Had a dream that doctors accidentally erased my consciousness by pushing a lever on a control panel. The doctors said sorry, and I was convinced that they erased my consciousness. I was pretty stupid in my dream, because I still retained my consciousness because I still remembered people, buildings and memories. It was not only till I woke up, I realized I had been fooled by my own sub-conscious.

basically it's high quality
Last night i woke up in cold sweat in the middle of the night. What i dreamt about? A french stone gargoyle coming out of the darkness next to my bed and saying "The greek is coming" (or something in the lines of that. Something about the greek..).
It was freaking horrible!
I've been thinking heavily on joining the armed forces soon and last night I had a dream that as soon as I finished a random day in high school that I signed up to the Marines, and within seconds I was in Korea for some reason fighting. It was intense and at the end I was writing a letter to my parents that (because of the somewhat immediate transportation to Korea) were never told I joined the Marines. It was really weird and sad towards the end.
I had a dream i was on a boat a couple nights ago, then we see some dolphin fins and decided we wanted to go to swim with them. So we get into the water and a guy gets way ahead of us and hes right up next to the dolphins, i then look under the water and see its like some kind of african tribe swimming with dolphin fins attached to their head. I was like they are not dolphins guys run! and they dragged the guy under the water and then i woke up as we were swimming away. I also have dreams alot that im god and im flying around cutting people in half. One time i had a dream i got god to fall in love with me and i had sex with him and stole his powers (he was a man to, was weird) then i became god and created a new better world where everyones existed the same except we had no faces so we wouldnt judge eacother, and then i brought people from the old world over to be slaves.
So my most recent dream involved, among other things, jumping between locations and scenes, and interestingly, featured one part where I was walking to a building across a field. The interesting part was that while I started off running for a few seconds, it immediately became incredibly difficult to move or walk properly, probably real life reflecting the dream. Anyone else ever had that happen to them?

Also does anyone have dreams when you're in water or something wth sharks or gators and its like impossible to lift yourself out of the water?
I had a really weird fucking dream when i was at my friends, it's the only thing i've had in a long time i can call a nightmare, but it wasn't scary as much as i woke up extremely angry, like ready to punch a hole in the wall.
Basically in the dream i got up to take a piss, and when i went into the bathroom, my friend was there looking in the mirror (not creepily, just kinda tidying up). I hear him mumble "eh i've gotta shave i think" and I look at him and laugh "haha you can't do that! It's no shave november!" to which he responds "yeah but i think i really need to shave". I remember that making me really fucking mad and I was like "fuck off dude you can't do that" and then I woke up still angry.
It was scary.

What the actual fuck?
Lately, I've been having dreams about taking drugs, especially heroin.
How can I stop them from recurring?

Go to dream rehab.
Had an interesting dream last night. It started off with me trying to fight off a home invader at a place I used to live at and getting stabbed to death, although I don't realize it at first as I became a ghost when that happened. He leaves, and about 10 minutes later one of my classmates comes to the screen door. He looks straight at me and says, "Hmm, I guess no one's home right now.", which tips me off about me being dead. After failing to get his attention by waving my arms and yelling I try opening the door and pulling on his shirt which surprisingly works. He's pretty spooked by this, but comes inside anyways. I manage to explain to him the situation via pen and paper and get him to call the police. Realizing how little I'm actually restricted by my death, I go onto my computer and try to contact my mother, and then I woke up.
I looked at my fingers trying to do a reality check, i remember they were like 4 fingers and then i woke up :v:
Is it really possible to dream that you have a lucid dream? I had a long one this night, but I don't remember much of it now, and I don't remember recalling anything from waking life during it.
I had a pretty weird kind of dream a while back where it was like I was lucid but I wasn't. I didn't know I was dreaming, but in the dream I figured out I could alter the environment and really everything about it in any way I want.
And somehow I thought it wasn't a dream? Bah.
I had a dream that I kept seeing people in my house, then I had to drive to the hospital for some reason, but got lost and went to a football game instead.
got my remee today.
good thing it feels comfortable to sleep with.
yay

