Fuck. Realized during a dream last night that it was a dream, and everything stopped (a teacher was giving a lecture and my classmates froze) and everything went into slow-motion, and I realized at that time I could take over the dream and do whatever I wanted. But I decided to wake up instead and go back to sleep, seeing as I couldn't be bothered to lucid dream. Once I woke up, I was stuck in sleep paralysis for a good 2 minutes. Was quite scary, felt so leaden, but thankfully no creepy aural hallucinations or anything. Went back to sleep and had another vivid dream, but didn't become lucid. Kinda happy and sad to be honest. Happy that I became lucid for a split second, and sad that my dumbass, sleep-deprived brain thought it'd be better to wake up and then go back to sleep.
Last night I had a dream that me and a friend made a cake, then I fucked her mom.
i have a bad habit of intentionally waking myself up from nightmares when i become lucid in them would be better if I tried to turn them into good dreams instead of just waking up.
I have this problem, I have the bad habit of intentionally waking myself up as soon as I go lucid, I don't know why, it's like I get scared of going lucid so when I realize I'm in a dream, I just force my eyes open.

I'm scared because the minute I realize I'm lucid, I'm worried I'll think up horrible shit and have a nightmare. So I force myself out of them because I feel like my brain is stupid enough to start imagining up some pretty horrific stuff.
Jeez I've been having so many nightmares this month. A couple every week. And they're all different too. This last one had my brother and I visiting some house, maybe it was ours? Dunno. Regardless, I walk out the front door and look back as my bro is coming through it and I see a fucking hornets nest on the outside of the door. I yell at him to go back inside and I force the door closed, pissing off the hornets. I turn around and there are 2 more equally sized nests on the porch, so I run. Theres 3 more at the end of the path from the porch, and fucking hundreds of really small nests all over the ground. I was just surrounded by hornets, bees, all manner of flight capable stinging insects. I was batting them off and running and screaming at people to run away from here and at some point I hunkered down and jumped. I jumped up and glided down onto the roof several stories up. It was free of everything on the ground. I slipped back inside through a sunroof and just trembled on the floor until I woke up.
I have lucid dreams when I /know/ the dream I live won't ever happen. latest dream was wonderful!.. I was in my class, and the first thing I saw on me was a fucking explosive belt. The only thing I said was "I want [slow and dark voice] moneeeeey".. they just all looked at me with a happy face.. then I woke up. Am I terrorist yet?
Lately I've been having trouble inducing lucids. Specifically, my mind stopped recognizing my nosepinch reality check as a reality check and everything proceeds as if I hadn't done it. Are there any other ones I can start doing?
Sometimes when I dream I know that I am dreaming but I'm not able to control myself.
Hey guys, I've been wondering. Can any of you find out you're in a dream by simply feeling it? The feeling I'm talking about is like the feeling you get when somebody is walking behind you. When the hairs stand up on your back and you can't resist turning backwards and looking, but on a much smaller scale. If I can sense this feeling I then do a reality check, and can realize I'm dreaming. Sometimes I can even realize I'm dreaming from the feeling alone! Does anyone else have this? I'd love to know. I also have not been able to get any lucid dreams recently. Could anyone help with that or link to a guide or something?
Sometimes when I dream I know that I am dreaming but I'm not able to control myself.
basically me by 95% it's rarely i get a hold of myself and actually go full lucid. i seem to have achieved sleep paralysis a few weeks ago. but only to feel something was crawling my back the entire time i was completely paralyzed and tried to move. lost it.

Had a lucid nightmare. Dreamt I was working for a terrorist (he looked like Fidel Castro). We were in his bunker and had three British soldiers tied down to chairs. And then there were two 'locals' who were also tied down (Cuban or soon something). I had a camcorder and was forced into recording it by the leader. I really didn't want to but was too scared to go against his wishes. So Fidel starts interrogating the locals, then he pulls out an Uzi and literally shoots their heads. It was disgusting because their heads literally disintegrated and showed the brain. I felt really sick and wanted to stop it but couldn't. Then he turned to the British soldiers and it made me so sad. They accepted their fate and the looks on their eyes really got to me. The leader then disintegrated their heads, and the last soldier got his throat shot open. Then it was just the two of us. He looked into the camera then said 'I hope you enjoyed the show. My faithful camera man, <my name >, will now commit suicide'. Was really scary and I woke up after this. Fucking hate nightmares like that. I'm lucid but can't end them. [editline]23rd December 2012[/editline] Fuck you, Fidel Castro.

