It started off a late day after a hard working school day. My mind went confusing, what would happen tomorrow, another challenge? I told myself I shouldn't be worrie since there's nothing to fear, they're just children and they can't hurt you. But after a time in my bed I was having these brain activities, toughs attacking me like the ocean in the movie 'Cast away' with Tom Hanks. I finally fall asleep, finally.
I Woke up in the middle of midsummer party on some backyard near my home. People was having a great time dancing around and eating fancy dinner. The sun bursted out glow into my eyes, I felt the true summer spirit by turning my eyes into the sky.
After a long day it became night. The rain was flushing away all the trash people have left on the ground. Later on I came home and I immediatly heard my phone ring. There was a guy saying "South/east on the field". Just like that I could see myself running on the road with tears falling from my eyes.
I came to the corn field. It was full of water, rain fall everywhere that I almost couldn't see a thing. But than I heard a voice, someone calling my name "Joakim". I panicked and ran around and around and sooner or later I found someone.
It was a woman on the ground, not just a regular woman. It was a woman made of mud. She slowly started to vanish into the ground. The water was flushing her away. I tried to rebuild her, to keep her human form. I couldn't let her go. When I realised there was nothing I could do I let her go. As she turned into mud and became a part of the field, I felt nothing but sorrow. I sat there on my knees, starring into the skies feeling the rain falling on my head and cried.
Now that's how my dream was a few days ago.
I find this dream like this "I've lost someone that I love and I cannot take it back". But I can't figure out what.
Have a nice day
I have a few questions about WILD, if someone with experience could clear some things up for me.
I plan to go in via sleep paralysis, now I've read quite a few tutorials and a few of them say that I should have a mantra and repeat it as a way of keeping myself awake. Does it have to be a mantra? Could I think of a song or would that be too stimulating? Also, do I have to lay on my back with my hands on my chest, lots of tutorials mention this but some also say I should just lay however I'm most comfortable. Last question, when I finally get to the sleep paralysis, how exactly do I enter the dream? Do I think up someplace in my mind and start interacting with the environment there?
It's just a stage of WILD, wouldn't call it "sleep paralysis method" because you'll be going through it every time you do any of the WILD techniques.
Vividness depends mostly on how well you can stabilize a dream, not on the method used to go lucid.
would wild be a good way to get used to dream stability?
ive never tried any induction methods, i just really rarely get these 30 second or so lucid dreams that are all blurry and barely even feel real.

As far as I know, you can repeat anything as long as you can concentrate on it. I've not experienced this so Orkel is probably a better source, but after you get into sleep paralysis you might start hallucinating and that can be scary as all fuck (though this might just be placebo since everybody talks about it being bad). I *think* you just...pop into the dream, for lack of a better word. After you assume control, you can change it to your liking.
Is there a way to go into sleep paralysis without it being scary as fuck? I've been in it multiple times, and I saw witch ghost staring down at me and a blue demon also staring at me. Scary stuff yo.
I've started suffering from major insomnia for the past month, I think the longest I went was 81 hours before I could actually fall asleep. I've been combating it with some quantity of Mexican ibuprofen which has let me sleep, but given me weird fucking dreams, and I usually forget them a few hours after waking up, just remembering how confused I was.
To me, it's worth it to actually sleep, but I'm going to start a dream journal to try to remember this bull shit, if anything moderately entertaining comes up I'll post it.
I just had the wierdest dream.
I was living in a house, with my friends as roommates. I have not moved out from my parents house irl yet, and remember thinking it was so awesome to be independent. In the living room, we had what was apparently called a ''Playstation infinity''. Thats right. Not a Ps2 or Ps3, but a Ps-Lying-eight.
We could play whatever we wanted on it, there was no limitations!
So, after playing all sorts of crazy games we could come up with we heard a loud noise coming from our neighbour. We ran outside to find out that our neighbour was infact Pippi Longstocking! And her house lifted from the ground, soaring up towards the skies.
