I have a small problem with lucid dreams. The few times I realize that I'm in a dream, no crazy or exciting ideas occur to me, so I just sit there for a few moments until the dream dissolves.
Any advice?
Had a rather vivid but brief lucid dream this afternoon that turned into a false awakening.
I was in the front of the line of some place that was selling things to give to charity (Looked like I was at a street fair so it was merely a tent and one of those folding tables and the merchandise hanging on the walls). I guess I was buying something because the lady working there was adding up what I bought and calculating the percent going to wherever on a single sheet of plain printer paper. This is what lead to me figuring out I was asleep. Since the paper was face up on the table, I decided to compare the pricetags on the products with the numbers on the paper just to make sure I was paying what I was charged for.
I look at the first tag. 500 (what currency I don't know). I look at the paper. 500 with 61% written next to it, which I assume was what was going to charity on that particular item. I look at the next tag. 303 (seriously what am I paying in). I look at the paper. No 500 or 61% anymore, just 303 with a horizontal line above and below it. Immediately I go "Oh. I'm in a dream.". Instantly my body feels more...there, I suppose you can describe it, and I walk off to just check out the place since I didn't really feel like doing much this time. Only notable thing I did was a few minutes after was flip over a jerk's car (for, well, being a jerk). It was shortly after this time that I "wake up".
I'm in my room laying on my mat when apparently my roommate who is in the other curtained off area of the living room comes home with a guest (which we aren't allowed to have, but he's done it before so it's not out of character for him). His guest immediately comes into my room and takes the headphones off of my ears (which I did prior to sleeping), plugs them in to the headphone jack of the TV on the far wall (which is my computer in reality), and on the wall closer to me he turns on the Nintendo 64 on the dresser and turns on the TV there (Nintendo 64, sold a month ago; dresser, nonexistent; TV actually is the same as the one I do have but is on the floor).
He plays a hilariously bugged version of Super Mario 64 where he managed to get a star upon exiting the initial pipe, got the big star upon entering the castle, and had some models randomly change. The best part of it was when he got the big star and turned into a winged koopa shell and flew around the entrance, being looked at by a toad whose model was replaced by bowser, and then went to the end credits where peach was also replaced by bowser. I started realizing I was still asleep at that point because that was just too silly for me to take. Then I woke up because my roommate annoys me even more in my dreams than reality and I just couldn't have that.
I had a dream that me and two random people were robbing a house and all I took was a jacket. Then suddenly the two guys ran out of the house abandoning me. I then heard police sirens out the front of the house. Then I climbed out of a window and dived into some grass and waited for the police to pass before running off. That's the first time I can ever remember successfully escaping anybody in my dreams.
Had another dream about STALKER.
Also had a confusingly weird but awesome dream about a childish book about illness that somehow turned into a more adult surreal-comedy movie. It was pretty funny.
Also, one of the lead characters was played by Brendan Fraser for some reason. Not sure what that was about. Decided to write it down in a dream journal because I remembered such an unusual amount of it.
Heh. I don't really try to lucid dream, and I haven't ever had one, but I know what its all about.
Last night I was having a crazy dream, and then I asked myself if it was a lucid dream and I instantly woke up. Then I was like yeah I guess I went lucid for a little bit. And then I got out of bed and continued on with my morning, just to wake up again.
That's some inception shit.
1. Plug all toilets in office building except one on top floor.
2. Attach man-sized barrel to toilet.
3. Flush 50 times.
4. ???
5. Outer space.
The fuck are you doing, brain? That was the worst space entry ever.
Last night I had this dream about this weird Nintendo theme park. It was pretty bad ass too.
Had a dream that me and my old crush were stuck in North Korea for some reason or another. During our journey of escaping the country, we grew closer together and the dream ended as we crossed the border and kissed for the first time.
Another was about running up a seemingly endless spiral staircase (walls were light brown) together with a bunch of other people, with an unnaturally fast werewolf chasing us up the stairs. Every now and then I'd look down the middle of the staircase and the werewolf would go up at insane speed bursts and eat the slowest member of the bunch and then continue upwards towards the next victim. I think it was like 10 metres below me by the time the dream ended, I was prolly the next to become eaten.
"Unnaturally fast werewolf"
because you really know that REAL werewolves don't run THAT fast! :v:
I had a dream last night. I don't remember anything about it but a sense of anxiety, like, pure anxiety. Nothing else.
Well last night I had my first lucid. The dream had me in my high school again, I had no shirt on and no one seemed to care either. I got into my class but it turned out that the schedules were mixed up for the day and I had to go to another class. As I was walking down a hall I noticed I was dreaming when I was suddenly waring the same shirt I had on when I went to Hurricane Harbor the other day. When I first became lucid I think I was half awake because I could feel my real body and was in third person until I rubbed my hands together. After that I decided I'd just run around the school and it seemed the halls were forming around me. Some points I would jump up into another hall and land on that one's floor.
The thing is I woke up once from an alarm then went back to sleep and I can't tell what one I had the lucid. Either it was interrupted or it turned into a normal dream because I don't have any memory of it past me running around my high school.
awe yeah, I became lucid during my dream and actually managed to stabilize it and stay in it for a while
and when i woke up i stayed still and got back into the dream, even multiple times
i didnt really do anything, i sorta just let the dream carry me around, but i still think it was great practice
Last night, dreamed about a girl and a horse I think. I waked up and wrote it down on a paper, after that i went back to bed (am working on recall dreams).
When I woke up again and check what i wrote, I wroted nothing. It turned out what I wroted down did I in the dream, not in reality... so I kinda had a dream in a dream, lol
girl and a horse, eh?
:quagmire:
I dont want to go into details, but it was something about cooking too.
But I don't fully remember.
I had a dream where I was in my basement and saw this other room that is a recurring element in some of my dreams. I immediately say, "That room only appears in my dreams, so I must be dreaming." I do a reality check, and when my finger goes clear through my palm, I say, "Huh, everything's fine. Must not be dreaming."
So close to lucid. :v:

