what did you think, that he'd be unable to open doors and closing all doors would just make him go: "ah fuck, i have been outwitted" and leave?
i.. ok yeah, good point but why does he have to open them so slowly it's creepy as fuck
i.. ok yeah, good point but why does he have to open them so slowly it's creepy as fuck
To give you a chance to panic and fail at escaping through a different door.
Shit man, as soon as I saw that skull avatar I knew that it was going to be 8spoky5me.
To give you a chance to panic and fail at escaping through a different door.
exactly... dear god, i don't want to play this i scare so easily and panic like a little girl
Upvoted on account of my tendency to be a horror-junkie. This looks amazing, holy shit.
what did you think, that he'd be unable to open doors and closing all doors would just make him go: "ah fuck, i have been outwitted" and leave?
"The doors are closed? Guess I'll have to go intruder window!"
Will there be a Spooky Scary Skeletons easter egg?
it looks like salad fingers lol
Will there be a Spooky Scary Skeletons easter egg?
Skeletons are confirmed to be in the game. There's at LEAST one in [sp]your body[/sp].
What's the procedural model the key features mentions?
What's the procedural model the key features mentions?
It's not as vague as it sounds. You'll understand immediately what I meant when you see it.
Will it be possible to set up some Home Alone style traps around the house? At the very least could we place objects that would make a noise if the Intruder interacted with them? (Broken glass on the floor, pushing furniture in front of doors, tripwires, etc)
mister royzo please implement water buckets to perch above doors
This sounds fantastic. I have an idea for your movement and running system; with most Source games running is very generic FPS-y. IE, when you're running and come to a stop it's almost instantaneous. In this game you should have a delay and realistic head bobbing, very similar to how Arma II is. (Without it feeling like running in peanut butter) I would love to see an "Afraid" system, so that the more afraid you are the harder it is to do basic tasks. For example, if you are running and are extremely terrified you have a chance of stumbling around corners and such.

To me, a game stops being scary if it gets too many unneeded things. I don't want to keep track of 3 different bars on my HUD to know if I will suddenly be horrible at running.
I want to mod in Weeping Angles. Please let me mod in Weeping Angles
[img_thumb]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_a45mewE6CtM/SxfWtvDBLrI/AAAAAAAAAEk/Z9BsKjLro2s/s320/Angle.png[/img_thumb] Why would an angle cry
Because it's to acute, when all it wants is to be obtuse
forgive me if i'm being obtuse, but you're looking pretty acute today. how about i take you back to my domain and bisect your angle?
The game has only 2% support. Man this is gonna take forever.
How many good ratings do we need?

For example, if you're extremely frightened by glass breaking or a sudden noise it makes recalling memories much fuzzier and less clear.

[editline]1st September 2012[/editline] or we could just, you know, rip off frictional games like you suggested.

"silent hill 2 was a great game, but you know what would make it better? a hunger meter."

No one has suggested over the top features like that. The game, from what we can tell, is all about thinking on your feet and deciding what is most important. It also seems like Royzo is putting in features like a survival system to add a little more chaos to the situation. I could easily see a system in which being hungry, thirsty, or frightened affects how you perform at certain things. Whatever you do royzo DO NOT let PewDiePie play this.
Whatever you do royzo DO NOT let PewDiePie play this.
I would be fine with this.
Whatever you do royzo DO NOT let PewDiePie play this.
One of the comments on the Greenlight page was something like
Looks a lot like Slender, Can't wait for PewDiePie to play it :D
