i've been trying to get back into this recently
i've been keeping a dream journal for about a week so far
i've had 2 dreams a night for 5 days for a total of 25 dreams so far
i cant read my handwritting at all especially when i write it down hurriedly while half asleep
so far at least 4 of them involved undead of some form. in one dream i was a vampire, in the others there was some variation of zombie apocalypse. interesting patterns are emerging
when you guys keep dream journals, do you actually write it down by hand or just type it up on your computer or something?

i keep a notebook under my pillow
I kept a dream journal for a while over the summer. None of the dreams were related in any way, except for one. They always started off with me waking up and eating a bowl of cereal. From there, everything exploded.

I keep mine on my computer, not the best method since you can't draw out something as easy and it's not as available as having a notebook next to your bed.
I wonder if its possible to record dreams in future. That'd be awesome.

That's actually being worked on, so far we can get really gritty images of what someone can see when awake
I had an amazing dream the other night in which I married my Skyrim character. It made me feel very happy, but when I went to kiss her two things happened. One, I realized I don't know how to kiss an argonian. Two, the priest said, "Don't bother. That doesn't have an animation." I woke up when he said that, but the vows she and I took were stuck in my head for the next day. They were...weird. Definitely not from Skyrim, or anywhere else I can think of. Now I'm kinda disturbed because there is apparently some part of me that finds argonian females attractive.

Don't worry, it's just your lizard brain getting lonely and invading your dreams

Kissing an argonian...
Don't get me wrong, in skyrim, most everybody's cool with the whole inter-species thing, but...
damn
That wound hurt.
I have two questions about dream.
1: can you feel in dream? like pain, water, heat etc.
2: does time go slower in dream? Like 2 hours in real life, is 3-4 hours in dream.
Yes
And yes

1: to an extent, yes
2: no, it's often the other way around
I think the dream time really depends. You can get really long dream's and sometimes really short ones.
Pain in a dream is felt, but not the type of pain we feel in real life iirc, it's much less vivid, it's what your brain would think the amount and type pain you're inflicting is. It's much less vivid than real life. (iirc)
It's different for everyone.

FTFY. I went lucid last night and she was there. I figured, what the hell, how bad can it be? So I did kiss her, and...well, first time 'round it reminded me of the time I cut my tongue on a steak knife. We figured out a better way I don't really want to describe. I also discovered she tastes overwhelmingly like copper and her feathers are very soft. We then spent the rest of the dream fighting Legionnaires.
My first WILD turned out to be a complete failure, but i will still work on it.

For a moment there, I thought I had actually typed that :F
Also, I didn't know argonians had feathers.

I use these. Usually I fill them up like once every two months, although I do keep one or two around longer that I use One to record possible dream signs, continuity, symbols, and the other to record possible dream goals, and useful information/theories I can share with you guys. :v:
I've got a box full of them in my closet. I lost two boxes in a fire, but otherwise it's all good. :downs:
If I can find the motivation, I might start writing down dreams I'm not ashamed of.
Also I'm somewhat terrified of sleep paralysis but that's unrelated
I dreamed yesterday that i drived car with Hitler... That would have been so easy to figure out it was a dream :I
damnit, I was having a dream and I did the hand-through-hand reality check, but it failed.
then I was like "I'm pretty sure I'm dreaming" so I decided to try to walk through a wall (which almost always works for me in dreams) and that failed too
and then a few minutes later I woke up and realized it was a dream

They don't. They have scales.
In other news, still trying to get lucid.
Got a WILD after being woken up in the morning and deciding to continue to sleep. Was awake enough to result in one. I guess the principle of WBTB applied there.

She does, so do some others. Also, in my dreams, Skylai (my character) speaks with a different voice than I'd have expected. She sounds a lot like Miranda from Mass Effect 2, albeit a lot throatier like she has a bad cold. There's that and she is terrifyingly brutal. When we fought the legionnaires, she really tore into them. Apparently she likes to collect hearts.
I have the sudden urge to fap to argonian porn.
That's cool.
I mean, they're kind of cute in a weird reptillian way, but thats where I draw the line and get back on topic.
Tonight is the only night I get anything close to a "normal" sleep schedule, and I'm not sleeping in my bed, that usually gives me a better chance for awesome dreams. Wish me luck.
I kinda dream passively, haven't really actively tried to lucid dream yet, but still, I find the subject pretty interesting.
Dreamed I was in a truck with some others, evading the US Military for some reason through American Backroads at night. Remember firing some RPG-7s at pursuing Military Humvees. (Even though that wouldn't make any sense, backblast would probably wreck the truck) I don't think we were terrorists, we had a good reason for it... Eh, memory's a bit fuzzy. Whatever, kinda neat dream.
I'm falling asleep right now, think I might try to WILD
Buuhhh so tired