I haven't had any lucids in a while, but I did have sleep paralysis a few times. That was pretty trippy, but they always are I guess.
I had a dream while camping that Bane was wearing Willy Wonka clothing and killed anyone who wasn't friendly
I hope to meet him in my dreams again, he was super cool
*sorry for any spelling errors I'm currently on a large combination of pain killers from having all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed*
I had the strangest dream yesterday.
there was this crazy lady that was telling everyone to do a test.
the test was completely nonsensical and if you got any of the the answers wrong you died.
strangely I stood up and said "just a second I need to leave for a moment" I tap the right side of my chest lightly and disconnect from the universe as if it were a server.
I reconnect shortly after and I end up at my house soon the same women showed up at the house in a mini van and she left shortly after.

Thanks, next time I'll try to meet my sub. I just hope that it take a lot less time for my next lucid.
Wet dream that was somewhat awkward because it was with my ex and she was living in my house for some reason. We were doing it constantly and in different positions every time, but not just for the sake of having fun but literally to cross off the position on some list we had.
Then it all ended terribly and became a nightmare that resembled our breakup. Guess karma did a double whammy on me.
ive never had a lucid dream i might as well try today any advice?

Trying isn't enough, if you want a lucid dream you gotta practise for weeks.

Had a cool dream last night. Was in an alternate reality, where cars hadn't been invented. The landscape was kinda post-apocalyptic but not quite, people were living just as usual. The air was brown and most of the land was desert.
I brought my own car and drove around, people were wondering what the fuck it was. After it broke down in the desert, I found a newspaper. Printed on old, cheap paper, I stared reading it, hoping that my brain would create something. And it did.
I only remember a little though. One was the largest headline on the front page, titled "Israel's army is now 50 years old!" with a picture of tanks taking up 1/3 of the page.
Another article was about "King Bashar" who "once again had arrived".
Also something regarding country borders.
But then I woke up.
Anyone ever had something like this before? It isn't so bad now in recollection but during it was one of the worst things to ever happen to me, if not the worst. Remember to consider the terrible psychological state in nightmares.
I was stuck in a state of what I imagined as tripping the fuck out. At times it was tolerable, but I couldn't control my mind. It would go off into tangents about random things and everyone I talked to seemed insane. I also had nightmarish visuals like shadows and shit. I couldn't type or speak properly at the hardest moments. When I was being held it turned into intense bodily pain and I had to fight the person off. Animals talked to me and it seemed like everyone hated me. Earlier in the dream I had a sort of understanding it was a dream, but later when it got harsher I thought it was real life. I was ready to kill myself because I thought there was no end. I had several false awakenings, during these I would go and try to get help but I slowly lost lucidity again and would delve back into madness. I was unable to communicate because I garbled everything and people would sound completely different than what they actually said. At one point I found a cure, it worked for a little bit though but it didn't sustain. I had been told I ate a bad pizza. Later as I was again tripping the fuck out I got on Wikipedia and searched for "pyromancy" the name of the disease. It came up as a mythical thing, in which case there was no cure. At that point I was extremely distressed and worried I had to kill myself to escape. I woke up very sweaty at some point soon after that. I tried to scream for help several times but nobody would hear me.
It also spanned several days in the dream.
...well fuck you too, brain.
Lucid sex dream, all good. Going at it, etc etc. all of a sudden she's like "yyyeeeeaaaahhh we're done" and I'm like oh okay well now what and then IN A LUCID DREAM she was like "eh you're not very good. also you were sloppy are you drunk?" "...no." "oh. well whatever I'm not doing this anymore until you get less bad. Call me when you learn. Also I talked to -imaginary name- and she agrees with me. Now get out."
What the fuck. The sad part is I'm not entirely sure WHEN the dream got away from me.