We all started cheering like pirates and ran into our house, and followed her up into the atmosphere.
Up in the sky, we ended up having the most awesome pirate-battle ever. With cannonballs roaring past our heads and swordfights on the thrashed remains of our porches.
Thats when the airship came.
A huuge airship emerged from the clouds, with a speaker saying something like ''Surrender or die, you have entered our territory''
Pippi longstocking took a parachute and escaped. Me and my gang of pirates didnt have any parachutes however, and the man in the speakers was getting angry. A hatch opened up in the hull of the airship and out came fireballs, wich upon closer inspection was infact birds made out of fire.
They crashed straight into the broken remains of Pippis house like kaimikazes, and lit it on fire!
A bunch of them was now headed our way and from a stroke of panic i leaped out, and fell.
And thats when i woke up. The dream felt so real.
How did I not find this (these) thread(s) earlier.
Most convincing lucid dream I had:
Was while listening to Metal Gear Solid 4 soundtracks while trying to go lucid.
I remember walking trough my town, seeing this old man (that looked a lot like the old fella from the movie "Up" but then in real life with shades instead of regular glasses).
When the MGS soundtrack changed from slow and soft violins to drums and overall "exciting" music,
(I guess in the game this would be where you would enter combat or some enemy would appear)
the scenery of my town changed to a desert like, biome(?) The town was the same, but destructed with sand everywhere. There were fighter jets passing over, gunfire to be heard everywhere and combat all around me. This actually lasted for a minute or so (although, I can't be sure as time passes, oddly, in dreams) after which I woke up.
I couldn't actually control this dream though, and i'm pretty sure i've had lucid dreams in which I could change things, but these were not as clear as this one.
I have two questions to people who are more experienced in this:
1. How can you be sure you are lucid dreaming, and not just having a very vivid imagination for the moment? (This is mighty problematic for me, as I do have quite a vivid imagination to begin with).
2. Is Ideomotor response done in your dream or in real life?
If in real life, that shits real?! I've tried multiple times, and been busy with this kind of business for at-least 5 years (on an off, that is, I tend to take a break for a few months without actually thinking about it). It would be damn awesome if this is possible.
A few hints and tips for people who want to try this:
1. Try to use music. GOA music is great to start a lucid dream, it's a kind of trance that IMO doesn't ever really seem to drop (the bass). As such, you are kept in this mesmerized state where your mind just practically floats away. Sorry for the vague use of terms, I hope you can understand.
Example of GOA music is Infected Mushroom.
Note: Music does seem to stop working after a while, though. Use this to get the feel of lucid dreaming first, so you know what to expect and how to recognize it.
2. (not really a tip) The first few times I (supposedly) went lucid, the fact that you realize you are dreaming is such a shock, excitement, or whatever you might call it, there is a very big chance you wake up. Don't be dissapointed by this though, to me this seems quite logical, it's quite an experience!
So just keep trying, once this happens, you know you are close.
3. For people interested in this kind of thing, psipog.net. I always was sceptical about most of the stuff here, but most of it does seem plausible, and parts of it actually worked for me (channeling energy, lucid dreaming) (altough again, that might be my imagination).
I hope someone can awnser my questions about this, and I hope I helped out some other people still trying to start out.
I had a dream last night I made a terrible post.
I had two lucids last night. One was a false awakening, did a reality check on wake-up and it turned out to be a dream. Really surprised me, was so realistic.
The other lucid came mid-dream, I did a reality check while some woman was talking to me, found out it was a dream and the first thing I did was grab her tit for laughs and her reaction.
I had a dream about this long stretch of highway surrounded by a forest. Woke up when I saw a truckstop bathroom with someone eating a live pig in it. Shit was weird. :pwn:
Had a dream last night where I was like scaring the shit out of people.
And my cousin and her friend heard me yell: "Look at the fucking stars, oh god!" in my sleep.
