One of my dreams last night involved Dr. Zoidberg fighting off a bunch of monsters that were trying to murder me. He was doing a pretty good job until I painfully died. I also lucid dreamt but I forced myself awake because it freaks me out too much. Every time I lucid dream I conjure up something to jump off of which wakes me up. And yes you can change the setting/bring in objects at will, or at least I can.
I have a few questions. Do you dream every night? How long did it take you to start lucid dreaming? Is there anything i can do to help start lucid dreaming? Also. I thought i was the only one who had computer virus dreams. I had some horrible porn virus or something. :v:
Normal dreams every night, lucids about 2-3 times a week Not sure how long it took, it's been so long (started in 2005). I'd guess around a month of practise. Find an awesome dream goal that you really want to do. And don't give up on practise, you need to be active.
I had a weird dream last night. First half, I recall something involving that "Rainbow Dash" creature, which frightens me greatly since I think I saw spectres of oily shadow somewhere as well. I hope i'm not being indoctrinated. Second half was about a weird computer that wouldn't shut down properly, though I didn't think to remove the cable. But knowing how my mind works, it's probably best that I didn't, since if I unplugged it bad things would've probably happened; best case scenario, someone would've gotten a bit pissed off, worst case scenario, it stays on, oily shadow-beasts appear, and I get violently raped by ponies. Thank god I didn't think to pull out the cable. On a subject similar to dreams, i've been playing Psychonauts last night, and obtained my Psi Blast for the first time. When I get back home, i'll be heading to Ford Cruller's base to grab the new Psi Power I got from the Rank-Up.
I'm going to get my dream recall back this summer, and get the lucids I need to achieve my dream goals.
Find an awesome dream goal that you really want to do. And don't give up on practise, you need to be active.
I guess this is what i fail at doing, every so often i'm like "Oh yeah, lucid dreams and dreams" but i always dismiss it as nothing, so i never do anything to help my dream recall because i forget.
I had a lucid dream without trying. I just suddenly realized I was dreaming. I was at my high school with a lot of people around. What was the first thing I did? I dropped my pants, whipped out my penis which looked a foot bigger than it really is, and demanded all the hot girls suck it. And they did. And then the dream ended. And I felt great that day
Had a dream in which I met my old girlfriend again. The rest of the dream was total fucking nonsense though, so it didn't really have any impact.
The thing about lucid dreams is, in order to do something, you have to know its effects, or have been taught it's effects. Eg: Mixing Plututonium and Uranium. We don't know 100% what it will do, so I'm guessing our brains would make something up. Just speculating.
There are no rules and or prerequisites in dreaming, you can do whatever you want and whatever you want to do will happen. Of course if you don't know something, your brain will ad lib it.
I have been lucid dreaming concurrently for the past week. I think it's because I can sleep in now that school (college) is out and my job doesn't require me to wake up early.

Flying/Space exploration/Creating awesome stuff/etc etc. NOPE BLOW JOBS. :v:
I wake often when I become fully aware that I'm dreaming. It happens so often i've kind of conditioned that when I get the feel of awareness, I know I'm going to wake up. But that has begun to cause some weird inception type fucked up dream inside a dream inside a dream stuff. When I go lucid, I wake up from my room but in reality i'm still sleeping but I think I've woken up untill something weird happens and I become aware again and then I wake up again only to find out I'm dreaming again. And something really scary happened some time ago. Usually when I get that scary feeling "something's wrong" when a dream is turning into a nightmare I become aware and I can wake up by squeezing my eyes open. But one day when I got one of the worst nightmares ever, I just could not wake up, I tried to squeeze my eyes open but I could not get them open. I could move my arms n stuff but I could not open my eyes. I ended up forcing my eyes open with my hands. Weird stuff.
Swear I almost had it last night. I was staying still in bed for an age when my whole body became sort of "fuzzy", and the rain outside my window started to sound kinda far away and quieter. Don't know why, but I came out of it fairly quickly. Going to try again tonight.
I can never get what I want in my dreams. Its like my dreams is a concious entity, and it hates my guts. Whenever I get lucid, the dream just fades and becomes less and less vivid until I wake up. I reckon this is just because I expect it to happen, though. :(
I recently noticed something in my sleep. I taught myself to have lucid dreams. It requires kind of an training but I got to it. So basically I've been forcing myself to have lucid dreams so often that sometimes I get to notice I'm in a dream when I don't want to notice it. It's like I'm having this really cool dream and things are special in it because they're unexpected and then "oh snap, I'm dreaming" and then it loses all the magic. And that makes me wake up just to find myself under sleep paralysis. Yeah, lucid dreaming makes me sleep paralysis now. How frustrating. Anybody here has sleep paralysis? Ever saw things or felt things while under SP? What is you method for snapping out of it. I usually count to 10 and then try to suddenly flip over until I wake up. Or else I try preventing it by trying to move myself right after I wake up from a dream. Usually works.
Dreamt I was out with friends and got stabbed in the chest again. I bolted upright and still half asleep checked the scar on my chest and I could swear it looked way redder than it had before I went to sleep. Checked again when I woke up this morning and I still think it looks a little redder...

I woke up from the stab and it was weird cause I could feel a cold from the blade carved in my chest all day. It didn't hurt. I was just feeling that impression in my chest. It was very awkward!
I was walking down a path which lead to an underpass, and there was some lovely psychedelic music playing in the background. Suddenly, I heard drums and with every beat, the paving blocks on the path fell away, and as I fell through I woke up. Turns out I fell asleep with my iPod in, and I must have been listening to 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' and drifting off. The song which woke me up was 'Under Control' by The Strokes.