First post on this thread. Had a rather... Interesting dream to say the least. I recall every single moment of it, from the beginning to the very end. It basically starts out with me, heavily armored in what seemed like double-layered in doubled-over iron, gold trimmed. The helmet, similar to that of a viking helmet, without horns, was decorated with black metal, I assumed iron, with gold trim. My face was entirely hidden, so nothing of my features could be seen. I also distinctly remember the pauldrons and shoulder armors being rather bulky. The kneeboots, as well, were 'spiked' at the knee parts of it. Enough talk about the appearance, onto the story. I began walking into a rather large, ongoing hallway or whatever, lined with at least twenty pillars on each side of them. Behind the colonnades, there were at least five hundred or some, red robed men and women with helmets. They were all standing very formally and uptight. At the end of the hallway were three giant windows which let light in. A rather large, towering man sat at a throne, the head of the throne going up at least 10 feet. The man himself had a large blade at least five or six feet in length. If I remember correctly, he wore blood-red armor with rather large shoulder pads reaching outwards to his sides. They were decorated with scratch marks and markings. The man, rising from his throne, was at least a good seven feet tall. He wore a large, draping red cape with black trim. Speaking up, I believe he said "So it is you, so daring to face my entire legion of men and women. Now you stand in my presence." I walked towards him, the kneeboots clunking. "Look upon me, worm. Look upon me, the Emperor, and die." The towering man, beginning to run at an incredibly fast speed, as do I begin running at a slower pace due to the armor. Giving the first strike, he gave a rather vicious slash, his helmet's 'tail' flailing around. His expression was that of rage. Fighting rather viciously, the 'Emperor', as I'll call him now, he managed to chip several pieces of armor off of me. The Emperor booms his voice in rage, I believe he said "You kill without purpose! You kill my men without reason! Now face an Emperor's wrath!" The Emperor gives several series of savage strikes of his enormous blade. Finally, he managed to actually slice a good chunk of my shoulder off, leaving me bleeding out of my shoulder. The Emperor was beginning to waiver, however. Using my strength, I began to push him back till we were at his throne. At a lock, we traded words which I don't remember. I began overtaking him, pushing him towards one of the windows. The Emperor was tiring, dropping his blade. Before he could retrieve it, I grabbed it, leaving him without a weapon. I managed to move him back towards the nearest window, both blades pointed at him. I remember him saying "My legion! Defend your Emperor! DEFEND WHO YOU SERVE! I COMMAND IT!" but none of the red-robed men and women moved. They simply watched. The one thing I remember saying was "You are no longer their Emperor." and impaling the Emperor in the abdomen with both blades, pulling out mine but leaving his own inside of his abdomen. Blood began running down his mouth as he backed up, falling out of the window. I moved myself, battered and beaten, towards the throne. One by one, the men and women moved out of the pillars and faced me. Slowly, they all bowed down, one of the men decorated in gold and crimson red. Speaking, he says "In defeating our old Emperor, we all now accept you as our new Emperor." That's where the dream ends. I had a couple of other rather vivid dreams, but I don't quite remember them. That's all I remember from that one. To say the least, I'm surprised I remembered this much from this dream. Though, it was the most recent one as well. end of word wall now. I'm sure you all found it (not) riveting.