I sleeptalk pretty often. There's a program that's supposed to monitor your sleep and record any disturbances, does anybody know what I'm talking about? If so, please link me/tell me. I'd like to see what goes on.
Was reading on stuff to do in a lucid and spotted this simple yet awesome idea.
"Ask/tell your subconscious to show you something amazing"
I'm gonna try that out tonight
So I realized writing about the dream as soon as I wake up is hard because I don't feel up to doing it in the mornings, and by the time I feel up to it I forget it.
Though I do remember last night's dream. I got a call back from Starbucks (the only place hiring in town) and drove in immediately to do an amazing interview.
Then I woke up.
They still haven't called me back...

when i was about 9 years old, i had a dream that i and all my classmates were lobsters, and i was seeking to overthrow the queen lobster (my social studies teacher). i led my classmates to ambush the queen and ended up winning a massive battle against her crab guards, and then another crab came out and gave me a scroll saying that i was the new queen of the crustaceans.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-18277074
Had dream where I was just walking on a grassy field. Then I abruptly woke up, and it felt like someone shocked my brain. I even jolted my head sideways and almost fell off my bed. It was one minute before my alarm goes off.
Wat.
I dreamt about Stevie Wonder again, this time he was trying to light my neighbor's trailer on fire while I watched from my porch.
He's always committing some kind of crime in my dreams.
I think I've been playing too many games recently. I dreamed last night about trying to solve a case with Cole Phelps, in which several people were found dead looking for all the world like they ate a live grenade. The perp turned out to be the Hunter; when we caught up with him, he shrugged his robe off like in Zeno Clash and beat the living shit out of both of us. I could hear one of my friends who played ZC before me saying, "Okay, there is no way this guy is blind." The last thing I remember seeing was Phelps going down after being repeatedly sucker punched.
I had this dream where I was hanging out with a drug dealer who was becoming increasingly paranoid, he thought two of his friends were going to the police so he killed them both, chopped them up and had them at bags at the front door. I was worried he'd go after me next, but it was one of those things where if I left his side he'd think it was me for sure. Then the cops showed up and searched his house, while interviewing me a puked some blood, then some actual puke, some kid caught a carrot or something orange I was puking in his mouth and I was like "nice bro" and i bonded with the police through that somehow (the fuck?) Anyways I think I woke up sometime around then, but fell back asleep for two more hours. In the second part the dealer was trying to frame me for the killings by making me touch the murder weapons. When I went to wipe my prints off he came at me with one of them and stabbed me. It ended with me chopping his head off with an axe. This wasn't a clean cut either, I had to hack it off, all the while he was screaming, shit was crazy.
His brother showed up and chased me in a lambo, then my dream turned into shitty knockoffs of mario kart and saints row, a lot of the models were the same in saints row and I was like how did they not get sued for this shit. I woke myself up because the games were that bad.
Now that school's finally out, time to experiment with sleepy dreamy shit!
I haven't had a decent dream in a long time. Banana toast here I come!

Will post interesting results
I controlled my first dream tonight :exited:
I was in a cross of Florence, Vinice, and Rotterdam(my hometown), I saved a girl I know, at the end we were hugging and I thought to myself:"If this is a dream, please let us have sex" (I'm a pervert I know), and next thing I know, we are actually having sex!
How amazing, I hope Ill be able to lucid dream someday.
I remember a night terror I had ages ago- my first one. It's weird how I can barely remember whatever's happened a few months ago, but I can remember a night terror I had 13-14 years ago.
I woke up in my bed and the room's dark. My bed's a wooden bunk-bed type thing, but no bottom bunk. My door faces my room at a 45 degree angle, and is open with a kiddie-gate in it. Closed. Bookshelf is near the door.
I look up at the celing, and notice that the only weird thing in the room is this little cone-like thing of a clay-like-substance, facing down with its base stuck on the celing. I thought it weird, then I went back under the covers. I then heard something akin to a hollow rubber ball bouncing around, and i look back. A large ball has grown on the end of the cone, hollow with three large holes in it. It's shaking violently and I almost pissed myself 'cause I was freaked out and scared so much. By now I'm feeling warm terror down my spine.
