Last night I had a dream that a vagina ate my arm.
Was it wet?
I just woke up from... something.
I became aware I was "sleeping" right as I started to enter rem sleep, so I started lucid dreaming, I guess.
I remember feeling like I was being lifted out of bed, and I could hear this... screaming. It wasn't audible, just loud and horrifying. I looked at my wall and saw this... black spot resembling an amoeba, which I am guessing was a floater out of the corner of my eye.
I think I was having sleep paralysis, in hindsight. :feelsscaryman:

Nope, never had a wet dream, thank god :v:

I meant the vagina :v:

Oh, then I suppose, being that my arm slid in with ease.

Good to know ;D.
Just had a dream where Steam started selling prostitutes.
So last night I tried WILD. I laid as still as possible for about 20 minutes before I started getting a numb feeling in my legs. Progressively this numbness rose throughout my body. My heartbeat also began rapidly increasing and my eyes were moving uncontrollably with my eyelids closed. It faded off maybe five minutes later.
I have no idea what that was but I think I finally had a breakthrough.
Had a dream I was in a city of bright concrete built around a canal. Acquaintances were there, walking around the city in the distance but never close enough to call out to. There was a principal bridge across the canal and here I met one of the Engineers from Prometheus. We didn't say anything to each other but for reasons either implied or absent I began to panic and run away.
Before I woke up I was in a tunnel under the city by a campfire. I have no idea how I got there, but that's how my dreams usually play out.
For example, I once had a dream that I was in a museum of curiosities on a pier in South America. The curator approached me and pointed at a meat hook hanging from the ceiling, corded off to signify it was part of the exhibit. I swore I knew him so I asked him if we'd met before and he simply walked away. I then went to a tailor on the same pier and had a denim jacket made. I'll never forget that.
p much nailed my remee settings now. Last night was my third with it, the light appeared in my dream. I was having a boring dream about washing dishes when lights started appearing in the air in front of me. They were white instead of red, because of my my brain messing with their appereance but still, it was the remee. I didn't realize them as a dream sign and continued doing my nightly dishes, so the next thing now that my settings are right is to train to recognize them to become lucid!

"Ship all the things!" on the chalkboard :v:
Yesterday I had a dream involving sentient animals, including talking rabbits, mad wolves and something about the end of the world I didn't remember all that well.
The best thing I can remember is walking in a orange canyon with this cool survivalist rabbit who kept talking about the meaning of life and his best buddy who's a mute turtle. We then suddenly reached some hovering drawbridge leading to a floating island but got chased off by a pack of angry wolves who kept screaming that someone stole their potatoes while they chased us through another orange canyon, I clearly remember looking behind me and seeing a wolf who, upon seeing me looking at him said "What's up?". We shortly afterward somehow hid in a cave where we met the previous mentioned mute turtle who, upon us magically appearing in there said "I don't like this" (with the most heavy Swedish accent I have ever heard) which provoked me to yell "FUCK I KNEW YOU COULD TALK!" and then the orange walls started peeling off like old, damp wallpaper. Something cold and sticky grabbed my right shoulder and me being all pumped up in the dream took a hold of my right arm and jabbed it as hard as possible at whatever was grabbing me.
Then I woke up in a lot of pain because I just smashed my elbow as hard as I could into the concrete wall next to my bed. I actually got a cool idea for a game from this, wish I had more screwed up dreams like this more often. Minus the smashing of elbows of course.
Oh right, forgot to tell about last night's dream.
I met some bully at school, and he was an ass. But he died in some way and went to hell. But he was so evil, he actually took over hell and made a base there to conquer the world with. I opened a portal and jumped in, and infiltrated the guy's base. I saw two levers, one read "Send all money back" and one read "Receive all money". They were the control levers for his world domination support money!
I snuck to the sending lever and pulled it. Didn't work and made a beep sound. I saw the boss approach. I pulled the lever again, and it still didn't work. The evil bastard was right around the corner. Just as he came around and saw me, I pulled the lever again and it worked! All of his money was sent away and he became depressed as hell. I went to him and said, "before everything blows up and you die, take a last ride at your World Domination Carousel to remind yourself of how you used to be before this moment".
His carousel was basically composed of two giant statues of himself, carrying a spinning wheel with little airplanes attached that he could sit in. He sat in the toy airplane, just silently spinning around while looking depressed and everything around us was falling apart due to lack of money. Dream ended as the place collapsed on the evil guy
I once had this dream I was in the movie Dodgeball, but it took place in my friend's basement, huge paint buckets were being used as the dodgeballs, and the only way to deflect the paint buckets were these pillows.
So for the lucky few who have one, what's the overall opinion on Remee?
So I was Will Smith. I had a wife and a little 10-year old boy. There was a tsunami that was going to end the world. I had a really nice shelter up in an apartment building that survived the tsunami. Forest Whitaker was our neighbor.