Had a few dreams last night. First one was about go-kart racing in a cart that was way too small for me. Looked comical. Second one I remember a lot better. One of my old "co-workers" (a dream character) moved to Argentina (that country again, why does it keep appearing in my dreams) and left me a letter to read. In the letter, she said how she had loved me and is incredibly sad that she never could tell me her feelings, and how she cried on her couch as she had to move to the other side of the world. At this moment I felt a strong urge to get her. I ran to the airfield, asked for tickets to Argentina but the salesman said they were all sold out due to christmas. But then an old guy approached me, said he could take me there with his old twin-seater plane. I accepted his offer, and we boarded his plane. It was really crummy, like out of the 50s or something and patched with scotch tape, and I was wondering if it'd even fly. But the guy took off (while chipping a couple of trees with his wingtips) and then the dream "skipped". Skipped to Argentina. I found the girl and it was a teary reunion and then we lived the rest of our lives in the country as a couple, without returning back to Finland. My third dream was about being a king or something and it involved hopping between parallel universes, like many other dreams of mine. Made it really confusing. I remember entering a cave and fighting off two rabid dogs, one of which bit into my heel. I managed to kill it with a wooden sword, but the dog had actually escaped from a chemical weapons lab several years earlier, and contained a poison that paralyzed and killed you in minutes. I felt the paralysis seeping in and then I died. I woke up to find my right heel numb. I had pressed it against my bed's side and it lost bloodflow, causing me to have a dream where a dog was biting into it for quite a while. [editline]24th December 2012[/editline] Also two WILDs caused by remee's lights, they appeared as I was drifting to sleep and made me conscious enough to realize the situation. [editline]24th December 2012[/editline] god damn those were some strong WILD vibrations when i was floating off of my bed, fuck. like every cell in my body was having an earthquake.
I remember reading that if you fall asleep flat on a vibrating surface, like a massage chair, it makes it easier to lucid dream. Something to do with vibrations creating a better canvas for your mind to drift. Anybody ever tried this?
Ever get one of those dreams within a dream? Those are fun. Dream I had was based off Inception, how creatively ironic. When I entered that second dream level, the main cast of the Sopranos slowly entered that same sub-dream one by one.

I once had a dream where I was locked in my room, the windows were glued shut, & the blinds wouldn't unfold, & my pet chihuahua was trying to bite off my penis.
I slept for two hours, now I've been awake for two hours. I feel like now's a good time to try to wild.
I just had the most bizzare yet awesome dream. It involved Napoleon Bonaparte, a sexy native american, a friend of mine, and Quebec. We went on adventures through Montreal, and the north. The Native American hated Napoleon, my friend wanted to chill with Napoleon, and I was just drifting through going "what the fuck". Eventually we swam to Paris (what). All in all I'll give it a 9/10
Ok guys, I need some answers... I'll start from the beggining with a very short story. I see girl at school 11/10, easily the most perfect girl in terms of looks imo try to get her number, fail, see her with douchebag short time after 4 months past that, he dumps her and she finds out he cheated on her opportunity, I strike and get her number we get to know each other over the summer she becomes simply "The best company I could ever get", fall in love with her due to being perfection in my eyes (yes it's one of those stories) tell her how I feel, "sorry I don't feel the same way (despite twisting my neck backwards just to look at you)" ("I knew this would happen") same shit happens again, but we still stay friends... ...until I snap and just decide to say it again in a self-destruct sequence and put an end to a quest without end and what probably was one of the most meaningful friendships ever to me So, in short, I meet the girl for who I'd take a robocop-level-of-buckshot-to-the-face, fall in love, screw up on a lot of things, "sorry, lets just be friends", can't take it anymore, and end it. Now heres where the shit gets interesting... I spent about 4 months in a half sad, half rage-filled condition for her not wanting anything else other than friendship from me, until 2012 started. It was the turn of the year for me, met another girl, and just said "fuck that shit, I'm now NoFeels Man". I'll be honest. From time to time, I remember her, due to the long talks we used to have, and due to how much we actually cared for each other (or she faked, at the very least). The thing is... I go for long times without thinking about her. And even though I am generally busy talking to someone else or doing something else and not remembering her at all or even thinking about anything near that topic, I dream about her, at least once a month, going as far as maybe twice, or even 3 times a month, if not more and I just don't remember it. The details are always blurry after waking up, but the dreams are a flurry of emotions... Sometimes, they have a very heart-warming feel to them, possibly from being close to her, or from seeing her again, others have this feeling of being incomplete, unfinished, as if it was taunting me, showing what I screwed up, what I could achieve, what I left behind, saying goodbye forever... Few dreams have big details to them, or maybe I just don't remember the details of the rest. It's mostly her being... well, being her. Nothing else. Just her being herself to me in the dreams, or other times, also taunting me. Theres one dream I remember best... I was at school, during one of those days when everyone has classes and the school block gets packed as much as a nightclub. The school blocks are basically 2 story high buildings with classrooms on each floor, and while the teacher doesn't comes, everyone waits at the door. In the dream, I somehow could see her and her friends, and everyone else, but at the same time, could only see her and her group, and no one else, as if everyone else was just background from the building itself, while I just look at her, while she looks at the semi-invisible crowd. I have no idea of what this means. Lately, I've been dreaming about her even more times without so much as a thought about her. The weird, and I guess unrelated thing about this, is that my friend mentioned her for no particular reason after I had a dream about her, which was today. Wow, what a wall of text... Sorry for that, and for the shitty story that belongs in LA thread instead, but these dreams are getting more frequent, and I don't know why.
