I woke up this morning to being tazed in the back in a dream. My back is still in pain.
Going to sleep, gonna try out thi ls pineal gland thing. Every time I've tried I immediatley pass out :v:
for the past week or more, ive been waking up at about 4 am, and not really getting back to sleep until 6 when my alarm goes off unless i'm able to sleep in, and then I fall back asleep by like 7
its really not good and I dont know what to do
also this morning when I woke up I was watching the clock, and it seemed like minutes were going by really fast, so I started counting out the seconds
i only made it to about 35 before the minute was up, so I sped up my counting a lot, and then I only made it to 45, and then to only 50
its like my brain was completely slowed down
I had a dream last night about Bioware releasing a horror game set in the Mass Effect universe during the Prothean time. The fact that it was a game was revealed at the end; I was the main character for most of it. The central plot point was an odd one. We knew about the Reapers (and in fact the player character was the one who coined the term), and we also knew the previous civilization, the inusannon, was not "Reaped" as they kept saying. It devolved into an Amnesia-like scenario where I had to figure out what happened to the inusannon. I remember learning they were not killed off by AI or the Reapers, but by a bioengineered race of their own creation. Those were the monsters. I woke up feeling sad that this will probably never be a game.
I always seem to have dreams wherein I'm driving really nice cars on various roads and in different situations and it's always fucking great
Had a dream about being at a ski resort and constantly having to avoid avalanches that were rumbling down the hill.
Had a fun dream.
I was working for NASA. Some dude came to me and said that he found mysterious papers and badges. Something like Apollo 39. Conspiracy theory shit. Showed them to me. I decided to fly to the moon to check out if there's a secret base. Me and some others landed there, and found a lush environment just like Earth, terraformed secretly by the military. Looked in the sky and the Earth was floating there. We stumbled upon some tripwires which were there to kill intruders. We then arrived at a checkpoint. The guard asked us for "invitation papers" which we didn't have. A woman from my group seduced him and while they were having sex we slipped past them and arrived at the secret moon base, kind of a city with farms and everything. Woke up.
I dreamed my entire senior class was locked up at a farm, WWII work camp style. We were all superhuman, and were faster, stronger, and more resilient than anyone ever. On the day they were planning to shoot us all, we overthrew them.
Holy shit I had this amazing dream where I had to live with 5 unknown people, whom I have hated from the start. Some voice tells me that "I'm blind as to what they actually are" and that "I should delve deeper within their personality". Truth is, they were actually personifications of my worst characteristics, like my greediness and how it could affect my friends, my laziness and how people would easily "give up" on me if I kept that attitude, etc. Never had such an insightful dream, I mean, I already had some beautiful imagery, post-apocalyptic settings and such but this took the cake for granted. It was actually a lot more in-depth than this and God damn it why did my alarm clock had to go off.
I had a dream where I was put to a test.
As a big pet-peeve of mine is cups/glasses being too close to the edge of the table.
Then in the dream there is some dude at a office table and he has a cup of coffee which is allmost balancing on the edge of the table.
And I were to keep myself from moving it towards the center of the table.
As of late my dreams have been making me feel really lonely and depressed.
What are some common things that happen or that y'all see in your dreams? Like dreamsigns.
My common locations would include my old school, old house, my grandmother's house and a field nearby. As for things, I'd count boarding an airplane or a bus to travel abroad (plane generally ends up doing an emergency landing, and the bus tends to stop near some random store where I go shopping at)
Sometimes also my uncle or father driving a car with me onboard, and always managing to go over the speed limit and crashing into something (usually flying off the road and smashing into a tree) and me saying "told you to slow down"
What dose of melatonin would you recommend for attempting a WILD? Got a bottle of 3mg tablets here, which recommends one tablet before bed.
When I was younger I remember having bad dreams almost nightly but also ALWAYS being able to force my eyes open to wake from the dream. I'd have lucid dreams as well all the time but now I can't control anything at all in my sleep.