How does it feel to be lucid anyway? I believe I've had one or two because I can remember thinking "hey! This must be a dream. I'll try to jump really high!" in one of my dreams but I still didn't feel as though I had full control of the environment and everything. Are you able to control everything in a lucid dream or can you train yourself to have complete control over your dreams?
I haven't tried lucid dreaming in a good while. Let's get back on track.
Had a semi-lucid last night. Was driving in a car with my father, and suddenly I see an asteroid fall from the sky and it explodes behind us and the blastwave makes our car jump. My father panics but I tell him "don't worry. this is just a dream" and we drive around more, while the entire sky rains hell on our town. Asteroids and explosions everywhere. It was cool as hell. Wasn't lucid enough to take control, but was just enough lucid to acknowledge it as a dream and not worry about the shit happening around me.
I had a few freaky dreams last night, and I'm getting my dream recall back :D I was in Michael Jackson's house renovating it or something, and there was this really tall room that you had to get to the top of it by sitting in an elevator that had no tracks of supports and was lifted by a single steel cable on a winch. Some dumbass made it swing around and I got smashed against a few walls and got one of my teeth smashed. I got pissed and then some Groundhog Day stuff started happening. Then I was a grabbing a sex doll's breast or something. Another dream involved a burrito place opening on my street. I ended up taking forever to make up my mind about what I wanted but a lamb, bean, and cheese burrito sounded delicious.
A few nights ago I had a dream that I had a lucid dream, and the lucid dream in the dream wasn't really lucid. It lasted about five seconds before dream me woke up and then the actual dream ended. Actually I suppose I didn't have a lucid dream in the dream, it was just that my dream self thought 'Yes, I'm going lucid!' and then the dream in the dream happened. It was really fucking weird.
So I had this dream recently, alright, I was back in middle school or something and I really had to take a piss. So I went to the bathroom which was incredibly run down and covered wall-to-wall in hilarious graffiti (I don't recall what the graffiti said, but I do remember finding it very funny). Thinking back, I now remember that I got a closer look at it and it was mostly Astrological symbols or something. Doubt that matters. Anyway I had to take a piss, so after unsuccessfully walking up to a urinal and being unable to take a piss, I take a stroll down the piss-covered walkway that was this public restroom in search of a stall. Evidently someone with a very loose understanding of euclidean geometry designed this place, because there wasn't really any rhyme or reason to the ordering of what you would find in this place. Eventually I found a nice, wide handicapped stall and I'm all all relieved, when suddenly someone grabs me from by the back of the shirt and yanks me out of the stall. It was some middle-school aged shitlord that looked like the "Gingers have Souls" kid, sounded like the frog from those Pantsylvania games, and had the general attitude of pretty much any fat shithead middle-school bully. So this kinda goes on for like a minute where I would try to take a piss, he'd pull me out and try to walk in himself, I'd yank his ass out and swap rude words with him(at my current mental level, mind you, I didn't revert back to my incredibly meek middle-school self for this), I'd go in and lock the door and try to take a piss. Nearing the end of the dream, he yanks me out and rounds up his "posse" which consisted of another fat middle-school kid and a twenty year old mexican, and ordered them to go tell a teacher (which was incidentally the name of my favorite teacher from high school). It was at this point I realized that shit like this would never happen in real life, and I think the dream kinda started falling apart. The dream quickly dissolved with the repeated chanting of the word "MAN MAN MAN MAN" in the same fashion that the character "Repair Man" from "All That" would chant, and the visual part turned in to some sort of retarded crossover between Putt Putt and the Panstylvania games where Rotton Rick would be fucking up the other cars and stuff. By brain decided that this was absolutely far too retarded to handle, and I woke up. Turns out I actually had to take a piss, so I went and did so. Returned to my room and as it turns out there was a bird repeatedly chirping outside my window that matched the chanting of "REPAIR MAN MAN MAN MAN MAN" that I heard in my dream. moral of the story: don't fall asleep when you have to take a piss or your brain will come up with really stupid shit in order to wake you up
Every time I try to MILD, my mind starts to feel weird, and this 'feeling' keeps me awake, regardless of what I do. Back to the drawing board. *sigh*
Just curious, if I take a vitamin B6 pill thats 100mg/pill would it damage my nervous system? You can find the pill here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000DJAQ4/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=woroflucdre-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0000DJAQ4 It was recommended by this site: http://www.world-of-lucid-dreaming.com/lucid-dreaming-supplements.html I want to take it because I am looking to have lucid dreams and I want to have vivid dreams, and I can barely remember tham as is. Remembering and vividy is the first step to lucid. So will it damage my nerves?
Had a lucid dream where i was laying with my girlfriend. It felt extremely realistic i think im getting the hang of controlling my dreams and remembering them.
Why is it that whenever I'm about to fuck the girl I love in my dreams, reality kicks in and I wake up. :smith:
I had a very interesting series of dreams tonight. Some dream before I woke up, and then I either woke up or got a false awakening, and kept my eyes closed and re-entered the dream. That was really interesting. I wonder if that's how WILDs start Then it was slightly odd since I became lucid but it was really unstable and when it ended I could barely see or hear anything. Then I had a really odd dream about stealing a heart for my dad and then two nuclear explosions go off.
Quick question: see how you have to stay still when doing WILD? Does the movement caused by breathing impede progress?
