Just thought I'd come in here and share real quick. I met this girl and we get along and all the other stereotypical stuff. But ever since we started to really talk and get to know each other, I started remembering my dreams when I wake up, and they've been COMPLETELY off of the wall and make no sense whatsoever. Otherwise, I pretty much don't ever remember dreams. Just thought that was interesting. Weird eh? :v:

Today I had a dream about how my family got a cottage, I got so stoked in my dream that I realised that it had to be a dream, so I did the hand reality check, fingers were normal, got even more stoked, checked again, I had 7 fingers on one hand :(
I had a dream where I was on the Olympic hockey team and we won because I scored the game winning goal. I probably should have known it was a dream when I did a back flip over a guy.
hey guys i get along with a ~~~~+**GirL**+~~~~
Right because I'm so awesome and all the ladies run to me. On a serious note. Does that happen with anybody else? Something specific makes you really remember your dreams?
Right because I'm so awesome and all the ladies run to me. On a serious note. Does that happen with anybody else? Something specific makes you really remember your dreams?
I usually remember my dreams doing really strange things like climbing into my car or unsheathing a knife. Sometimes even laying in a specific position in bed triggers memories. Then of course I will just have memories of things that never happened at odd times during the day.
I haven't had a dream in a while, but there's a particular dream i remember. I was a homeless man, asking for money. A man walks up to me and says something along the lines of he has plenty of money but he had to go home to get it, and then i see him run away. A few hours later i see a person walking torwards me, it's that same man. He comes up to me with a shotgun and says i have a headstart, i run into a nearby forest and attempt to hide from him. The point of view changes to that of the man that's hunting me, i see him find me and kill me. So deep and edgy, right?

Dream about going to Mars. Was pretty fun. Entered the atmosphere and there were cool fire effects from it. Landed in the small tube-shaped craft with two doors that took most of the side. Like a pod of some sort. After I stepped out, I almost got run over by a resource/mineral-collecting vehicle. Had four rear wheels (two per side) and two front wheels. But I dodged it, thanks to its slow speed.
But I thought didnt have an atmosphere
Last night, I slept for an inordinate amount of time, something like 12 to 15 hours, I don't really remember, but all I can say is NEVER DO THIS. You might see some crazy shit. I had this dream that seemed to last at least for days, but it seemed like it went on for weeks or months, and it was probably the scariest shit I've had to deal with in dreams. I was being consistently plagued by aggressive apparitions. I lived in a house that in the dream felt like my house, I didn't feel like an intruder, but it wasn't a place I've ever actually lived or even visited. In the dream, since it seemed to last at least several days, I had many separate in-dream awakenings because I would go to sleep in the dream, and each time I would wake up, it would take progressively longer for my vision to come back when I open my eyes in the dream. So when I wake up in the dream, I'm laying there in this fog, waiting for things to come into focus, in dread of what I'm about to see standing around my bed, and sometimes nothing happened and the room was empty, but then sometimes there's tons of old dead people who looked like they'd been dead for quite some time and I'm just laying there freaking out. In one of the delayed awakenings, I woke up to find some dead rotted old woman sitting on top of my chest and choking me and just generally scaring the shit out of me, and I don't remember exactly how I got out of it, but that wasn't even the worst of it because the dream just moved on from there. One of the other awakenings resulted in a level of fear that I've never really felt before. It started off fine because it was one of the times where there wasn't anyone around my bed when I finally got my vision back, but then I walk up the hall and I pass by a room where someone else was sleeping, and there's this black outline of a person, almost like a shadow, except it was solid and it was the blackest thing I've ever seen, and it's standing over the corner of the bed and doesn't move. I've had someone actually threaten my life with a gun, and even that level of fear was NOTHING compared to the fear I felt when I saw this figure. Looking at it felt like looking at the apocalypse, that's the only way I can describe it, it was this incredibly oppressive feeling of absolute impending doom. I didn't get a chance to really come to know what the silhouette was, because I only caught a glimpse of it and then I ran past the doorway and went to find someone else who was awake so I could talk to them and know that I'm just going crazy and that the shit's not real. And that kind of thing is what kept happening, I'd wake up to see some terrifying apparition or a series of them, run off to find someone and tell them hey holy shit I just saw this, I'm scared, and then I feel better about it and go to sleep again at the end of the day, only to wake up and do the same thing again in the dream. But I couldn't seem to get anyone to believe me about the black silhouette. Well nobody believed me about anything, but they seemed especially dismissive about the silhouette. Then after a few days I started seeing this dead baby, but during the 'daytime' of the dream. I remember sitting on the couch, trying to convince someone that I saw the silhouette in their room and that I've seen stuff in my room and all this other shit, then I hear and feel a consistent knocking on the couch. I ask if the other person hears it, of course they don't. I look behind the couch, and sure enough, dead ass fucking baby, kicking the leg of the couch. It was around this time that I guess my brain was like "fuck this dude, you're waking up for real, this shit is insane", because then I actually woke up and felt kind of like I was drunk, like it took a concerted effort to get out of bed and put one foot in front of the other. It was not like being normally tired, it was like being drained. I feel alright now, though.