I hide under the covers again, then I hear a 'pop' and I feel this thing bounce off my legs right onto the floor. Just thump, right onto my covers with my legs under them, and then a second later there's a 'SLAM' on the floor.
I peeked over the ladder which is right next to my head, and is how i enter the bed. I man up a bit, jump down and dash for the bookshelf for the largest book I had to bash 'im with. It ended up with him chasing me and me chasing him in a circle, until I decided to jump onto the kiddie gate and scream for my mother- then I started puking blood and I woke up.
Thing about night terrors is that, they feel utterly real. You're not stuck in your bed like you're in petty sleep paralysis, you get to experience the terror as if it's real.
Last nightmare I can remember I was playing diablo 3 as my diablo character with my friend, and a really creepy ass humanoid creature enters the room, with its head almost decapitated but still attached by some few strings hanging behind its back. Then it pulls up its head, and it's a creepy as hell decayed Jesus Christ. Don't remember anything else.
Man that was weird.

It's a shame I can't remember the dream I had this morning. I think it was sort of a nightmare, at least it was some scenario where I was scared, but I remember when I woke up I wanted to go back to sleep to find out how it would end.
I had a dream where i was outside with some co-workers when i saw some sort of gang. There was a group of collage students sitting nearby drinking when that gang attacked one of them. At first i thought they were beating him. But then i noticed that gang of like 7-9 people had all knifes and victim was bleeding.
I was shocked and scared i just stood there in horror. Then they turned at me and my co-workers. They just charged at us. I took some steps back and got my own knife out. At that time they were all over us and trying to slaughter us. I looked straight into eyes of one and lifted my knife and hand in the air as in "i am not hostile don't attack".
It worked for a brief moment then when he was done with my co-worker he lunged at me. He tried to stab me repeatedly but i managed to grab his hand and stab him into stomach. He then fled while blood squirting from his chest. I ran to warehouse right next to me.
But outside slaughter continued. I have never felt such horror in nightmare... it was like real. Then time sort of passed by like hours without my notice and some guy and police came to question me. I was still in complete shock and fear. I just kept saying "they didn't want money they didn't want anything. They just kept on going and trying to kill us"
In all my life i have never... ever! Felt so scared after a nightmare. It was so real it felt like i would have been really there. Image of that slaughter is now probably forever imprinted in my mind.
I don't remember most of my dreams, but when I do, they're pretty awesome.
Last night I had a super-long dream where I was playing Minecraft with some friends on our private server. Suddenly, Kurtjmac of Far Lands or Bust logged on and began to fly around.
Eventually, things turned Skyrim-style, and I (somehow) ended up in a medieval prison, where we eventually made a prison break and down to a local village. I fought a villain that appeared to be Claude Frollo alongside a hot chick. Frollo stabbed me in the eye, so I reloaded (?) and managed to take him down.
The rest of the dream was basically Minecraft again, but with Skyrim graphics.
I really don't know sometimes.
I had a crazy long dream last night that involved me being on the run from the government or something, and firing lots of pistols.
Wonderful dream last night.
Mixed Super Mario 64, Monster Hunter, and giants the size of the empire state building. WITH co-operative mode.
This one is a bit dark but..I had a dream where some person who does shit to me in School like asking me all these questions that make me quite uncomfortable and who will randomly do shit to me all the time..Anyways
In the dream he broke into our house but I took a knife and stabbed him through the skull..He whimpered like a dog for about a minute but it did feel quite good at first but then I felt a small amount of sympathy but at the same time I believe that he deserved it.
I shit you not, this was my dream last night:
I met Bill Murray in a toilet store and we became best friends, but he refused to take a picture with me so I jumped off of the stores building, and then I woke up.
What
