No interesting dreams last night, just boring shit. There was one WILD but it ended after I rose out of bed. Better luck next time
I had a dream that I had just woken up and everything was really blurry, after a bit I realised that I was surround by a group of young men, then one of them punched me in the face which caused my vision to go completely white and hear a buzzing sound. I regained my sight, only for it to be taken away again by another punch to the face, this once caused me to wake up. I could still feel the pain on my temple when I woke up.
The other night I had a dream about being a british super-spy to infiltrate an illegal child-labor organisation in like, Uganda and then getting thrown into a swamp with alligators.
I recall "Killing" the embodiment of a fear when I was younger, and waking up mostly unafraid of the fear. Think there are any other applications for this sort of thing?
So what other tips would there be for attempting lucid dreams?
Yesterday I wanted ice cream. Last night I had a dream about trying to get some mint-chip ice cream. Today I ate mint-chip ice cream. It tasted really good. My subconscious makes better decisions than me :v:
Anyone see this on Kickstarter? http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1047510073/remee-the-rem-enhancing-lucid-dreaming-mask/ This looks interesting but I am kind of in doubt that it works, anyone have anything that backs up what they say?
I had a weird ass dream. My friend and I worked as the guardsmen for the Tower, which housed the souls of the dead. We would smuggle the souls of the unjustly killed and the innocent out of the Tower and back into the world of the living to give them a second chance. The tower itself was really weird. It just spiraled up into the air for forever, and the walls were completely covered in body drawers like at the morgue, and the dead were continuously pounding on the walls of the drawers and screaming and crying.
I had a dream I was in a secret society of outcasts, I go to jump into a flying chopper, hijack it from the guy who already hijacked it, and blew stuff up because I could. It had GTAIV's controls
Had a dream about exploring an old sunken German nazi submarine. It had a secret cargo that we were supposed to recover, but no one knew what it was. The submarine was enormous, the size of an aircraft carrier pretty much. We dove down to it in scuba gear, opened a hatch and entered an airlock. We walked towards the cargo bay, and on the way we passed multiple rooms filled with dead German crewmembers laying on the floor or on their bunks, mummified or mere skeletons. It was creepy, but it was part of the job. The closer we got to the cargo bay, the louder we heard it. A sound like scrapy bass, about twice every second. We reached the cargo bay doors and it was very loud. Just going bwooshh bwoooshh constantly. We opened the doors and there it was, the mysterious cargo. A bunch of interlocking rings with some kind of energy in the middle, it was like the machine from the movie Contact but smaller, the size of a dump truck. Sitting amidst wooden crates. The sound became unbelievably loud when we opened the doors, and it was caused by the largest, outermost ring rotating a couple of times a second. It had been sitting there since the time the submarine sunk in WW2. We looked at it for a while, wondering what the hell it was, when I noticed a bunch of soldiers with guns come up the corridors behind us, apparently villains who wanted the machine for themselves. They surrounded us and pointed their G36s (with bayonets attached) toward our chests and we raised our arms. Their boss, a dude with long hair and snobby glasses arrived and tied our hands. At that moment, I heard someone shout out to us from behind, it was a friendly guy who wanted to help us escape. He shot down a bunch of the soldiers and shouted us to follow him. We started running towards the airlock, with the baddies chasing us from behind, and at this point I woke up. Next dream was about visiting another dimension. After spending some time in there, I took some of their coins with me and returned to the real world. Came back home and everyone was shocked to see me. Apparently I was gone for 6 months, while for me it was only a couple of hours. I showed them the coins as proof of where I was. Then woke up.
I had an epic-level strange dream last night. It included muppets fighting a dalek with heavy weaponry.
how much does vitamin b12 make a difference? or is it b6 bwhatever it is
I've been thinking lately. Dreams, particularly clear-as-day lucid ones, are like temporary pocket universes. They feel so real, and just are so detailed, that from the dreamer's perspective they really are those, although to an outside observer they're just brainwaves. But does the dreamer observing and interacting with the absolutely vivid and realistic dreamworld make it a temporary universe of its own, like ours? Like a bubble of another dimension inside our heads that pops when we wake up? Who knows :v:

Okay, the full dream from last night: I'm on the road to my house, driving a car. I've never really driven a car, but after a little I got the hang of it. It was more the concept of a car that I was driving; there were pedals and I was sitting in a seat, but there wasn't really a seat or a body or even really a steering wheel. Coming to traffic light, I noticed that I was driving from the passenger seat, so I jumped into the driver's seat and continued to drive. At the second to last turn, instead of heading home I followed some bicyclists. (Side Note: I often see groups of bicyclists or joggers in my dreams. They might have something to do with trains of thought) I called out to one of them, who I identified as a friend of mine, and the group dispersed. Then I was with some sort of goddess, I think her name was Dio. After a conversation I don't remember, I tried walking into a hallway. There was a left turn in the corridor, then there was a right turn. I saw that there was an infinite amount of these turns. I turned back and saw that I hadn't moved at all, I was still at the entrance. I found myself in an area still similar to the hallway. There walls were painted white sheet-rock, The floors were light colored hardwood, and there were lights along the floor where the floor met the walls. The current room looked like an office break room. I felt an impending fear; I knew that were was something here and it was not my friend. Bursting through a door, a dalek entered the room. Nearly simultaneously, an assortment of muppets arrived in military uniforms and carrying some serious weaponry. The firefight ended before it really got started when Animal fired his grenade launcher a few times and completely destroyed it. The conclusion of the dream was me watching someone play a sidescroller that was based on the dream I just had.
I think I bought an M39 Finnish Mosin Nagant in my sleep. Wish it was real.

Is it normal to have zero color in your dreams? About 90% of the time my dreams are in full black and white.
My sister had sleep paralysis last night. Apparently couldn't move after waking up and some dude from a previous dream of hers stood next to her bed and touched her head. Looks like the potential of lucid dreaming runs in the family :v: She should start honing her skills.
I had a dream where two pairs of pants, both having the capability to talk, one being male and one being female. They both combined together and turned into a hot woman who talked me into having sex with her, but then as I progressed, she started looking more and more like my dad. What the fuck?

I had a pretty awesome, long, semi-lucid dream while I was taking a nap this morning. I was in a place called YouTube Bridge, which was a huge resort that YouTube had made. It was just a big square space, with a huge bridge that went from one side to the other crossing through the middle, and a huge space of shallow water to swim in at either side of the bridge. There was a really big hotel that edged the entire place. I was in the pool when some really hot girl swam up to me and wrapped her legs around my hips. I think she was wearing jeans and a bra. She started smiling at me and started talking about god-knows-what. Then she stopped and started making out with me for 5 seconds. Then she just kept talking about what seemed like nothing in gibberish. She had a really weird voice, like a robot mixed with a typical seductive voice. It felt kind of awkward with her talking about nothing and me sitting there with a straight face not saying anything. (This part also didn't feel sexually good. It just felt normal.) Then it cut to me being on a wooden balcony of one of the hotel rooms looking down at the entire resort with the CEO of YouTube wearing a suit (I have no idea what he looked like beforehand, but my dream just told me it was him). He almost fell off but I saved him, so he gave me a necklace. Then it cut to walking outside of the resort. There was some kind law building (I don't know what to call it; it was a building where you get lawyers and attorneys and all that shit), and one of the lawyers walked out saying something about a brand knew type of spirally paper towels. I don't remember much from hereon, but I think he said a catchphrase, then another guy came out of the building and did a weird dance.

Most attempts with it will likely end with a dream which includes flashing lights that you don't think anything special about. But with enough practise and motivation, you'll be able to utilize it as a lucid dream inductor. The mask doesn't automatically give you lucid dreams, it just greatly helps in getting them. I'm very interested in it, and probably will buy one if it works well enough, because it's relatively cheap.
I had a cool entry-like dream introducing me to the new REM stage I guess around 3:34 in the morning when I went back to sleep. It started with a light-blue background, like you would find on the blue-theme of windows. Then all this large white text starts rolling at me, I am somewhat consciously aware of this and trying to keep myself calm. Hoping I could go to a real dream and retain lucidity, but I lost it inevitably. But this text is coming at me symbolizing all the words, numbers, letters, and language symbols that are part of my vocabulary and knowledge, even the little Japanese I know even rolled along. It seems every time when I try WILD I lose my consciousness, but later regain it in the middle of one these strange stationary dreams. It chooses some sort of gradient color then starts flashing text/images at me randomly and extremely fast. Every time afterwards I'm no longer lucid.
Had a dream last night that I was walking through a nice downtown dream area with my father, then we went into a church. This is pretty odd because my family isn't religious, especially my father. I think the main reason was because there were some super-comfy seats in there. Then when they were going around collecting money I said I didn't have any (by reflex), only to second later realize I had some coins in my pocket. I could feel them in there. Funny thing is, I have those same coins in my actual pocket.
I had such a mundane dream last night that I didn't even notice I was dreaming. The only memorable part of the dream was when I looked in the mirror and my eyeballs were fucking huge.
I had a dream where I was lurking in the shadows near a Recreational Center, they were having a meeting or something with one of those oversized note-pads. It was pitch midnight outside, and there was a streetlight shining over a man in the light. I waited until the guy in front of him turned around, and I hit the guy-in-the-light as hard as I could with my baseball bat. I dragged his (presumably dead) body into the bushes before the giant delivery truck passing by saw me and the body (I hid in the bushes.) I went toward the entrance and noticed the group, so I hid behind the wall. I saw the other guard and smacked him in the face with the bat with a heavy swing. I then proceeded to wake up before he hit the ground all bloody.
