incoherent. Honestly the only game I stopped midway through gameplay and said, "Nope, not finishing this." and uninstalled. [editline]4:44[/editline] even posting about it makes me regret the whole two hours I spent on this shit.
The controls are the same, if not worse than Sonic '06. Buggy as all hell. I do not get why this gets so much praise. It's far from being as good as most people say it is.
Juiced 2.
U fukin WOT m8 Juiced 2 was really cool imo, like a less good NFS:U2. Interstate '82 is my nomination. I loved it when I was a kid, but after replaying both it and I'76, it's reeeeeeally dumbed down, nowhere near as detailed and somehow looks worse too. It has nowhere near the level of atmosphere either. Fortunately, the plot is still good, the soundtrack is great and the gameplay is still kiinda fun but ultimately it doesn't shine a light to '76. If I were the age I am now when '82 was released, I'd have been real disappointed.

People praise it because it's pretty much the only 3D Sonic game that remembers that it's supposed to be a platformer.
1st place: Fifa (for some reason my dad got it for me for PS2 for Christmas even though I'm not a soccer/football fan... wtf) 2nd place: From Dust Honourary mention: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Everything Telltale has made so far, and the original Sonic Games.
i agree with this this game is the hipster game this board loves so it doesn't surprise his post got 11x dumbs because you have bad taste and feel the need to make yourself feel better by just putting dumb on someones post
''if you have a different opinion than me ur an idiot :)))))))))'' Get the fuck out OT: Haven't played a lot of memorably bad games, but if I had to pick one it'd be either FlatOut 3 or Command & Conquer 4
Dear Esther I wouldn't say it sucks but holy fuck did I get bored quick. Sure the levels look pretty nice and stuff for a game engine that's seriously outdated. LET ME MOVE FASTER
if major dissapointment counts towards bad games the new medal of honor is one of these games yu have to drop because its boringly generic to the point it feels like a giant dejavu.

Doesn't help that it handles sound and mouse/keyboard controls on PC like a quadruple amputee with Parkinson's handles an egg.
Yeah, Fire Warrior was a disappointment. The sound design was one of the worst parts, and did they have to make the autogun look so blatantly like an M16?
Frontlines: Fuel of War. The story was ratber interesting, but executed very badly. the action parts were boring and repetitive. And the multiplayer was so god damn boring.
Frontlines: Fuel of War. The story was ratber interesting, but executed very badly. the action parts were boring and repetitive. It pissed me off though, if I used air vehicles they would constantly yaw, and once I finally got that sorted out the sensitivity was all out of whack, in a quite similar fashion to Planetside 2 if you know what joysticks are like on that game. If it had better gunplay and larger servers (If I'm not mistaken they were limited to 32 or some shit), I'm sure it'd have done a lot better.
Seconded on Fire Warrior. I honestly loved the ambient sounds, and they really added some atmosphere to the game. Other than that, the overall sound design is mediocre, the mouse/keyboard controls feel wonky as shit (kind of like you are controlling someone else that is controlling the player character), and everything else is just so disappointing.

Very dark, morbid, sick curiosity. It gets bonus horrible points for the Michael Bay Ratchet. It was an on rails shooter with terrible controls and an inability to willingly transform.
modern warfare 3

For worst game because of glitches and bugs, i'm sorry I have to say this but: CS:GO. I can't fucking launch it without crashing. It crashes when I join a match, during a match, and leaving a match. It crashes when the map changes. It crashes when I scrounge about my inventory. It even crashes when I try to quit. I don't know why it's doing this, especially to me because I haven't seen anyone else with this issue. But to me, this game is a buggy POS. I've tried everything I can to fix it but nothing works. The only thing this game has done for me is some extra gmod models. On the other hand, the worst game i've played simply because it fucking sucks so hard has to be without a doubt: Soldier of Fortune - Payback. Oh my fucking god, I don't know where I can start with this. I mean, ok, some of the graphics are nice and the gore effects are done... well, I think? I don't know, but man it's fucking bad.
