"I set them up, you knock them down" that bit of dialogue is all I can remember from last nights dream. I should really keep a journal because it was really interesting, I just can't remember it.
My dream recall's been a bit shabby lately, I tend to forget my dreams immedietely upon waking up. It doesn't take me long to remember them, although I tend to only recall the last few moments. Sometimes I can work my way backwards and remember more, though.
Those dreams where you do stuff with friends. Then you almost start talking about it the next day like it happened. I can't remember the dream (it was a few months ago) but I did almost mention it... :v: Anyone else have this happen?
For the longest time I would dream I was Legolas, and I'd always be getting crushed by 2 spiked rollers. It was scary shit.
I've never really had the patience to lucid dream and such, but recently I've been remembering ym dreams, and I'm going to try to progress. Wish me luck guys
Had a lot of time in bed this morning, which of course, means crazy as shit vivid dreams one after the other. The final one was quite something Started with me outside my house in the dark, with nothing more than the street lights just barely lighting everything up. The main focus was the Moon up in the sky, much larger than normal. Thing is, a rapture of some sort had begun, and the moon was the first noticeable thing to start being destroyed, so it'd become a huge ball of magma, with parts of the grand lava ocean randomly bubbling and exploding towards space, in the same way of solar flares . It was hugely unstable, rushing around and swirling amongst itself. Around the moon where huge black clouds slightly obscuring parts from view. The heat occasionally burned off some of it, but it always grew back. They where generating a tonne of lightning, with incredibly large spikes pricking the lava lake below every so often. The one thing that struck me was how orange and luminescent the lava was, and how bright blue the lightning looked. It was like a movie poster, teal and orange, like the Battlefield 3 cover. I don't know how long I spent looking up at this, but I soon noticed just how quiet everything was. I could hear the occasional rush of wind, or even distant thunder storms, but apart from that, nobody was panicking. Nobody was running around, or shouting, there weren't even any cars. Only one lone person was seen running. Nobody knew how to react. Everyone was calm, and quiet, some people where outside completely mesmerized by the destructive spectacle of the moon, but most where inside with their families. I don't know how or why, but everyone knew that the earth would soon follow suit. I eventually went into my house, my family was nowhere to be seen. It was really really dark though, and still oh so very quiet. I went upstairs and turned on a light, which only slightly helped the darkness, and for some reason the light was dark blue rather than yellow tinged. So I continued life normally for a while, it was really creepy knowing what was outside, in a dark empty perfectly quiet house. Eventually I just sat down and waited, like everyone else. Then I just woke up, no grand finale or crescendo, it just ended. I think there's a morale here, but it's a bit dark. Makes me want to get into lucid dreaming again, I think my mental health is much less of an issue now, so I should be able to stick with it.
I hate when I think a dream really happened. Last month I had one where me and my brother got into a huge argument and our insults cut deep. I didn't speak to him for about a week and one day he comes up to me and says "Why the hell aren't you speaking to me" and I start reciting what he "said" to me. He just laughs and says "What the hell is wrong with you?"
This weekend, I had this really creepy half asleep/half awake moment. I was lying in bed about to fall asleep, when I heard this kind of scraping, metallic sound. I first thought it was a train, because I live close to a railway station, and trainwheels make a similar sound when they brake or pass a turn/crossing. However it just kept on going, and after a minute or so the scraping got more 'melodious' and it started resembling a really creepy violin horror tune. At this point I was so focussed on the sound that I just wanted to know where it came from, so I opened my eyes, and then it was instantly gone. Mindfucked.
Tonight I was reminded in a dream how much I adore Modest Mouse.

