Can you make any weed edibles w/o using an oven or microwave?

So, since my parents don't know I smoke weed, I was wondering if there are any basic edibles you can make without using an oven or a microwave.
Not unless you can figure out some other way to heat the weed enough to decarboxylate it.
Impossible, even if you use tinctures I think you need to at least decaboxylate before using the weed. You need the heat to turn the THCA into THC, otherwise you're eating raw weed for nothing.
I've heard some people make firecrackers by simply putting the weed in the peanutbutter on the crackers and letting them sit for like a week. It sounds disgusting, but is there any truth to it? If so, it could help this guy... although personally I'd never eat something that gross just for a high.... oh who am I kidding. :v:

My bet would be on that's a myth. From what I understand weed contains mostly THCA and very little actual THC. Weed will decarboxylate THCA into THC itself very slowly, and this THC will get into the peanut butter, but I don't think it'd be enough to get you high unless you ate a monstrous amount.

The other cannabinoids in weed might get into it though, so it may work there. If so then that would a pretty good way of making high CBD edibles, to give it a more indica vibe.
My friend has this butter, we just take a spoonful of it and get fucked up. I don't know how it's made but it taste like shit and gets you high as fuck.
Would weed that's been run through a vaporiser need to be decarboxylated? Surely the heat from the vape would have taken care of that part already. I have probably over a 1/4oz of vaped bud that I would like to put to use somehow.

It is indeed already decarboxylated. And, of course, far less potent, so you'll need to use quite a lot to make working edibles.

your house will smell like booty though
Smoke some and invent a way dude.
Glycerin or alcohol tincture. Take weed, put in alcohol that you like to drink (standard strength 40% or higher) or vegetable glycerin. Wait. For the glycerin you need to shake it at least once a day but the alcohol prolly doesn't really need to be stirred that often but leave them for a month and then you can strain the plant out and consume it. As for how much to use for how much bud that's trial and error.
go to a friends house who's parents don't care then have a bakesale or some shit
make a solar oven like the ones you made in school. shoe box, foil, mirrors, sun, edibles ingredients. bam.

Everything I have read on the matter suggests that soaking by itself is not enough and that decarboxylization still needs to happen in some way or another. Some say you need to crisp the buds in an oven first, others say that you can sizzle the alcohol/glycerin + dank mixture in a crock-pot or similar, but in the majority of cases I've read suggest that heat needs to be involved in order to activate the THC so that the end result will actually do something.
I'm not an expert by any means, just pointing out a trend I've noticed. Anyone more experienced is welcome to prove me wrong.
well nothing without a microwave or oven tbh
