Do not go to the deep web. It contains Child Porn, terrorist websites and all that kind of shit. It is also around 500X bigger than the normal web. You cannot enter the deep web through Google either and most pages are encrypted the shit out of. It's not a place anyone should go to be honest. It's like /B/ on meth and coke and heroin.
Here is some stuff that is generally safe for the deep web, NEVER go on anything labeled as .cp and try to avoid channels.
What are the risks to visiting the "deep web"?
In all honesty there are none. Tor makes everything you do incredibly hard to track down, so unless you're downloading child porn by the gigabyte it isn't a big deal. It's fun every once in a while to go and browse it. The deep web, I mean.
it seems like its just we sites not indexed by search engines, and can be accessed by regular web browsers.
We have to go deeper
And thanks to all the /chan/-cunts this will get runned into the ground.
4chan /b/. no questions asked.
Seriously, onions so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
One cannot simply walk into the Deep Web
I walked onto the deep web. Interesting stuff. Here's a deep web version of 4chan (thank god, they are against CP, so you won't run into that there). http://wyxwerboi3awzy23.onion/ The funny part: On a version of 4chan that's even more obscure, you get a more respectable (if you could call it that) community.
Can hackers destroy my hardware components? If they destory my software thats not a problem.
Shit bro, be careful. They might show up at your doorstep and ask for you to hand over your computer components. they might even throw it on the ground!
I know the deep web isn't as freaky and spooky as everyone's making it out to be, but it's really really weird knowing there's the back alleyway of the internet I've never heard about.
Shit bro, be careful. They might show up at your doorstep and ask for you to hand over your computer components. they might even drop it on the ground!
Don't worry, he's not a part of their system.
Okay does anyone remember ShayeSaintJohn? he originated from youtube and was some weird ass freak that posted weird ass videos. At first i just thought of him as an attention seeker, but as i watched more and read more, i did seriously start to believe this guy was gone in the head. He used to have an official site that had all kinds of messed up shit on it, but i am not sure if its been taken down by now. Some reported that he has even died. I managed to find this tho www.shayesaintjohn.livejournal.com/ It also has allot of his videos and stuff. Check it out
www.shayesaintjohn.livejournal.com/
what the fuck

After about twenty seconds of research, I've ascertained that the man (now deceased) known as Eric Fournier wrote the skits that Shaye starred in, though little is known about Shaye herself, or who acted as her. Whether she was a persona of Eric's or someone fictional altogether is completely up in the air and isn't likely ever to come down.
If anyone familiar with tor and the deep web wants to post some of the things they come across, that would be pretty cool.
I did on page 2.. I even said you could browse through me :v:

Goddamn, that's really creepy.
You're all a bunch of wimps, the deep web isn't scary at all, sure there's gore and CP and drugs and shit but beyond that is a world of fucking awesome stuff.

Its fucking creepy, but this was proved to be a part of some ARG that started on SA a long time ago, there isn't such a thing as a Wyoming news channel or even team due to how small the population for the state is. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] This however, is real, its more funny than creepy but every time after watching it i feel a bit unsettled, even if i laughed.
Oh God why am I reading this thread at 2:28 AM.
www.furaffinity.net I win.
on the onion right now, looking through a "hidden chan", fairly boring but i'll post if i find something [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] alright i really don't recommend this, i'm already seeing shit about child porn [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] don't even fucking think of doing it there's a wiki for fucking pedophiles for christ sake, don't do it [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] OH GOD JUST SLIPPED INTO ACCIDENTAL LINK WITH CP WHAT HAS BEEN SEEN WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER BE UNSEEN the only real porn on the deep web is child porn only you can create wildfires
Ok so lets PLEASE stop talking about the disturbances of Deep Web and go on to this little email a Facepunch member got today.
Anyone heard of reptilians? http://truthism.com/
I'm sorry it needed to be done.
Exploring the deep web
Wow, what a fucking ripoff. Someone got paid only $500 USD to kill a spouse only a couple weeks ago in the news (guess that makes sense though, since the hitman was caught). Though I guess the exchange rates must be pretty high considering they're only in Euros. Still, good to know you can still have a dude whacked without leaving your home-office. Vey good, very web 2.0.
Tonight I'll be going into the "dark web". Should be interesting
So what's the likelihood that a good amount of the "hitman"-type sites are run by law enforcement?
Seriously guys, the deep web is not some exciting, huge, sup4h-h4x00r 1337 thing and there's nothing really cool in it. It's a vast source of child porn and you WILL run into child porn like it or not, and also used for doing illegal transactions and shit. Acutally, this isn't even called Deep Web, this is just the TOR network. The real deep web is nothing more than pages that can't be indexed by search engines as they're contained in domains and subdomains and subdirectories and all that bunch of crap, have no information for search engines on their code or outright denied indexing (robots.txt). This could be anything from pages in facebook, attached files in emails, etc..