Last night I had a dream that I was with three friends...who I don't remember. And we were resistance members deep within the enemy lines, and we had to sneak into an enemy base or something. Our high value mission was the assassination of a foreign gentleman who we could recognize by his luxury car. On the way there, we were compromised and had to make a run for it. Arriving at where his car was, we realized he wasn't there. There was a note left on the seat, and as i turned to read it, the captain of the SS came out of the blue and shot us with his Luger. I staggered back and saw a column of friendly troops marching up the road, led by who I remember was Inst. Rotenberg from Field Operations two months ago. The SS dude jumped down and hid in some crates next to the car. Realizing that we were in friendly hands, I pulled out my pistol and emptied its magazine into the back of the hidden SS captain. One of my friends asked me what the hell I just did, and I grabbed him by the collar and said. "Don't you realize who that was? That guy was SS!" He proceeded to pull a rifle down from its shoulder sling and shoot me twice. At this point in the dream I actually thought "that really didn't hurt". I was probably thinking about the impact of airsoft rounds, really. But anyways, at that I realized he was a double agent. So I reloaded my pistol and emptied a magazine into him, too.
what does it meaaaaannnn
Also a habit I've been starting is drawing what I remember from my dreams. I'm an artist so I like to take things in visually rather than write them down, especially if my dream is based more on what things look like instead of the events taking place. So in my sketchbook, you have random pages that are part of an entirely visual dream journal.
I have had suffered night terrors for ten years- I can recall my latest one. It sounds like it's nothing much compared to the others I've had, but it's one of the scariest.
I wake up, curled in a ball, facing the wall. I do my little night-terror check- I hum. If there's no sound, I need to go the fuck back to sleep. There was no sound.
So I hid under my covers and curled up tighter, trying to get back to sleep, until I heard heavy breathing behind me, VERY heavy. Like hyperventilation heavy. I curl tighter and cover my ears.
Next second, the breathing was inside my ears. Each breath was like a scream and each inhale was like a punch of terror to my brain. I woke up from it 10 or so seconds later, and i didn't sleep again for that night.
So i've been trying to WILD for some days now, but i have problems to keep myself awake long enough. My method is to keep myself active by visualising different activities and scenes, for example wandering around Kakariko village or playing games etc. Any hints or "guidelines" to what i should do from sleep paralysis?
Also, have anyone any experiences with using binaural beats to induce lucid dreaming?
My problem is getting to sleep paralysis. I fall asleep too fast.
I've almost gotten there once and that was it.
I might of done it once before that as well but it's really hard for me.
Had a dream that I could travel back in time using my samsung galaxy S3. I tried to save some (only in-dream) important historical figure from getting driveby'd by Al Capone. I tried so many ways, but he would always end up dead by a hail of Thompson bullets. At one try I even got in the line of fire myself, trying to get the attacker on camera to have proof against Capone, but got fucked up good, could feel my bones shatter from the impacts.
I managed to save him on the last try by using my phone as a huge alarm thing to scare Al Capone away, but I got caught by the police. I convinced them that I'm from the future and they stopped pointing their guns at me, and then another time traveler appeared behind him and we broteamed and the dream ended.
Also had a lucid dream, had a sword fight with a big monster.
For some strange reason i can still remember a dream that i had when i was somewhere around the age of 3, it was more of a nightmare to be quite honest, it was about the time when my brother was starting in year 6 and for some reason i was scared for him, i also remember that my other brother slept in my room that night so they wouldn't wake me up when they went to school so i had the luxury of sleeping in his comfy bed, i fell asleep quickly and i visualized what the school halls would look like, it was a long pale white corridor and there were large green double doors that towered over me, then everything started to speed up, as if had hit a dial that changed the speed of the world around me, and i started to run, then as i came toward the door 3 figures emerged quickly, they were these guys:

(On a side note, that episode scared me the first time i saw it, which was probably the same night that i first saw the episode)
And as they emerged from the door i quickly turned left or right to another identical corridor with the same door, i was still going at the same speed and the exact same thing as before happened, this went on for about 2 dream minutes and i woke up, went downstairs and saw my mom and dad talking to each other like they were having a serious conversation about something, then they calmed me down and sent me back to bed.
That is probably one of my most earliest dreams that i can remember so vividly that i can actually think of.
I had a dream last night where I was in a desolate grassland. In front of me was the guy who hosts AFV and he was saying something like "welcome to America's funniest home videos blah blah blah". I looked around and saw those little demon things from LoZ: Wind Waker surrounding me in a semi circle behind me chanting something. I don't remember a lot of it after that, but I know that at the end, an angry Seth Rogen came out of nowhere, ran at me, picked me up, and through me into the floor really hard, and then I woke up.