some guy rambling about lucid dreaming with a couple of funny parts
I found his channel not too long ago. Quite fun to watch in between with some nice information here and there.
I would get a remee, but I am in russia. Shipping might take a huge lot of time, and will cost a lot too.
I would get it simply because it's impossible to friggin find a good mask for sleeping.
some first impressions of the remee. it's extremely comfy, the build quality is excellent. the programming works well, some have reported problems but that's probably because they're doing it wrong - you need to click the button at the right time and have a dimly lit room so the light sensors only pick up the light from your screen. it's very easy to reprogram your own settings in, and it looks cool (dem flashing lights man)
gonna go to sleep in an hour or so and report how it worked tomorrow, although it will probably need a few nights to get the settings just right for my sleep cycle and tweak the lights' brightness to fit my eyes (too dim and they're not gonna do anything, too bright and they'll wake me up)
GOT MINE YESTERDAY! best surprise ever, also IT WORKED first night got lucid three times :D
someone was successful with it :v:
tried last night, it was too bright and woke me up :I
tried last night, it was too bright and woke me up :I
lower the brightness then, haha
did you go straight with the brightest stock setting?
It was on medium, I thought i could handel it. Checked before I went to sleep, and I thought it was good.
Gonna customize it for tonight and try low.
Is it a good idea to start lucid dreaming with a remee?
My subconcious is slipping into my dreams as a person.
Its apparent becuase of several reasons.
-I feel I know the person in real life
-I cant remember any detail about their looks other than their "Color"
-They are friendly to me
-I have a very unique feeling about them. I cant describe it. Kind of a mixture of nostalgia and bliss.
I say "They" because it has no gender, its odd. But they have been showing up in my dreams recently as main plot characters.
I used to lucid dream a lot and talk to it. When I say color, I mean it has like an aura around it. Yellow was the most recent.
Try to fuck it.
On a serious note, god damn, wish I could speak to my sobconcious. We have some stuff to discuss.
First night with the remee was about tweaking the settings. I actually woke up before the lights even started flashing (on both tries during the night), so clearly I need to adjust the timer shorter. Low brightness is the best for me. Tonight will be tweaking further!
I was about to leave the clothes store with my friend when the salesman grabbed my arm and said,
"Hold on, I have to show you something"
He pulled me over to a clearance rack and pointed at some pants similar to the ones I was wearing.
"Look, we just put all of these out and they're just like the pants you're wearing"
I felt the material of the pants before me.
"No they're not, these have a different pattern and aren't even woven the same"
I could tell that they weren't going to be as durable as the pants I was wearing which were made by 5.11. The salesman stalled, and began assembling a pellet rifle and target system.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
"Hold on..." he stalled. He was relentless.
At this point I was beginning to feel bad about making my friend wait at the front of the store for me, but I also didn't have the assertion to just leave this guy who so desperately wanted to sell me something.
The salesman looked to his coworker,
"Hey, where should we shoot this at?"
"Back there is good", he muttered. He gestured towards the back door and stayed focused on the papers before him, never looking up.
I followed the salesman out the door. When I stepped outside, I didn't see the salesman anywhere and I was somewhere that I was very familiar with. Suddenly I was standing in my back yard with a loaded pellet rifle in hand. I slowly walked towards the short wooden posts that mark where my yard begins to slope downwards. When I got close to them and could begin to see what was down the hill, I saw six or seven deer laying down. I began to inch my way a bit closer, keeping my feet light and starting to raise my rifle. I was't sure if I should shoot for the deer or not with the confusion of what was going on still pressing my thoughts.
Then I saw a fully matured tiger. Crawling low to the ground in the direction of the deer, I could feel my heart rate increase dramatically and my muscles tense. I stood as still as a statue. When the tiger moved to where there was a tree between itself and I, I noticed another onlooker near to me, just as puzzled as myself but seemingly less shaken.
"Why is there a tiger here? What's going on?" I asked.
"I'm not sure."
I had broken my gaze with the tiger to look at this man who had appeared as if from nowhere. When I looked back at the tiger, its gaze was on me, and we made eye contact. It began to take steps that were very obviously in our direction, and scared for my own life, I started matching the tiger's steps, only I was moving backwards. Without warning the tiger broke out into a sprint, and I followed suit, turning and kicking up grass as I booked it towards my back door. The tiger was gaining on me but the distance to my door was short enough for me to make it there in time before the tiger could reach me.
Once inside I grabbed the door knob and readied myself to shut the door and deadbolt it, but not before waiting on the other man to make it to safety as well. He had followed me up to the patio but was lingering there to continue spectating! His foolishness was unbelievable!
"Get in, what the hell are you doing?" I shouted at him.
His response was an outcry of fear as the tiger fell upon him and sunk its teeth around his neck. I slammed the door and deadbolted it. Simultaneously the tiger impacted the door with its body and clawed at it voraciously. I was still in motion and continued my movement upstairs, where I shut the stairwell door and locked it too.

Impressive. Was it lucid?
Don't think so, I just have crazy fucking dreams. I read this thread awhile back though, and have made it a point to try and recall as much as I can from my dreams in detail. Keeping this up, I tend to remember more and more from them.