This is the first night in a long time I can properly remember my dreams. Or at least bits of it. I was in some neighborhood at night, when a plane flew over me. Someone fell out of it, screaming for help. As they fell onto the ground and died, I was covered in black, spotted blood. The person who had fallen was a girl, but I don't know who it was, nor did I recognize the voice. I was fumbling with my phone, which for some reason was zebra-striped. In the next dream I was in a forest being hunted by a bear. All I had to defend myself was a bow and a sword. Ever played Shadow of the Colossus? That's what my dream felt like. Finding weakspots, and being clever, luring the bear around corners so I could attack it. For some reason my sister showed up and said "Don't you remember that bears can climb trees?" (No idea why she spoke in English, seriously). So I climbed up into a tree and swung back and forth in it, launching me into the air like a cartoon. I accidentally dropped my jacket, and I climbed over a jay-high fence where my sister was. The bear was coming for us and tried to jump over the fence, and I charged my bow, but the bear failed. Instead, it dropped my jacket and ran off back into the forest. The last dream was rather stale, I think I was waking up again so it felt more realistic. For some reason I ordered a Big Mac, some fries and a cola at McDonalds. After I did and got my food I went immediately to the drive through and bought another one. When I "got home" in the dream I went to bed and forgot the food. Then when I "woke up" in the dream I felt hungry, but I thought I had actually woken up in real life, so I didn't think the food would be there, but it was. So I sat up and looked into the bag, and the food was ruined, and the cola wasn't fizzy anymore. (Oh the horror) And then I woke up.
tell me yours reality checks you use, i want inspiration
i would like to know this too
Had a dream that Israel attacked Finland with chemical weapons. I saw two truck convoys moving on both sides of my city, managed to sneak and jump into one of the trucks that carried gas masks. The two Israeli soldiers driving it told me how I was lucky to be one of the few people to survive, now that I got a gas mask from them. This was where I realized their nationality, because of how crooked their noses were (dream racism hah) I saw the other convoy about 2km away gushing out green smoke, which I presume was the deadly gas. But then the convoy I was on stopped, and a general came to the truck I was on. He was very angry at the two soldiers for letting me on board, and slapped them with a folded newspaper before whipping out a pistol and shooting me in the back as I tried to run away. Woke up there.
tell me yours reality checks you use, i want inspiration
I hold my nose and try to breathe, hasn't failed me yet.
tell me yours reality checks you use, i want inspiration
I check my pockets for something specific., if I have a pair of dice or whatever then I am dreaming.
I've never been able to remember to do a reality check, the rare times I recall dreams.
What's a nice beginning way towards lucid dreaming? Like anyone suggest a method or anything to start off? I have such difficulty remembering to reality check so that's not been working out.
What's a nice beginning way towards lucid dreaming? Like anyone suggest a method or anything to start off? I had a dream when I was 8 about a war going on in my neighbourhood, there was an armed guy dressed as a WW2 American Soldier (probably because WW2 games were most popular back in 2003) he was yelling at me from behind the living room couch and told me to take cover.
On Saturday (?), I had a dream where I [sp]deepthroat[/sp]ed myself. That, was, intense. Now I get hard whenever I think about that dream. Help
tell me yours reality checks you use, i want inspiration
I have a ring with writing on it. Even if the ring shows up in the dream, the writing is guaranteed to be fucked up. I also wear it all the time, so it ends up being super reliable given that I remember to do it.
Had a dream about flying a single-propellor plane really low to the ground, and scaring people with those flyovers.
last night i woke up because i had vomited a little bit in my mouth i hadn't been drinking or anything and it wasn't a real full vomit, just a little bit of stomach acid in my throat has this happened to anyone else?
This morning I went back to sleep after class and had a lucid dream. The content of the normal dream was kind of... what the fuck like seriously but then I did a reality check, started walking around, and the scenery kept changing. I came to a place like a balcony, with an interesting rooftop nearby. I decided to float up to it, and at first I felt like I was rising. Then I got this weird feeling, and I woke up, slowly realizing that the "rooftop" was actually the rail attached to the side of my bed. That was really trippy, though I think I ended up having a false awakening after that, so I'm not sure if I actually woke up or not.

I felt fine, but it was a decent excuse to get out of school for the day. Though this is not quite the same experience you had, you reminded me of it, and it was fucking gross.
I had a dream where the apocalypse happened and I was the only man alive. It was super cold winter without snow. I had a huge beard, was dirty as hell. I wore clothes made of animal skins and had a spear. Lived in a cave. Also was depressing as fuck. [editline]12th December 2012[/editline] Need to start lucid because why not
I've had two lucid dreams. And each time instead of flying, which I've been wanting to do from the start because it sounds fucking awesome, I always end up banging the girl I like. Please help!
