took some last night, didnt really improve the vividness of my dreams
Does any of you want to sleep fast and have ultra vivid dreams? Gobble up a couple of these: Melatonin owns.
I take those. They are really the best pill to fall asleep nice and easy.
Woke up in sleep paralysis twice last night :(
I got 2.5 hours of sleep last night :v:
I had a dream about an orgy in a schoolbus. excellent.
weirdest thing, i just got up from a nap, waking up to this really weird shit first of all my chest on the middle left side started feeling really rigid.... difficult to describe, like when you are sick and your lungs are full of mucus and make you wheeze, that kind of feeling, but in one spot in my chest but not in my lungs. It started getting more difficult to breathe, like I was becoming really short of breath. I just kind of sat there, and as time went on I started feeling this horrible feeling of anxiety as my heart started beating more forcibly. Then pain began in my left arm, radiating into my shoulder and back and neck/lower jaw and I just sat there for about 30 minutes as slowly the feeling went away and I felt normal again [editline]22nd May 2012[/editline] it was really disappointing too because I had a good dream but now I can't remember it because of all of that
Sounds like a heart attack.
Sounds like a heart attack.
I looked up heart attack symptoms and they sound similar but I'm only 17 so I don't think it's that
Happens to me after naps too sometimes. Not sure why, although I'd guess something to do with muscle cramps. Were you positioned awkwardly?
This night something unusual happened to me. I laid to bed. Just when the i started to sleep, i heard firework's sound, which wasn't so powerful, because of distance and windows, but it was noticeable. And i started to wake up, which is not really wake up or sleeping mode. It was something in the middle, and i started see really vivid dream, and but unfortunately i didn't realized that i was in dream. After a reality check i started lucid dreaming. So today i will try to make a project on Arduino, just with basic speaker, to get me into the "middle of awake and sleeping". If i'll success, i will post it there.
I dreamed I built another cruise liner. Luckily nobody died during the construction of this one, so I don't think this one will be haunted as well.
Woke up in sleep paralysis twice last night :(
Lucky you. Did you use the chance(s) to get into a lucid?
Lucky you. Did you use the chance(s) to get into a lucid?
How do you get into a lucid dream from sleep paralysis?
How do you get into a lucid dream from sleep paralysis?
Kinda like quicksand, if you panic you'll sink deeper (waking up) but if you stay calm and ignore the scary shit (think of it like a movie or something, whatever you prefer) you'll slowly slip out of it into a dream state.
I faintly remember something about a woman that was haunted or possessed by a ghost and she randomly banged her head against stuff, and her eyes would engrave onto the surface of the hit object like a 3D color tattoo. Dreams are awesome. Also I remember some time ago I had this interesting zombie dream, I was chased by around three running zombies to the top of a skyscaper, for some reason I didn't even try to dodge around them or go back in the skyscaper and slam shut the door, I just plainly leaped off. I can still clearly remember the feel of wind blowing in my face as I fall down, and the fact that I broke my fucking neck landing on concrete. I'm not even kidding, it actually felt real. And then next thing I remember is that I raise up with no pain and then wake up.
I tried to do WILD last night, but I just kept waking up after dreamlessly sleeping for half an hour or so. :C

All of my lucids have come from in-dream reality checks. What exactly should/could I expect from the sleep paralysis phase?
I've never been able to even induce this state. All of my lucids have come from in-dream reality checks. Had a dream where I shaved my stubble and then my very ideally masculine facial structures deteriorated and I looked like a wimp.
yeah me too does this sleep paralysis method of lucidity increase the vividness of the dream or is it just less random
It's just a stage of WILD, wouldn't call it "sleep paralysis method" because you'll be going through it every time you do any of the WILD techniques. Vividness depends mostly on how well you can stabilize a dream, not on the method used to go lucid.
Ugh, still can't remember many dreams. I never wake up in the morning so I end up rushing every morning to get ready for school. Hopefully summer vacation fixes this. By the way, any tips or techniques on recalling dreams in the morning, like a way to actually remember to attempt recall, etc?
Oh man, not going to school today was a fantastic decision. I woke up to pee, then went back to bed. Dream time. I was in PE class, and the stadion had been remade, everything was orange and black and even the sky was an orange-yellow colour. The new PE teacher told us to do something and then we ran with her for a lap and a half. Skip. I went to the dressing/shower room, and that also was orange and black. Our old PE teacher (current) showed that he had a desk with two monitors in there. I didn't see this when I entered. Best thing I've ever seen in a dream. The two monitors were mine, the same ones I'm using right now. This is a dream. I tried putting my hand through my hand, and it worked. Looked like my hand was a hologram going through my other hand. I swished my arm through one of the monitors. Same effect, and same feeling. I felt the dream fade away so I clapped my arms together and did a spin. Dream stabilized. First time I ever did that. I tried raising my arm to do something, but that didn't work. I re-stabilized. Then I remembered that my mind and dream world probably will respond better if I said out loud what I wanted to do. This is the point where my sub took over, even though I was still lucid. I went to my german classroom by saying it and the school name. Now it got weird and less stable. The teacher asked only me to come in and she told me that she's the new professor of something and kissed me(wat). I told her that I was the new rektor/dean. Probably meaning that I was in control of the dream. The dream began collapsing at this part. A smiley-face appeared on the door, suddenly people were in, I was sitting down. I blinked, and when I opened my eyes I was back in my bedroom. I should of stabilized more. That was a fantastic experience though. First time I was in (near)full control and stabilized.
So I had a scary dream last night. Not a nightmare. It's just a scary dream unless you wake up crying. I was in my house, there was no way to get out. The lights were slowly going out, and I got separated from the people I was with and I couldn't find them. There was something in the house with me, waiting in the darkness and it would get me too, if I couldn't escape. I think I may have had this dream before. This was one of those times I am SO glad that I'm aware that I'm dreaming (but not lucid) in my dreams. Things were getting tense, I was in the last spot of light and there was nothing even left around me, and whatever it was was getting close. So I basically thought to myself "fuck this shit, I'm out of here" and woke up. I guess my attempt to become lucid in all my dreams at least partially worked.

Had a dream of DayZ last night.
http://www.thewilliammcshanefund.com/vote/ Vote for remee!
Remee is the only original thing on there :v:
Remee is the only original thing on there :v:
I wonder how "Nesl" suddenly boosted up to 29% in a single day. when it was barely half that yesterday I have a feeling some of these products are trying to spam/rig the votes. [editline]27th May 2012[/editline] They posted it on their page 9 hours ago. No wonder.
In the past, I suffered around 10 years of night terrors, almost all based around this toy called a 'boglin'. Any of you blokes had night terrors? I'm interested in what others might have experienced in theirs.
I dreamt I was holding a lynx down because it would kill me otherwise. Actually I called it a lynx in my dream but it was really a panther. It was really hard too...I was using all my strength and I knew if I let up I would be fucked. I also had a reoccurring dream that I was taking a test that was too long and there wasn't enough time to finish. I have one of those about once a week. Damn university trauma... I dream every night and remember them every time.
I had a dream that I was a magnificent giant crayfish monster in the waters of southern Australia. I used my pincers and magnificent giant crayfish size to terrorize the Australian population. After destroying all human civilization on the continent, I brought all the lesser crayfish to land to start a new and better Australia.
Simply beautiful.