Most of my dreams often occur in my house and have something to do with what I've been doing at the time. This could be sitting on a computer when trippy shit starts happening, cooking, watching tv/playing games or the worst is long lost relatives coming back or family members going missing. The worst thing about these is that they're so realistic that when you wake up you're not 100% sure of what happened in the real world as you've woken up.
Had some good dreams last night.
One was about being in an apartment complex. Each door led to a parallel universe. You needed a special key to open each. The entire thing was overseen by a dystopian organization called "Freegate". I was part of a resistance that managed to escape into one of these universes and locked the door so they couldn't follow us.
Another was about staying away for a long time and coming back years later, only to find out that my in-dream girlfriend had developed a heart problem and didn't have long to live. She wasn't in her apartment so I asked the neighbor what had happened, and once he told me that she was in the hospital for it I ran like hell and eventually reached where she was, and was incredibly relieved to see her still alive.
A third dream was about making a movie for Scrooge McDuck. I kept saying "this movie is gonna be awesome, trust me" and then he went away in some room to watch it. The movie was about doing different patterns in a jar of sand, while counting 1..2..3..4.. etc for each pattern I made in it. It was so bad, that a minute or so later a small piece of paper floated down the ceiling and it said "This movie is fucking terrible. Kill yourself. -Scrooge"
A fourth dream was something I wrote keywords about in my dream journal, but can't remember the plot because it was so early on in the night. Keywords were "Ransom", "Sniper", and "IM". I hope it'll suddenly come back to me later today
I also had a couple WILD attempts, but was unlucky this time and woke up during the sleep paralysis stage.

My most common location in dreams would be my old high school or someplace that is deemed to be my college. Next would be my room, most of the time it is arranged differently though. Those are the only two off the top of my head, perhaps being in WoW would be another.
I'm gonna get a Remee for my birthday! :D

I really don't recommend that.
really, why not?
It's expensive. not guaranteed to work.
Also (From what I've heard from friends who have made their own before this whole thing took off) it takes as much effort to learn to pickup when the machine is doing its job then WILD / MILD.
The better you are at lucid dreaming the more effective remee will be, basically.
Well I have a year or two of experience so I think it'll work fine.
Also, if it doesn't work at least I'll get a sleep mask out of it
Had a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. dream last night.
It was like a combination of the mods Total Faction Warfare for Clear Sky and People Soup.
I had a dream that I was giving my brother an exorcism...
What the fuck?
[sp]No, fucking serious. Might have been because I was thinking about playing my priest again on World of Warcraft, that and there was "A Haunting" playing in the background as I was dozing off. My subcon is acting fucking retarded lately.[/sp]
Also, this morning I had my first sleep paralysis lucid dream. It was nice, though it started off with my anti-sub fucking things up.
i lost my inspiration to lucid dreaming, i think it is time to watch Inception again
Every time I go lucid I just end up smashing shit with the force. It's awesome.
I recently had a lucid dream, it was short but extremely vivid for a while.
It felt like reality, it was great. Sadly I didn't do much besides scare myself.
Now I have that feeling of being able to lucid dream even though when I go to sleep I probably wont remember anything.
I fell asleep watching through the wormhole last night.
fuggen awesome.
Had lucid dreams before, but I've never tried actually inducing one as I go to sleep (WILD). For a first attempt, I'm surprised I even got as far as I did.
I remained still for about fifteen minutes with eyes shut whilst mentally repeating "I am going to dream". Eventually something unusual started- I wasn't quite as aware of my body, my eyes started to move rapidly, and there was a very loud buzzing. There were indistinct patterns too. Could only hear my own breathing apart from that.
But I think my mixture of nervousness and curiosity got the better of me, because these sensations faded and I was back to normal again, reality checked too. It turned out that I had been there for maybe half an hour.
Was I getting there, do you think? It seems to be like putting yourself in a trance.