Never tell your password to anyone. Geogzm: so i had a dream that some new teacher infected my PC and used it for his botnet, and he threatened to kill me if i tried to stop it, then there was a gap i don't remember and it ended in him molesting me and getting arrested Geogzm: what the fuck brain Geogzm: why yeah
But I thought didnt have an atmosphere
well it doesn't have an oxygen-rich earth-like atmosphere
Just had my first lucid dream. Those things are amazing, I mistakingly had a WILD I had a new washing machine and that was too weird and then I was lucid. Its amazing how much like the real world, you feel things which I didnt think you would and I tryed making things they were there but disappear after a second because I didnt focus I tryed to fly but I fell and "woke up" I walked past my mirror and it stared at me and was bald I was confused so I did a RC and had WAY to many fingers. In one word INSANE
But I thought didnt have an atmosphere

The atmosphere of Mars is relatively thin and is composed mostly of carbon dioxide (95.32%) The atmospheric pressure on the surface of Mars varies from around 30 pascals (0.0044 psi) on Olympus Mons's peak to over 1,155 pascals (0.1675 psi) in the depths of Hellas Planitia, with a mean surface level pressure of 600 pascals (0.087 psi), compared to Earth's sea level average of 101.3 kilopascals (14.69 psi), and a total mass of 25 teratonnes, compared to Earth's 5148 teratonnes.
Still thick enough to require heat shielding on entry though.
Especially considering interplanetary velocities. Just a trip to the moon will have you barreling into Earth's atmosphere at over 25,000 miles per hour, imagine how fast you'd hit Mars, especially if you're trying to make good time along the way. Even a Mars entry velocity of around 6km/s would show significant heating. Simulations also show that the atmosphere is thick enough that an aerobraking system would actually do a lot of good for you and greatly reduce the amount of propulsion needed to achieve landing, reducing the initial weight to LEO.
Had a lucid dream last night, pretty weird too: I was in my house, but all of the sudden it was like I landed in a parallel universe, I had knowledge of an entirely different timeline. Anyways the story behind it was that zombies or something of the sort took over as the main species, and the humans that were left were hunted down and captured. The dream was very short, but it started with me in my house sitting on the couch. My family then wanted me to go outside to see if any zombies were onto us and in my neighbors house (This dream had every detail mapped out) I saw 2 zombies through the window on the side of their house. I then ran back inside and told my family to keep still as I got on the couch and looked out our window and into the neighbors window to see if they were still there. Well I woke up because as I looked out I found that they were there still... and one of them was staring at me with the most horrifying glare that you could ever imagine. Whenever I have dreams like this they are either horrifying or recurring. Oh and for reference on that glare: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6flB0XvmTo All of my nightmares.
I had a dream last night where I was riding my motorbike on the road, and out of nowhere I low sided and started sliding. It seemed so real and I was really disappointed, until I found myself dropping from the sky still holding on to the bike, heading strait for the roof of some huge building. I don't remember anything after that. Sometimes I realise that I'm dreaming but I can't seem to get control, I just don't think to try anything even though I've realised I'm in a dream.
