Finally watched Into the Wild Green Yonder, wasnt as good as I expected.
The ending was so much better not knowing that the story will continue. Still, I liked it.

Isn't that horrifying? Damn speciesism! I mean; When did you see a spacesuit for guinea pigs the last time?
[img_thumb]http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/files/2011/06/624-Guinea-Pig.jpg[/img_thumb] Today's Countdown item comes from the upcoming episode Cold Warriors which finds Fry inadvertently reintroducing the common cold to 31st-century mankind. That's all well and good, but what really matters is it features a guinea pig in a spacesuit, which is cuter than a marmot in a tuxedo and almost as adorable as a chinchilla in a tutu.
Src: http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/2011/06/05/countdown-to-futurama-guinea-pig-astronaut/ Oh, there's one... Ehhh... Forget that I said anything. That is indeed a guinea pig in a spacesuit. And for fucks sake it's fucking adorable. You want to see something else that is adorable? Wait for it here in the Countdown of Interest Unless it's horrifying, that is.
I have the feeling that Fry introduced another illness from the 21th century in one of the comics. Let me see... Yeah, there we go, it's called "The cure for the common cold". This is bound to be hilarious :v: Here's what happened there: [editline]5th June 2011[/editline] The hell, it IS the common flu. Well, continuity down the shitter. They were never really canon anyway.
June 23 is marked on my phones calander. My time is reserved/ready.
:siren: Day 31 :siren: There's a lot of stuff you can fight with. Guns, swords, knives, lasers, bombs, lawyers. I'm a pacifist, so obviously I only use cobalt bombs. But some of the worst fights are fought with a weapon so hideous that I barely dare to mention it: The Broom.
[img_thumb]http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/files/2011/06/624-Board_A.jpg[/img_thumb] As you may have gathered from the headline, today's Countdown item is a set of storyboards featuring Leela engaged in a broom fight. And I hope you guys are happy, because I'm probably going to get in trouble on account of I just broke the first two rules of Broom Fight Club.
Src: http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/2011/06/06/countdown-to-futurama-broom-fight-storyboards/ Now that's scary! I've said it before and I say it again; Those brooms should be destroyed for the good of all life. Want to know about another horrible weapon? It's called the Countdown of Interest And by that I mean: Me and rosthouse are absolutely not secretly controlling your thoughts. Who gave you that idea? Stop persecuting me!
Yes, we aren't :ninja: Also, brooms are the most dangerous weapon. That's why Scruffy always has one with him.
I still want a mostly silent episode all about Scruffy.
Day 32 We are often to judge people just by looking at their outside rather then their inside. Leonardo Da Vinci figured that out in the renaissance, so he stole corpses and cut them open to get a look inside them. Robots, luckily, won't have that problem as they can watch their inside quite easy.
I think we all have a pretty good idea what we'd see if we looked inside Bender's mind: booze, cigars, women, the death of all humans, etc. But I don't think we've ever gotten a look at the inside of Bender's actual physical head… until now.
Src: http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/2011/06/07/countdown-to-futurama-insider-benders-head/ Bender, after all, seems to be full of hot air! And some technomajingies, obvioulsy. But why do we get to see his inside? And where is Benders slow-clap unit? Find out, when we continue the Countdown of Interest Wondering who would win in a fight between Bender and Glados for meanest robot ever
I like those sites where one can order custom printed stuff. Like buttons. I like buttons. (Ignore the ones related to politics (Including the Piratbyrån and tpb ones. I'm partially infoanarchist) and music, then the rest will be related to Futurama)
I especially like that small one with Fry holding up Leela :3:
I especially like that small one with Fry holding up Leela :3:
I just love that pic, so now it's on the side of my cap. :3:
I see a scene from The Sting there as well :3: Oh, and something from LMAO again:
Day 33 Video games, no matter how hard they try, will never be realistic. Why? Because realism isn't fun. In real life, you get shot and you're dead. Basta. That's it. In games you get shot time and time again and you still somehow survive every battle without a scratch. Even Fry knows that.
Don't look now, but there are only 15 days until the season premiere of Futurama. That's slightly less time than some celebrity marriages! So, if you want to marry and divorce Ernest Borgnine in time for the premiere, you had better get cracking. In the meantime, I got you two crazy kids a wedding present. It's Fry as a WWII video game character from the upcoming episode Overclockwise
Src: http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/2011/06/08/countdown-to-futurama-video-game-fry/ Now that's a badass looking Fry. He'd even have a chance against Leela! But it's only in a video game, so it doesn't really count. Or does it? Anyway, I'll start downloading the next COUNTDOWN OF INTEREST
I see a scene from The Sting there as well :3: Oh, and something from LMAO again:
Its funny, but its also true on what MS is doing, in fact, I didn't see the 360 conference, I just read about the Microsoft Kinect conference. Damn it, hurry up so I can watch more Futurama.
Why am I such an idiot :smith: I asked for seasons of the Simpsons for my birthdays when I was young, rather than Futurama when Futurama is clearly much more funny than the Simpsons. Both the Simpsons and King of the Hill are hilarious for the first few seasons, but then began to get stale. Futurama is still hilarious to this day.
Let's see now... For Overclockwise we've seen the inside of Benders head and now Fry as a badass video game character. What will that episode be about?
Let's see now... For Overclockwise we've seen the inside of Benders head and now Fry as a badass video game character. What will that episode be about?
About gamers overclocking Bender? v:v:v
About gamers overclocking Bender? v:v:v
Must be it.
Shame that I'll probably miss this entire season what with working nights. I could try to DVR it, but my DVR is the most unreliable piece of crap ever. I swear, it will just randomly tune to stuff like QVC and Desperate Housewives and record them for no reason.
The episodes will probably be up on casttv anyway http://www.casttv.com/shows/futurama if it's like last season, they'll be up like a day after the broadcast date, and you don't have to pay to watch it until the season comes out on dvd
Previous episode I watched was where Fry was drawing a comic to impress everyone, and where that alien dude pretended to take over earth to impress his wife.
:siren: Day 34 :siren: THE END IS NEAR! REPENT THY SINS!! And by "The End" I mean the one-hour Futurama season 6-B premiere, and by "Near" I mean two weeks today. And by "Repent thy sins" I meant... I don't know. Stuff and junk, I guess.
[img_thumb]http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/files/2011/06/625-Boards_A.jpg[/img_thumb] I don't have to tell you that the future promised to give us hoverboards, and so far the future has failed to deliver. And while we may never get to ride a scientifically-improbable toy, we can all take solace that there will at least be hoverfish in the future. I mean, think about it. Wouldn't you rather have a snowfish than a snowboard or an ironing fish than an ironing board?
Src: http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/2011/06/09/countdown-to-futurama-hoverfish-storyboards/ Damn it! Now I want an aquarium filled with ironing fishes! But when it comes to the hoverboards we must remember that we still have an whooping 4 years until they were predicted to exist by that scientific documentary called "Back to the Future". But one thing they didn't predict was the next update of the glorious Countdown of Interest Or did they...
I love the music they chose to use in episodes. It was always so fitting.
Got to say, Mom is a badass.
I love the music they chose to use in episodes. It was always so fitting.
What episode was that in?
What episode was that in?
Leela's Homeworld.
Leela's Homeworld.
That episode makes me feel all emotional.
The Futurama writers have great taste in music.
Watch out it's the brain spawn!!
Leela's Homeworld.
Ah I remember now, the end montage right?