Gives you the chance to become lucid, and it's up to you/the user to train him/herself to recognize that signal. It's by no means an instant lucid trigger, but a tool that also requires effort from the user to make full use of. I'm pretty satisfied with how it's been so far, the customizability is a big plus along with excellent build quality and good comfortability.
I seem to remember my dreams only when I sleep the day and wake the night. But maybe it's just the number of hours I sleep, and the point during my sleep I wake up in. But my sleep pattern hasn't changed from this in a while, so I've been remembering my dreams for the past days consecutively. It's pretty fucking awesome, since I'm used to not remembering my dreams at all, which makes it seem like you don't dream, which sucks.

I thought these automatically detected REM?
Been having vivid dreams every night nonstop for 4 months and I've had enough of it. Does my fucking head in. I took SSRI's for two bloody days, and they had such a huge impact on my mind. I've been having vivid dreams (among other things) for so long, it's like I can't get any bloody rest. I sleep, and it's as if I'm living a second life. I wake up in the mornings feeling so exhausted. I'm so tired throughout the day, sleep doesn't bring me rest any more.
Another thing that does my head in is how if I have a particularly stressful (fighting my friends, or fighting enemies / monsters) or upsetting (family member dying, someone I care about being hurt) dream, I'll wake up in the morning with such an overwhelming sense of that emotion, be it hurt, stress, upset, sadness.
Going to a sleep study tomorrow, to hopefully see if the doctor can help me stop having these awful vivid dreams. I hope it's something simple, like sleep apnea keeping me in REM cycle due to lack of oxygen.
Had a dream me, my girlfriend and our friends went to Tim Hortons, we ordered huge bowls of chocolate ice cream (Tim Hortons, what) and they all made me sit alone.
fuck
So i dreamt that i was talking to someone on the phone. i woke up from this dream and had my hand placed on my ear as if i held a phone there. my fist was even shaped as if it was holding a phone.
In an earlier post you said you had to set a timer for it. I thought these automatically detected REM?
No, automatic REM detection is something only found in the ~$300+ masks. Remee relies on a timer that you can customize to your own sleep cycle. Not as reliable, but it's the price of paying only $95.
On a related note, I was having a dream about driving a car away from a nuclear explosion when suddenly lights started flashing in front of me. I thought "lights? lights.. OH RIGHT" and then woke up. So close :v:
i feel like you could make your own remee with a little electrical engineering and like $10
i feel like you could make your own remee with a little electrical engineering and like $10
although you need the data on what led things you need and all that.
Did anyone prove the LED technology used in remee is useful for lucid dreaming?
i feel like you could make your own remee with a little electrical engineering and like $10
probably, but i'm too lazy for that and dont have the equipment nor electrical engineering knowledge
you could make a lot of products yourself but it's easier to just buy them ready
I just don't feel comfy in bed unless my face is on my pillow.
I know that sleeping like this can lead to permanent bags under the eyes, and other problems.
How can I go about breaking this habit?

How do you not suffocate yourself?
How do you not suffocate yourself?
I should have been more specific, I sleep on my side, with one half of my face on the pillow. :v:

I always sleep on my side too, I think it's my main cause of acne right now. It's mainly on one side of my face, but I can only fall asleep on my side sadly.