I hate my dreams, lately I feel like I have around four-five each night, and they're always boring as hell I don't remember it clearly atm, but today I dream about walking around some deserted carnival at night for what felt like way too long :x
Had many vivid dreams last night. Prolly because I took some vitamin pills and ate a banana before going to sleep. One was where my sister won 120,000€ out of lottery. Another was about me being an evil wizard called Tinkerbell, disguised amongst a bunch of people. Every now and then I would kill someone. We tried to find out which one of us was the killer. Every time I wanted to kill someone, I had to transform into my "true form" which was a giant, house-sized butterfly. Eventually I transformed in front of the others and they found out who I was, and I killed them all Yet another, was about travelling. Via trains and boats. I remember going on a train and looking out the window as we were going on a very tall, long bridge over a large canyon, and seeing an absolutely enormous walled off castle-like city in the distance. Very vivid, very amazing. Like a normal city, except it was completely surrounded by 100-200m high stone walls with towers and all, and similarly sized gates that led down to a port in front of the city with many ships in it. [editline]19th July 2012[/editline] Sometimes I wish I was able to draw well, so I could illustrate my own dream scenery perfectly.
i guess im sick because i had a shitton of very vivid dreams last night, two of which were lucid and i woke up with a sore throat
Had a first lucid dream, felt I could control it so I quickly tried to stabilize it, but I woke up :( Lasted only few seconds

Never man-made, always nature. Space nature, I guess. Planets exploding, galaxies colliding. Last night I was chilling in space, saw a supernova forming. conjured a small hilltop, had a picnic. i'm so boring
Well, I kind of managed a sort of unplanned WILD this morning. Being initiated around ten 'o' clock in the morning it was difficult to stabilize, but I managed and it turned out to be a delightful experience. I don't remember the dream from beginning to end, but here is what I do recall of it: At around 10:00am this morning, my mother came into my room to wake me up (I had gotten into a habit of sleeping in because it had been the school holidays only a few days earlier). Being me of course, I simply rolled over and went back to sleep. But it didn't happen straight away. I could feel my conciousness leaving reality and entering the dream world; it was than that I realised exactly what was happening. Because this WILD was unplanned, I hadn't prepared a proper scene to enter. So where else would my dream begin but in my own bed. I didn't bother with a reality check, I could tell this was a dream simply by my darkened and blurred vision. I didn't care then though, I looked into each of the rooms in my hallway, each of them exactly as I remembered them being. Although the scene was dark and blurry, I could still pick out the individual details of each room if I looked hard enough. Finally I walked out into the living room. I was certain I was alone. I don't know what came over me in this instant but I immediatly took off my pants and began to masturbate like a madman. I found this part of the dream particularly odd because in real life I generally have little-to-no sex drive. I tried unsuccessfully to use dream control to enlarge my penis, but I must have given up because next thing I know I'm out on the streets outside my house taking a walk. The streets were very dark, I was certain it was the black of night. But as I was fully lucid all the way through the dream, I knew I had nothing to fear. I was familiar with the streets as I had walked them many times before in real life. Eventually I turned a corner and expected to end up on another street, as that is where that corner had always gone to in real life. Instead, I ended up in a futuristic looking street which was rather populated and had small shops on either side. At this point the capabilities of my own mind fascinated me greatly. You cannot describe how interested I was to find out what else it could create. But I was upset because my vision was still dark and blurred as it had been the entire dream. First I spoke to myself "I will see clearly". This helped a fair bit but my surroundings were still not as vivid as I had hoped. Then I noticed my fringe was covering my left eye. In real life I used to have a very long fringe like that, but I have since cut it. I tucked my fringe behind my ear and miraculously everything was bright and vivid as if I were really there in that futuristic little street. First I wanted to read some of the signs on the shops, hoping I would be able to recall some of the signs when I woke up. Sadly I can't remember a single one, but there were mainly nonsensical gibberish composed of English words, like "Curse salon" or "The fishiest cubelord" (these aren't the actual signs, just examples of the sort of gibberish that they would feature). This overwhelming sense of curiosity leading the way, I decided to enter one of the shops on the left side of the street. It was a very small thing, not quite a shop but rather a very short hallway with a door at the end and a glass pane on the right side. Behind the pane was an asian woman, who I knew to work there. Curious as I was, I asked her what this odd little building was for. She told me it was a place to "watch movies with your friends". There was a little plastic basket full of brightly coloured glasses on the counter. I asked her for how much, she simply said "for free". This perplexed me, so I asked her how her little buisiness earned profit. Right then I realised there was an abnormally tall and muscluar man behind me in the line, and he seemed quite impatient; so I left the little building to avoid being pummeled. I continuted to walk down the street and it ended after only a short distance, leading to a place which was very contrasting to the hyperfuturistic street I just walked out of. In the distance I saw two boys around my own age. I called out to them, and at the time having a "I wonder what would happen if I did this" sort of attitude, I asked them if they wanted to go mining (I was thinking of Minecraft at this time). They responded with something along the lines of "Nah, we just want". Then I noticed a woodcutting axe sitting on the ground by their little campsite. It looked like a real life medieval axe rather than one out of minecraft. It was made from a brown-coloured metal, which I believed to be copper. I picked up the axe and began to cut down a small nearby tree. It felt more like real life woodcutting than anything Minecraft would have. That was when I woke up, just cutting down a tree. The awakening was sudden and unprovoked as far as I am aware.
