is/was there an episode tonight? [editline]12th July 2012[/editline] Some live event going on right now http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/futurama/live [editline]12th July 2012[/editline] Billy West just did a Live reading of Fry Meme's, afterwords Matt Groening said "Wow, we just witnessed the killing of a Meme"
I'm sad because I have DirecTV and they got rid of Comedy Central.

Watching the new episode now. Almost forgot it was out
That "Go out on the wing and pretend you're a gremlin" got me.
I had a comic about Futurama meets the Simpsons, I don't know where it went though.
That "Go out on the wing and pretend you're a gremlin" got me.
I love every reference to that. The one in ace ventura was one of my favorites.
Jim Carry does a good Shatner.
I'll be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of that episode. It was alright, but I didn't really like how it focused all around leela's parents. Although I am glad they finally show mutants coming out and doing things, unless I missed them in scenes before. I was just waiting for her parents to come out. I don't really know what put me off to this episode, maybe the lack of every major character. Oh well, I'm sure the next will be good. (It was an alright episode, just not a fan)
I didn't like how they made Leela jealous. It didn't seem to fit her character and just felt forced. Like her obsession in the space whale episode. In both of the episodes, she just felt like that because it fit the storyline, not because that's what her character would be feeling. It makes it hard to emphasis with her character because she just pulls emotions out of her arse.

Why the hell would she be jealous when she kinda hates Zapp. :sigh: Let's hope the next episode will be more futurama-like. (Also, I don't think the professor was even in that episode, that made me sad, as he is on of my favourite characters.)
the newest episode was not very good. i don't like it when they force characters to fit particular storylines like the above two posters said i remember that episode where leela wanted to make the crew eat strictly organic because she found a bone in some fast food and not because leela has always cared about animals or anything :rolleye:
I don't think she was "jealous". She basically believed Zapp was trying to get to her using her mother, like she said in the episode. It's not really an outlandish jump for her to make, considering Zapp has tried everything in the past to get back with her.
I had a comic about Futurama meets the Simpsons, I don't know where it went though.
Same, I had like 3 of them. Did they do any more after that?
Remember when the rednecks made fun of her and she entered the derby? That is totally her character.
It's not really an outlandish jump for her to make, considering Zapp has tried everything in the past to get back with her.
except the part where she threw herself at zapp in lingerie

Anyone notice how sometimes Amy just says the weirdest things? Like "Hey! Look what my flashlight found!" the fuck
I had a comic about Futurama meets the Simpsons, I don't know where it went though.
I've got a whole bunch of Futurama comics and the Futurama/Simpsons crossover in my pictures folder.
except the part where she threw herself at zapp in lingerie
and she set it up so that when Zapp made a move on her, her mother would come in and break it off with Zapp. She wasn't trying to get Zapp for herself, she was trying to get rid of him.
Just read the comic. Not very good or interesting
I wish i could watch the new futurama... fucking viacom faggots.

I watched from http://watchseries.eu/serie/futurama And used gorillavid, it seemed to be pretty good.
:zoid:
I haven't liked the new season as much as the older ones. Like the end of the most recent episode. They didn't think they could help Fry, and then it's just fixed and everyone says "Yay!" and the episode ends.

So far this season overall is "meh". I liked the episode involving bender and his child, but some of these episodes have been not the best. Here's hoping the next episode will be better. I really hope it doesn't keep going downhill.

Seen the 2nd newest episode, [sp]Morris punching Brannigan was funny as hell, at least Munda left, and it was out of character for Leela to be pissed. Then again, she probably wants that bastard to be miserable, can't blame her.[/sp]

Although I did find the fact that he seems brain dead and everyone still says "Yay!" pretty funny.
