Had a lucid yesterday, strange as always.
Was walking down my street, on the grass. Then suddenly I'm in college.
I meet my friends and then we speak, next thing I know I'm with my friend Niel and
we're behind the school gates. He says he's going to have a cigarette and tells
me to make sure the police don't see. I keep an eye out, but the police teleport near Niel
and put him in a headlock, I run away at this point and I realise that whilst I am still running
another friend of mine called Alan is chasing me, I notice that a police officer
is following us and then he stops us. Alan tells the police officer to leave me alone
because I am his cousin. I am not.
I then wake up in my bed and then realise that my friends are knocking on the door.
I answer it and they tell me.
'Steven wants to fight you'.
Another one of my friends stumbles along and says
'Steven wants to fight you'.
So, I'm walking down the street suddenly, on the grass.
And then all of a sudden I'm on top of a fence, it breaks.
I keep walking.
I then meet a man who I somehow know is Steven, for some reason I thought he had
PC Graphics, he bears no resemblance to anyone I know in real life, he says.
'You broke my fence, man'.
'I heard you want to fight me'.
'Nah mate, I was just wondering if you've got any weed'.
And that was the end.
I had a dream recently that I was at my computer, and then I got up and just started yelling "Come at me" because apparently I knew something was there. Something was there, and it came out running at me. I charged it yelling and punched it and it shifted to what sounds sleep paralysis. (I heard a humming noise, and everything was black but around the center was like a green aurora-like thing.) Has that shift from a dream to sleep paralysis happened to anyone else?
I think last night one of my dreams included computers; likely drawing off my fears of infection and things going wrong. The memories are vague, though, can't remember much else.
Aw man I've had computer virus dreams too. They suck.
Had two pretty rad dreams last night.
In the first, I explored an old tunnel that I found at a mountain. After a bit, I met a group of undead Roman legionnaires who had been there for thousands of years. They first thought of me as a hostile, but I did some hand waving to try and communicate that I'm friendly. They then let me come with them and showed me why they were still "living" inside the mountain. The answer was gold. They were mining an insanely huge gold vein, and opened up a room with loads of chests inside filled with gold coins. They told me that if I stayed there to work, they would give me an entire chest full of the coins. I then started mining, and woke up.
The other dream was about living in some mountainous village, which was led by an evil sheriff. I was part of a resistance group, and also a wizard. I always hid inside a stone sarcophagus when the sheriff came around, which happened three or so times during the dream. During the last one though, he found me, and his wife took my magic wand (I was a wizard, remember) and tried to fly with it. She went on the mountain's edge and waved it around and jumped, and fell down to her death. I found it hilarious. While the sheriff was distracted, I took a wooden stick and said "It's not the wand that matters, it's the wizard" and waved it, a large metal drill plopped out of the stick and I used to drill through the lock of a door holding us in, in just a couple of seconds.
I ran, and ended up facing a hydra with several heads. It bit my fingers and through my fingernails but it didn't hurt, just felt super uncomfortable. I lured the sheriff in after me, the hydra bit him with two heads and ate him. Dream over.
I hate when I have dreams that could probably be sex dreams but I never act on them and then I just feel bad. :( stupid mind, grow a pair.
I've been noticing something that's almost like a reoccuring dream, but not completely. I will have these dreams in different settings for different reasons and stuff, but basically what it consists of is me getting really angry at someone in my dream for usually no apparent reason, and then swinging madly with all my force to try to beat the shit out of them. But the twist that appears to be so common in all these dreams is that right when my fists are inches away from the victim, its like time slows down so it feels like im softly hitting them. But as i keep attempting to strike the person with all my might, i slowly begin to realize that my victim is getting absolutely mutilated, their body contorted and blood is everywhere, which sometimes frightens me within the dream because i didnt realize i was doing that to them. I just have this same basic dream alotttt, so do you guys have any interesting ideas on the symbolism/message my brain is trying to convey to me?
I dreamed last night that me and my older brother were being warped through time to save our mother (who was drunk at one point) and then we teleported into my room and he said "what the hell is that" and I said "what" and he opened my curtains and said "that" and it was a silhouette of a donkey in the distance and then i screamed and cried then I woke up and I haven't opened my curtains since.

I'm all up in your dreams yo
Have a dream i am watching a film.
all of a sudden i am in a room with matt groening and some random person. Something is trying to burst open the door.
I am the only one trying to stop it from coming in, matt groening and the other person are there talking as if nothing is happening.
I scream at them for help.
they can't hear me.
the thing manages to burst the door open, chases after me. Suddenly i am in a casino still being chased by the thing. It catches me. I am now inside a volcano, the thing has me tied to a table. goes to kill me with a laser, somehow the laser does not kill me, I am suddenly a pig, I try to escape by Running on a bridge.
Now it is basically this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNHFba0hgFQ complete with a hud and everything.
I am still a pig.
What the fuck brain.