I had a dream last night that I had to drive a train across California to San Francisco because my brother was completely incompetent and I kept that thing on the tracks like a pro
Has anyone ever had a dream in a different language that they were fluent in? I recently ran into some people who shared their experiences with foreign language dreams, and they claim it is a big deal.
i was in a van with some chick i'll never remember the name of and we were driving on a mountain road now, i have a super big fear of heights, so when we were driving, all of a sudden, we went right over the goddamn side of the road oh my god FREEFALL IS NOT VERY FUN D:
Alright... I had a strange dream yesterday night where i somehow was a Big Daddy from Bioshock and was fighting some... "thing" with my bare hands. Imagine Kane from the WWE (And fuck knows how, i don't know how this came across) but 10 times more of a uglier mother fucker and monstrous that its not even human anymore. I have no idea... On the bright side, i was a Big Daddy after all, just without a little sister. Or a drill. Must had been a Rosie then. Heck if i know. I'm not good at remembering dreams.

I just tend to fly to space, right towards the sky. My methods of doing "main things" like creating objects, changing dreamscene or flying to space, tend to be quite straightforward. I could give it a try sometime though!
I rarely ever have lucid dreams, but one in particular that I remember was after a day of being mad. It started out with me standing on a small neighborhood looking street, was wet and rainy and dark. I realized right then that I had control and looked to my left and saw an alley, it was really grassy and had bushes going all the way down the sides. So, I decided to walk down it, I remember the feeling of everything being very vivid, I could even smell the rain and feel the moisture. I walked a ways down this alley and came finally to an opening to my left again. I looked and there stood this tall building, probably 9-10 stories high. I stared at it for a minute(whatever a minute is in a dream) and decided I was going to kill everyone in that building. I started walking toward it and saw the entrance with glass door and a lobby behind them. I walked in and there were these couches right in the middle of the lobby, the floor looked like marble, the walls as well. There was this room to the right with a big sheet of glass as a wall on the front, so I could see into it. It was empty, and the lobby was pretty empty besides the 2 couches in the middle. But there were so many people, at least 10. The first person I went for was this security guard looking guy, I stabbed him with something. I never picked any knives or weapons up though. The dream people started to panic but never ran out of the building. I stabbed 2 more people then went into the glass room where I found some lady, I then started to throw her very hard against all the walls and the ceiling like she weighed nothing, she was just a ragdoll. When I finished doing that the guns started coming out, I looked and saw a line of guards storming into the lobby from the front doors, so I threw the lady at them and they just started shooting. After that they threw a grenade into the room I was in but I threw it back out, then ran out right after it blew up. After realizing I could just throw them around I started to literally use bodies as weapons by just throwing them into each other. But I also stabbed a few more. After all of the fighting in the lobby ended and they were all lying around everywhere I noticed an elevator directly across the lobby in the middle of the wall. I called it and sure enough there was a man inside, I did the same thing I did to the lady in the glass room. But when I was done with him I noticed the elevator wasn't an elevator anymore and that I was already really high in the building. When I walked out of the elevator room I was already on the roof of this building which had changed dramatically, it was now a dome like structure with thick glass and beams but some glass was gone. I got to the tip top and by this point the dream was on auto-pilot. I looked down and I was so high up, and there were just random beams cutting across the way down all the way down. I jumped and banged off so many beams then finally hit the bottom where I woke up. This entire dream had an odd look to it too, not like reality, but like a mix of real life and clay.