So, I had a dream a few days ago that was really weird. In the dream Facepunch was like real. It was a place in the world and people would go to there to talk and post things on billboards and shit. The billboards look like facepunch threads and all that and there were sections you could go to and shit. Also bans just meant you could go back to Facepunch for a while, however a Perma-ban meant you had to die. So in this Facepunch world I was goofing around and shit. Then out of nowhere I got perma-banned. The would place turned red and there were sirens and stuff going off. Then I saw some text in my hud saying "You have been perma-banned by Orkel". I was like "Oh Fuck, Oh Fuck!" and I started sprinting out the door. Just before I got to the door Orkel's avatar was there waiting for me, except it was 10ft tall and had a shit ton of weapons on it. It was saying "Must exterminate the Perma-banned user". So then it became a game of cat and mouse until I got to some weapons room. There were just so many weapons and awesome ones too, but instead I took a fork. A fucking fork, not the rocket launcher or the portal gun or the gravity gun, just a fork because I heard a voice say "Take the fork so you can stir your Ovaltine". When Orkel's avatar caught up it pinned me to the wall with it's giant hand and aimed a rocket at my face. Then I panicked and stuck the fork in its neck which shut it down. I stood over the robotic hulk and said "Woohooo I escaped a perma-ban." Then I heard clapping in the distance. There's Garry clapping. Not Garry the person, but Garry's body with his avatar over his face and his lips didn't move. "Well done. You completed the test and done what most cannot with the Fork of Destiny." At this point I'm just like wtf is happening. A man with the words Orkel above his head comes out of the shadows and starts fixing Orkel's avatar. "Man, Garry why's it always gotta be my robot that gets beaten up? Why can't you have some other mods robot beaten to a pulp?", said Orkel. "What beaten to a pulp? I just put a fork in it and it shut down guy. It almost killed me man!" <-Me "Well you're alive and that's what counts", said Garry, "I would like to make you a mod." "What? I become a mod if I escape a perma-ban?" "Yes that's how it has always worked. The same goes for Mr. Apple and the rest." "But I thought you elected them or something like that?" "No, we put them up to the same test you went through. That's how we add new mods." Then over my head a green name popped up that said Zernbrog. With a title that said "Mod of shit and stuff like that aka Fast Threads". I was just awe struck and then Orkel, Orkel's Avatar and Garry left. I was alone just sitting there and then the fork hopped in my hand. The fork started speaking to me. Telling me all the powers that a mod has and stuff like that. Then it said to "get up and start Modding because there is a lot to do!" And then the dream ended. I really hope that dream continues like most the dreams I have. I know Orkel should get a kick out of this one.
wtf
Hey orkel how's that mask thingy working out
It's gotten me some lucids, but it works a bit differently that expected, atleast for me. Instead of always noticing the lights in a dream and becoming lucid via the "oh hey" principle (although that's also happened), it's more like the lights flashing throughout the night make me more aware/conscious of my "situation" in general and cause lucids indirectly. So it's more of a raiser of awareness than a direct lucid trigger. Hard to explain. But overall I quite like the mask. Though I'm 100% certain that newbies won't get instant lucids with it, it has to be merged with your usual hard training. [editline]2nd January 2013[/editline] For example last night, I had a dream that the lights entered into - it was about being at a school cafeteria when I overheard a group of students sitting at a table nearby saying how they were wizards. I went to them and said, "wizards? I'm one too!" and made a giant ball of fire between my hands and they were like "oh nice", while the fireball was mysteriously flickering in the same order as the remee's lights :v: which made me semi-lucid. Not lucid enough to take full control but the dream became very vivid and exciting
I started taking B12, and that stuff has me remembering my dreams like crazy, after years of not remembering anything. On that note, I had a dream about playing TTT last night. I need to figure this addiction out.