So what have i learned from this?
One way or another my dream will end up being about video games.
Found a good technique.
For the most part if I ever have a lucid dream, it's the moments after I wake up in the morning using dream recall. I found out if I go back to sleep trying to recall the dream, if I get any sort of indication of going back under I rub the sides of my face and it immediately puts me all the way under. Kind of weird but amazing how quickly it worked.
I've think I've identified one of those "Dream Signs." I've noticed that, in dreams when I'm talking, I have a tendency to completely lose my voice, to the point where I'm trying to shout and scream and I'm barely making a whisper.
I get that too sometimes, and another "Dream Sign" of mine is that sometimes I find myself unable to run, only able to walk with difficulty. This is terrible when it happens in a dream where I have to escape, needless to say.
Also, one thing about my dreams is that most of the time sexual arousal can cause the dream to terminate and wake me up, though sometimes I can actually "get some". I dunno what factors determine whether or not I wake up if I get a "dream boner", but if anyone knows about something to prevent "premature ejection" in the dream-world, it'd be good to know (for all of us, mind you, not just me). Personally I suspect it might be due to overexcitement and a lack of dreaming discipline, but i'd be interested to know if there are any other defining factors.
I would suggest getting a lucid dream, then summoning a magic ring that will prevent "premature ejection" and put it on. It's kind of like self-hypnosis
Last night I was living in refuge, hidden in a cave. Every now and then, the place would get attacked by random shit and I'd have to defend. It was my daily life. But then my arch nemesis found me, we had an epic battle inside my lair. At the end he was holding my cat hostage, and gave me three seconds to surrender or the cat would die. He was up to two when I fired my gun at him, it distracted him and I did some kind of energy charge with it that blew the entire place sky high, but somehow me and my cat survived. The baddie was dead and dream ended good.
My mind is being too realistic, electronics and shit are all working properly. Dreams for me are often so realistic that I think what took place in them is real in real life until I realize it isn't.
Ugh, I also have no incentive to record my dreams every morning and end up never doing it.
This might be stupid but ive heard somewhere that Dreams recall everything that has happened in a day. SO what about Lucid Dreams then? If you take control wont this fuck up this ?

Well what can it fuck up? Your dream can't alter the past even if you have a lucid dream.

I don't recall flying to a secret moon base during the day, yet I dreamt about it before
Might as well go lucid and have some fun, dreams are dreams
Had a dream last night where i was siting in a car with other people and had to pee really bad but couldnt because we were moving so fast, i end up starting to pee my pants and in the dream i was holding it in. I woke suddenly in my bed and i was what felt like holding my pee and i ran to my bathroom and had to pee for a good 30 seconds. Neat way to wake up for work
So, this night I had a dream, that I had a dream that I was in a lucid dream.
Sucks it wasn't really a lucid dream, everything seemed real though, I was actually me, in my actualy house, and actual room etc.
Anyone else find they dream more, or atleast remember it and it seems more realistic like say if they've woken up in the morning and dozed back off for a bit? Must of had about 3 of those dreams this morning, all kind of semi-relevant to my thoughts.
Had a dream last night, first one in ages. I remember words being said concerning college, so it must've played off of a subconscious fear of not finishing what I started. I shouldn't be too afraid, since there's not much left to do, but on the other hand I SHOULD be afraid, since without that fear I might end up getting complacent.
I hurt my back yesterday and i was lying in my bed trying to go to sleep. I wanted to turn over but i knew it would just hurt my back more. I ignored the urge and kept thinking about stuff. Because of this, i accidentally put myself in sleep paralysis. I don't know how to describe it, maybe it was sleep paralysis in my dream, but i ended up feeling my limbs stiffen and lock. I was staring up on the roof and i heard foot steps outside my room. By this stage i was seriously freaked out and had realised what had happened. I kept seeing a shadowy figure darting around, standing at my bedroom door peering in, out in the hallway, he kept darting around he room. I couldn't call for help at all. I remember you can get out of sleep paralysis by holding your breath so i did. I jerked out and the room returned to normal, except for the fact my bedside lamp was moving around.
I've been thinking of trying this, but my dream recall is rubbish, I can almost never remember anything that has happened the previous night no matter how desperately I try - off I go to get a notepad for a dream journal and some bananas
Also sleep in general, I've found that I can't sleep if I put my hand under my pillow and has been like that for as long as I can remember...

you were lucky that, you didn't pee yourself on your bed.

I have a few questions.
Do you dream every night?
How long did it take you to start lucid dreaming?
Is there anything i can do to help start lucid dreaming?
Also.
I thought i was the only one who had computer virus dreams.
I had some horrible porn virus or something. :v:
Aight, good night.
I decided to quit TV Tropes recently and part of my dreams last night was me using it.
I have an absurdly uneventful life.

Well, it's a proven fact that TV Tropes will ruin your life.
On the other hand, reading a lot of it can make you genre savvy, maybe even to a dangerous extent.
I've had fevers but never fever dreams.
